354 Steakhouse in Cliffside Park, NJ. Located on 354 Lawton Street-come hungry because everything on the menu is amazing. You get a classic steakhouse variety of steaks and chops but also an option for flavorful Cuban dishes. We opted more on the steak house options and it did not disappoint! The steak and seafood paella were my favorites but honestly anything you get here you will be happy! The French onion soup is homemade and oh so cheeeesy. Amazing service and drinks-loved it!

5 stars! The food was so good! It wasn't salty and well cooked. ALL DISHES, not just one. From the appetizers to the entrees, everything was done really really well. I wanted a steak and seafood place and this place delivered. I'm a bit bummed that you had to ask for bread, but the chips were a nice touch. The mussels Diablo as an appetizer was A+, good and spicy. The dishes weren't salty at all which I was a fan of, because I like adding salt myself. My dad loved the French onion soup and the sizzling steak which I had was literal perfection. The service was okay, nothing crazy worth noting, but she was helpful and got our orders right.

Where do I even begin? I had the most amazing experience here tonight 03/20/2021. I called ahead and reserved a table for 7pm. There are hand sanitizers on the table but social distance wasn't much of a thing. The restaurant is small so I don't fault them. Mostly everyone inside knew one another so that tells me this is either a family establishment or these were locals supporting their peeps! Either way it's cool with me, I'm here for it. Prices are very reasonable and food is delicious. The appetizer ribs were my favorite, fall off the bone baby back ribs with some sort of sweet sauce. That was some slap Ya mama ribs. I didn't even share, oops :) We had steak, onion rings, creamed spinach, rice, empanadas, garlic chicken, hot wings, fried calamari, etc.... so much food. The waitress and busboys checked in often, clears the table of the dirty plates and brings refills. At the end of it all we had a huge amount of food for 5 people, under $300 including tip so that's a steal. I didn't have any complaints at all. We're definitely coming back again and again.

I rate this place a 7. The service was excellent. Food came out piping HOT, they were so fast and accommodating. However, I'm sorry to say, the food was just mediocre. We started off with the red Sangria, this was excellent! We ordered the fried calamari (very chewy) and the guac and plantain chips, this was ok. I ordered the sirloin steak with the herbal butter and mushrooms, garlic mash and spinach....too garlicy but other than that , no flavor. My husband got the filet mignon and the mash as well. He said it was ok, but nothing to brag about. Place was dingy and everything felt sticky and gross. I'm sorry... I don't think I'd come back.

One of my girlfriends took me here for a late birthday lunch. When I arrived I had to drive a little distance to find parking because it is really tough in the area. I walked in and found my friend already seated. Julianna was our waitress and she was cool. I started with the red sangria and that was so tasty. My friend also ordered one and her's wasn't as tasty lol. For my entrée I got the ribeye with a side of rice and vegetables. My friend got the surf and turf. My meal was very good but it was very fatty. My friend enjoyed her meal and it looked tasty. I did enjoy my time at this establishment.

Just moved into the neighborhood. While walking my dog I saw this restaurant and saw they had a table outside. It was a really hot day so they weren't servicing outside dining but they thankfully accommodated me. Ordered the mixed empanadas, French onion soup, and the ropa vieja with rice and beans. The food was excellent. Can't wait to go back and try some other dishes.

I was in this area for business and had a 1:00 PM appointment. A Yelp friend , Christian L suggested 354 Steakhouse for lunch, so let's do this. When we got there the street was closed off by the local police so I had to park a block away. No problem. We were the only ones there for lunch so we have our pick of tables. Very old world atmosphere, wood everywhere even the ceiling. Good menu with several choices. I noticed a leaning toward Cuban fare. I chose the "Seafood Valencia", which was an assortment of shell fish over a bed of yellow rice. My associate/son picks the "chopped steak". Oy, he didn't realize it's just a giant hamburger. And he wants to take over my business. Oy again. Ok so my lunch. It comes out and at first appears to be just a pile of yellow rice with a couple of rings of calimari on top. At first I'm disappointed but then I start to move the rice around and seafood starts pouring out. Shrimp, clams, mussels, calimari of course, shrimp. A lot of food, in fact way too much for me. I was full, and half the food was left on my plate. Overall a good lunch, and yes I would go back, but next time I'll order a smaller meal. Thanks again Christian for the recommendation.

16oz Rib Eye (order it, you won't regret it) with a side of broccoli and Seafood Paella for one in the back (order this too!)

Finally got the chance to dine in! My parents have been wanting to take me for awhile. With covid, the groups were socially distanced and all staff members were wearing masks full time. And hand sanitizers were available on each table. Our server, Selvin was THE BEST. He was so friendly, attentive and always checking up on us. Also the other servers and staff members were all great as well. All polite. When the people are great, it truly makes the whole experience so much better. I order the rib eye 16oz cooked medium rare with the side of broccoli. Parents got the sizzling steak and the churrasco with shrimp (Wednesday dinner special- same price as ordering churrasco but comes with shrimp!). To share we got the fried zucchini's and seafood paella for one. I basically slurped the rib eye. Delicious, tender and perfectly cooked. Flavor was perfect and simple. It wasn't super fatty so it was even better. I would eat it again definitely. My parents also loved their choice of meat as well. Couldn't finish the paella but it was delicious. I've had it via takeout so I knew it was going to be delish to begin with. They pack it with so much seafood! It's amazing. Fried zucchini's I've had too via takeout but trust me, it's best when eaten there. Comes out hot and crispy and delish! And that horseradish dip is perfect. Definitely will be stopping by more often! Everything from start to end was great. Highly recommend.

For those who don't know, I film a food show on Instagram called #YummiesOnGummies, where I take a bunch of edibles and go enjoy some serious culinary delights. And let me tell you, Maison Pickle understood the assignment. Second time at the big MP, and we started with the pull-apart bread -- the herb & butter edition. OHHHHH MY GOD. It's actually better than the honey butter one, and that's saying A LOT because the honey butter had me moist. And I gotta shout out the manager Aaron and our incredible server Sarah. When I tell you they made me feel like my name was on the front of the restaurant, THEY SHOWED THE FUCK OUT. Hospitality at its finest. Made us feel right at home. Now... BACK TO THE FOOD. That MAC & CHEESE?! I need that shit again RIGHT NOW. So creamy. So much flavor. So silky. So cheesy. Please bless the chef's hands because somebody in that kitchen is doing God's work. Then came the Double Patty Melt, which is EASILY one of the best burgers I've ever had. That burger was so fire I raw-dogged it. No ketchup. No au jus. No distractions. Just meat, cheese, bun and BLISS. Then we got into the Chick Toast and that fried chicken was SO DAMN GOOD. I wish I could travel back in time, find the first slave who ever fried that bird and tell him, "Look what you've sparked!! Your suffering was not unnoticed." The brioche French toast, crispy bacon and house-made syrup had me questioning my entire life. Like... what the fuck took me so long to try this?! WHY DID I WAIT?! Then came this banging-ass French onion dip sandwich that just hugged my tongue the second I bit into it. And because apparently we hadn't done enough damage, we finished the day with a 24-layer Pumpkin Spice Latte Carrot Cake that had me feeling like a blonde-haired white woman named Lisa on a crisp autumn morning. I shall be back to Maison Pickle. And yes, I shall post yet ANOTHER review Because I LOVE that place

Usually that would mean that service is faster as the staff are walking out of the kitchen, but the service here was unbearably slow. We had to crane our heads to get our orders taken, to find someone to give us our bill, and to ask about our order. We ordered a drink (the second drink was sold out and my friend was uninterested in other options) and two appetizers and the drink came first, followed by a twenty minute wait for calamari. The calamari was probably the thinnest squid in the ocean and looked like shoestring fries, but the sauce it came in was delicious. There were approximately three zucchini sticks and four peppers in the calamari, which is on par with many restaurants, but less bang for your buck. It eventually became clear after another 10 min wait that our truffle fries were nowhere to be seen, and since we had to leave for our dinner reservation soon we struggled to flag a server, who then told us that they never put in our fries order. We obviously did not ask them to start making it for us, instead asking for the bill and then leaving. I wish I liked this place more than I did, but the service and staff here were so slow and hard to flag down it felt like we spent our entire meal looking around.

By comparison, the new one is much better and much more fitting, while still being moderately loud but not earsplitting, presumably due to both the ceilings being a lot higher and the tables being more spaced apart. It's also a lot brighter, with plenty of mirrors on the wall and larger tables. As mentioned by most others, the portions here are rather massive for NYC, even in comparison to some diners and delicatessens, which makes the prices pretty reasonable. Our large group went here for something I rarely do: brunch. The servers were reasonably overwhelmed, but still friendly. Knowing how big the portions are, I only ordered the $22 Spicy Chicken Sandwich, which is typically served with pepper jack cheese, crispy onions, and hot sour pickles on a home-baked brioche bun. I did something I rarely do, which was ask for a substitution. In this case, it was cheddar instead of pepper jack, and it was obliged. The sandwich was quite large and a bit difficult to pick up, as it was pretty messy, but the flavor was nice. The chicken was juicy, the batter was pretty light, and there was a load of crispy onions. The pickles added a bit of sour crunch and a bit of heat, and the bun did just well enough to keep it all together. Overall, it was tasty. In terms of other dishes, there were a ton. I had one of the many tasty Deviled Eggs for $15, served with pickled mustard seed, smoked paprika, and pickle chips. From the same appetizer section, I particularly enjoyed the $13 Okra & Chilies, made from smoked & pickled okra, red pepper flakes, and scallion. I liked the smokiness, and the okra had some good grill marks, with this being the lightest dish on the table, outside of the Pickle Sampler someone else got. If you're looking to have a heart attack, I would order the decent $19 Poutine. Featuring fries smothered in brown gravy, cheese, and a hollandaise drizzle, I would compare it more to disco fries or other forms of loaded fries. This was due to the lack of cheese curds and the style of gravy. Outside of the comically massive portion, it's fine. In terms of other mains, a few had the two types of Smothered Chicken, either with sausage or mushrooms, for $24. Someone else ordered the non-spicy version of the same sandwich I got. Finally, another got the gigantic $24 Chicken & Waffles, consisting of buttermilk fried chicken, a golden waffle, house maple butter, and powdered sugar. There was also another entree, but I don't remember the details. I preferred this experience a lot more than the previous time and would recommend them for brunch, at least. Just come very hungry.
