There is mainly metered street parking, but you might get lucky with residential parking if you're willing to drive around and wait for a bit. For the appetizer, we ordered the Chicharron de Calamares for the table. I would say this dish is large enough for 4 people to share. Calamari tasted a bit too starchy but the yucca fries were great. It's a small place- with only about 14 tables and you wouldn't think much of it. Luckily I've read reviews and I'm happy I came here. For an appetizer I order the yucca a la hauncaina which I usually love. This particular dish needed a little bit of salt but otherwise pretty delicious. Needless to say I ate every morsel. I thought there was going to be more of the plate but it was an appetizer so I wasn't mad about it. For my main entree I ordered the ceviche de pescado a little spicy - but man that spice level is not joking. I should have known something was off when the woman taking the order repeatedly put me a on hold to deal with other customers and at the end of the call told me my charge would be non-refundable. I've never had a restaurant say that in my life, but ok. Then she takes my number in case she needs to call me about anything, she says, and tells me it will be ready in 45 mins. I arrive an hour later and she tells me very rudely that one of the dishes I ordered is no longer available, without even the slightest apology. When I dare to ask why she didn't call to let me know so I could adjust my order, she barks that she was too busy and tough noogs, like I was inconveniencing her. It took about a half hour for me to get the rest of my order. Again no apology of any kind. Now, I worked in the restaurant business for ten years so I know how crazy things can get on a busy day. Mistakes get made. That's just the business. But if you have any class or professionalism, you understand that you are in a service industry and treat the customer with respect. You apologize for their inconvenience, you offer them a free dessert or whatever little nicety to show that you understand what kind of business you're in. You're not a drug dealer on a corner. You have some pride in the service you are offering and some pride in yourself as a service professional. But, ok, if the food is good it's honestly worth the abuse, and I would have come back because good Peruvian food is worth it's weight in gold! No such luck!!! Flavorless and bland all around.
