Awesome hookah lounge! Staff are friendly, you can pick your own music, and the hookah is amazing. Keep up the great work guys! 5/5 stars.

On a Saturday evening, I was unexpectedly looking for a hookah spot so I hopped on the trusty Yelp…read moreapp. It had been at least a year and a half since I last smoked hookah, so this is a rare occasion for me. Axis Hookah Lounge was the closest one to where I was, and the reviews were solid, so I made my way over. They're located in a shopping center along with several other businesses including a Latin club. Parking wasn't an issue. Ambiance (4/5): While it doesn't look like much from the outside, the inside is pretty nice. There is plenty of seating, mostly comfortable red couches. Which makes for a nice way to kick back and relax. There are also some tables if you'd prefer that instead. The seating is spaced out well enough where you have a little bit of privacy. And they were also playing music while I was there. Service (3.5/5): Pretty much your standard service. We were greeted upon entering, allowed to pick our seats, we ordered promptly, and the waiter brought our hookah to us. I had to proactively order drinks and close out, but overall, the service was fine. Food (N/A): I had dinner prior, so no food for me. I did notice they have crepes, but I'm not sure if they have more than that. Drinks (3/5): I had a Gatorade. They have various cans and bottles including water, La Croix, Coke, pineapple juice, and various other soft drinks and juices. No alcohol here. Which isn't uncommon as many hookah spots are Middle Eastern. Some hookah spots have alcohol and some don't. I prefer spots that do. Now to what's most important, the hookah. Pretty much your standard options. They have a good number of their own creations or you can create your own mixing fruit flavors, mint, etc. We went with one of the creations and hung around for about an hour or so. The price of the hookah was reasonable. I'd return.

We've been here several times now, and love the delicious food! We've only been there once when…read morethe belly dancer was performing, but she's awesome, too! I do have a couple of critiques but it's still 5-stars and I'll still keep going back. - Something seems to have changed with the Iraqi Salad from the first time we had it... it's still good, but it was BETTER the first time, and I can't quite place what changed. - They do not have tap water. They say their water isn't good. They sell 16.9oz bottled water from Fry's or Walmart or wherever they get it that day for $1. This is not priced on the menu, which is a problem. And, if the water isn't good, are they also using bottled water for the rice, the coffee, and other cooking? This is just strange to me and not great. - Speaking of the rice, I do wish there were more options for sides with the meals. The rice is good, but sometimes I want something else, and there isn't any other choice. - The robot servers are weird... not the worst, but this is the only place I've ever been that has them, and they still want a full tip despite using these. - Service overall isn't the most attentive. Not horrible, but again, see above. Like I said though, we'll keep going back!

Their food portions are amazing!! I always leave with alittle left over! Definitely worth the money! Super convenient location! I think it's so cool they use the robots sometimes to deliver food or drinks. Their juices are so delicious! I try to get new ones each time I visit. Highly recommend any! My favorite dish is their chicken kebabs or beef kebabs! Their sides are just as delicious ! They usually come with rice and veggies! They do have handicap parking and yes there is plenty of parking!

It was very quiet on a Wednesday night, so we had a lot of chances to get to know the restaurant owner. He was so friendly and welcoming! What a great guy! I recommended that he contact Yelp to set up a Yelp Elite event there sometime. They definitely have the space. When you walk in, there is an area for smoking hookahs. The hookahs did not have much of an odor (not like cigarette smoke), so it didn't impede on our dining experience. The atmosphere is basically a large banquet hall with a stage. The owner advised they do lots of events there, especially on the weekends. They also have a huge patio. The food! Wow! What huge, generous portions! We were all thrilled with our orders. The hummus is so creamy and delicious. They have a large menu, with photos to help you make your choices. Everything was plated beautifully and tasted amazing. I can't wait to go back and try some of their fish dishes. I was told they get fresh fish on a regular basis.
