Also one of my drinks I had to send back. My apple martini tasted like soap. It was like they did clean the glass after giving a soap bath. No bueno. So they need to get their service to match the vibe of a true cocktails lounge. Yes it is a 70s vibe but doesn't mean the lackadaisical style service. I would come back and try again. They also reminded us to park in the Renaissance Square parking garage under Wren & Wolf, and they were able to validate our parking for three hours. We had to go to Wren & Wolf first to pick up our Carry On tickets. We got there early, and they let us relax in their couch area while we waited for our departure time. The walk from the Renaissance Square parking garage to Wren & Wolf was easy. You just follow the signs, and the whole walk is inside the building, which was perfect because it was so hot outside. While we were waiting, we could order drinks and chill, just like being in an airport lounge. When it was time for departure, we walked outside the building, and Carry On was right around the corner. You won't miss it because you'll see the Carry On Air flight schedule above the gate door. Right on time, we were greeted by a friendly flight attendant. Once we walked into the cabin, it really felt like we were inside a first-class flight lounge. Our flight attendant served us drinks right after we sat down, and we also ordered more cocktails and snacks from their menu. The captain spoke to us over the speaker, just like on a real flight. As we took off, we could even feel the seats moving. Looking out the "window," we saw buildings, clouds surrounding us, and even experienced turbulence I'm not going to tell you too much because I don't want to ruin the experience. When I asked why we were sitting at the bar she said that the reservation was for the bar or the table. A couple that came in after us was immediately sat at a four top table in front of rhe band. There were other tables available and was told that they were for other guests. When I asked why they sat a couple at a four top after us they apologized and said that they could possibly sit us at a table later. I believe that we were not catered to is because we were black. If you are black and thinking about coming to this restaurant please look elsewhere.

(I've had some pretty lousy food lately - yes, that's you, CLT). Everything I tried was great. The brisket was a standout. The lemon cake was quite worthy of its calories. There was only one bartender so the bar line was a little long but the pours were generous and the specialty drink, the layover, was worth the wait. The only issue wasn't the lounge's fault though they could do something about it. Children. Screaming. Running amok. Screaming. It's 100% the parent's fault but a quiet reminder (or, better yet, a threat) from the manager may have calmed things down a bit. Perhaps a family room could be added. The PHX Centurion Lounge is a step above many of the other clubs. It's definitely worth a visit.

Their food when they have the right selection is always good. Their bar is always the best for free drinks and cocktails. On the downside they need some maintenance on the place and they need to stop overselling capacity. Bathroom only had one functional sink and they lack automated soap dispensers. Recommendations: Raise the minimum fee to over 100k a year on spend and charge 50 dollars per additional person. It will also help clean up some freeloaders who only have this card for frequent traveler perks and help subsidize the costs. Also get some showers in this location so those who have flights delayed for more than 3 hours can shower and avoid smelling like they havent showered in days.
