This place isn't very beginner-friendly. Many of our shots didn't register in the system likely because they weren't hit far or high enough (we were on the ground level). It made for a pretty frustrating experience, but I'm sure if you're a regular golfer you'd have a better time. The food was really average. The cheese pull from the pizza was insaneee but it was just so dense I got sick of it. It was massive though, so good value for those who enjoys deep dish. We took it home and it last a week :) The nachos were pretty standard, can't go wrong with them! The service was good & food came out fast. When we visited, the heaters were on high.. and it felt uncomfortably hot above our heads. At least it kept us warm!! This place wasn't too crowded. I came here for an after-work social outing with my department. My first time coming to 390 Golf Experience. We all had a good time and satisfied with the service. My boss ordered all the appetizers on the menu for us to share. We also ordered a few rounds of cocktail drinks as well. The food and drinks were pretty good. We had a nice seating on the rooftop. The view was much better. I had a lot of fun on this outing with my work crew. We played 3 rounds of golf while we enjoyed ourselves. Eating, drinking, laughing and having a great time. The old Top Golf was replaced by 390 Golf Experience and so far, the experience is just as fun! They both use the TopTracer launch monitor technology that tracks your club and ball stats, which is a must have for any kind of golf simulation venue. Top Golf had an automated ball system, whereas 390 Golf has buckets where you manually place them on the mat and tee, which I prefer so you can move along more quickly with each shot. I have never had a bad experience here. I'd rather come here than top golf anyway . Food is better. Staff are more personable.The rental clubs are mostly better. And it's cheaper . Being able to play at a faster pace with buckets of balls. Rather than wait for each individual ball is so much better read more

Wonderful experience! Had been here years ago when it was Top Golf and although I enjoyed it, the prices kept me from coming back. Very happy the Wood Dale Park District took it over and made the cost more reasonable, but still a great experience! We were able to get an upstairs bay, which is a little more fun if you get the chance to choose. All the staff were above and beyond helpful, I was very impressed! read more

The name "390" comes from the expressway that is next to it. Should have called it "360" instead. Everything was completely opposite of what we were told and expecting We registered and explained that we weren't sure if we would need 2 or 3 hours. 2 employees both stated that we should pay for the 2 hours and if more time is needed, it could be added. WRONG. At the 2 hour mark,they came and told us that we had to leave and no additional time could be added. Claiming that they now had a reservation for the bay we were in. Happy Hour prices end at 6 pm, server had conveniently disappeared until 6:05, and then notified us it was too late for the specials. Terrible experience. We even had to track someone down to get another bucket of balls. They backtracked on their statements and made sure we missed out on the happy hour specials. Didn't feel welcomed so no reason to go back. read more

What used to be one of the first Top Golf's in the region, 390 Golf Experience is now owned by the Wooddale Park District on the same property. I played here when it was Top Golf and it was a great time but pricey. 390 is surprisingly inexpensive with no loss of quality in service or dining experience. At the time of this review, a bay for up to 6 people is only $16/hour weekdays and a little more expensive on weekends. That's amazing compared to what Top Golf used to charge. The game is different now, however. You no longer hit the ball into assorted pits in the ground to rack up points. Now the technology is more ball-tracking based and you have a choice of up to ten games that track your ball once hit to score points. Games such as Longest Drive, Virtual Golf Course, or a cool Fishing Game are now your choices which are fun but does require a bit more skill just based on the technology. The food is still on point (I heard the food service is owned by Crazy Pour which is very good) and relatively inexpensive. The service is friendly as well. They still make a mean Arnold Palmer. If you are looking for a fun, inexpensive group activity try out 390. If you remember this place as Top Golf come back and try it out again. You will not have a long wait or the typical crowds like you would at Top Golf Naperville or Schaumburg. Oh, and the heaters still work as well. A must for Fall/Winter Chicagoland outdoor activity. read more

The worse golfing experience I've ever had. Was there 15 minutes before leaving. Ordered food and when it came out the sandwich was deconstructed, meaning all toppings were on the side. The waitress (Lisa) didn't bother to bring napkins, plates or silverware so this was inconvenient considering we're touching rental clubs that was dirty, old and broken. I refuse to eat with my hands even though I'm sure she wanted that. I requested she bring napkins and silverware in a polite manor. She then returns with the items and throw them at us. it was clear she wasn't happy to serve black people. I asked to speak with a manager (Spence) and upon explaining my disappointmenting Service I was met with a stone cold unconcerned face, he didn't once take accountability for his employee, apologize for the rude service. I told him it's obvious black people aren't welcome at his establishment if you can't serve with rrespect. We will never revisit nor support a racist establishment such as this one and you shouldn't either! read more

A super nice facility...not crowded on week days. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The game choices are plentiful. The games could use some extra user-friendly instructions for first timers. The bays are quite spacious and the background music isn't too loud. All in all a nice way to practice your sport or just hand with peeps. read more

People working the front desk are rude and not helpful. Had a 4pm reservation, showed up 10 minutes early, was told to wait til 4:15pm. When asked why, was not given any reasonable explanation nor could they move us to empty bays for others that were also had a 4pm reservation but had not checked in yet. No eye contact from anyone at front desk. Did not get a text when bay was ready, had to wait in line again to check in. Once we got bay, we were told that someone would bring a bucket of balls in. Nope. Didn't happen. We ended up grabbing a bucket that was laying around. Top tracer was locked, had to go downstairs, wait in line again, for them to turn it on.
