Dr. Rajpal was GREAT in our initial conversations. Usually you get Physios that want payment first before sharing any knowledge with you but I follow Dr. Rajpal on Twitter and have been coming across his insightful videos and diagnosis for well known sports injuries so I thought Id give it a go and Message him about an issue Ive been having for years! I grew up playing in a professional Soccer Academy and was a promising young player, however, at the age of 13 I tore my ACL and meniscus in a big training scrimmage vs the U18 team. I had my Meniscus surgery within 6 months but I had to wait 2 years for the surgery due to growth plate concerns and once I got my surgery I went straight into Physiotherapy but the issue was they never really helped me grow or strengthen my muscles. They gave me a plan and left me to my own devices and just "supervised" me. This lead to me putting constant tension on my joints, ligaments and tendons for the next 5 years as I thought I was doing everything right. Fast forward after spending years of doing 5x5 strength training, plyos etc and playing a year in a D1 College Soccer program, I came back home and started to feel excruciating pain in my Patellar Tendon. Couldnt walk up 3 steps without being in pain and it impacted my ability to work(lots of standing around for hours). I visited a Physio(Former Professional team's Phsyio) and he diagnosed it as Patellar Tendonitis so we had a few sessions and he gave me a few exercises(no plan at all) that would help build my muscles up slowly. I did it for months and it wasnt working. I then had a period where I wasnt going to the gym or doing much for about 18 months and recently have been getting rid of my depression and getting active again. Low and behold, a few weeks into playing Soccer my Patellar started to flare up again every time I kicked the ball. Pain was the worst Ive ever had whenever I fully extended my knee after kicking the ball with power. So I thought Id go out on a limb and hope Dr. Rajpal would respond to me and not only did he respond but he was kind enough to send me exercises and a PLAN(FINALLY) within the hour before I had even confirmed to pay for a consultation. All exercises were linked to videos showing what I need to do specifically. Very happy that I decided to contact him and I will be working with him closely over the next few months to get back to the level I was once at. He seems very invested in my recovery as well which definitely gave me confidence that he is the right guy to move forward with my rehab! read more

After recently attending an ankle/foot pain class conducted by Raj (and being impressed) I visited him at 3CB for an initial evaluation. I have various foot and ankle issues which he carefully paid attention to and evaluated. Prior to this, I had seen doctors and a physical therapist, but Raj showed me certain deficiencies that these other practitioners had not mentioned and had not prescribed treatment for. After the evaluation, I received a written follow-up that contained an exercise program I use to mend my injuries and as I progress, to further strengthen my foot and ankle. Also, when I expressed concerns about the tension between too much and too little exercise after an injury, he gave me four specific questions to ask myself to assess whether I needed to temporarily stop or whether I was ready proceed to the next level. He is also available for follow-up questions. I highly recommend Raj and plan to visit him again in the near future for a strengthening and conditioning program for my entire body. read more

We are so lucky to have found Dr. Rajpal Brar at 3CB Performance in Valencia. My father had and mini stroke last December leaving him with weakness in his right leg. We were given a recommendation to go to Dr. Raj through our Neurologist describing him to have a lot of experience with weakness in the legs. Dr. Raj did not disappoint, he is amazing. You can tell he genuinely cares for his patients. He's so knowledgeable and always has a great attitude. The facility is always very clean and he is very nice and friendly. My father has become stronger in the affected leg and I couldn't be happier. Even though our time with him has run out due to insurance, Dr. Raj has given us written exercises that my father can do at home to continue his physical therapy at home. I had been dealing with a chronic tendon injury over the last several years, and had seen 2 Physical Therapists before this. I was still in pain almost every day until I reached out to Dr. Brar, asking about his experience with chronic tendinopathy. After my first session with him I already had a better understanding of what went wrong and what it takes to heal tendons. We put me on an exercise program and we met once a week for several months. I started making progress immediately, had a couple set backs that were my fault, and then made more progress. He was there the entire way, answering questions via text or email, giving me modifications of exercises when need be, and encouraging me to keep going. I highly recommend him both for his expertise and for his methods and style- he comes across as invested in your recovery as you are and getting you back to where you need to be. read more

Dr. Raj is awesome and I highly suggest coming to him if you have any concerns. The thing that I believe differentiates him from the rest is I feel like he really cares. He's not just doing this for money or fame. He genuinely cares about making people better to improve their lives and you can tell that immediately. He's willing to work with you however you need to hit your end goal and I very much appreciate how he has helped me in my recovery journey. After discussion of my shoulder problems we were able to develop a specific plan to help rehab my shoulder and the plan is working wonderfully. Dr. Rajpal Brar has been a true blessing in my life. As an athlete suffering from recurring severe ankle sprains and lots of pain, Dr.Brar has rehabbed me back to full strength and gave me the confidence to continue playing basketball. Dr. Raj is a great PT. I've had really bad IT band issues, but after working with him for a few months, I'm in a much better place. I have much better strength in my legs and don't feel daily pain now. He's very knowledgeable and showed me exercises that were designed to be progressive, starting out with what I could tolerate and increasing gradually to build strength and improve balance. The treatment plan he created was very personalized and comprehensive. I have come away with a very doable list of exercises to help me maintain the progress that we made and if I need PT help in the future I will definitely reach out to him. I saw Dr. Raj for some recurring knee pain that's been bothering me for 6 months. I had been avoiding seeing a doctor because I have always felt disappointed by the lack of clear answers and advice. I had a knee replacement in January. I went to Raj because a friend of mine recommended him. All I can say is Wow! Dr. Raj provided me with comprehensive upper and lower body warm ups for my weightlifting sessions and they have helped tremendously. Prior to using these plans, I improvised how I was going to warm up on the spot, which lead to a strain in my back. Dr. Raj is a master of his craft, he gives you a comprehensive package for taking care of the complicated joints and muscles. The exercises he prescribes are simple and challenging yet make a lof of difference. The isometric holds for the patellar tendons helped me a lot and are exercise I didn't hear from other physical therapists. I met with Dr. Rajpal a few months ago to get some advice about what I thought was a slipped disk in my lower back. After running thorough a range of diagnostic movements he let me know I didn't have a disk problem at all but instead irritation of the spinous process, which was a tremendous relief.
