We sent my girlfriend's daughter to this place to learn 'the trade' in Lashes, Nails, and Hair. She was crazy excited, and she had a friend that was about to start there as well. It was a NIGHTMARE from START to (VERY EARLY) FINISH. There is ZERO STRUCTURE, no formal guidance or curriculum, and if you have a question about ANYTHING, there is never anyone to take a LIVE CALL. (You can CERTAINLY 'sign up' for school though!) They tried to start her with another class that had already been going for THREE WEEKS! (Their excuse was 'we always start students with the 'current class', even if they are 3, 4, or even 6 'modules ahead', and then 'go back' and cover the 'introductory first modules' after they completed the track. She got sick around the 3rd week and called in (so she wouldn't get everyone else sick) and the NEXT DAY they DROPPED HER and told her she had to start ALL OVER AGAIN. (Her friend got dropped as well because they changed the schedule TWO DAYS before the scheduled class, they ONLY updated their website - they did NOT contact any students, and those who 'missed' were also dropped and made to start again.) LONG, AGONIZING, STORY SHORT - we paid over $1500 in 'fees' ($1000 of that was a 'deposit' for labs and course materials). She was only there 4 WEEKS. NEVER received any 'course materials', and when asked to refund the $1000 Deposit, they said they would (back last NOVEMBER) the next week. 45 calls later (where messages were left with either a LIVE PERSON or on recording), they have NEVER RETURNED ONE CALL! We are now in the process of contacting the Better Business Bureau as well as an attorney. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS TO THIS SCHOOL!! IT'S A SCAM!!! read more

Really bad experience at the Forney location. My lash tech should not be working on clients because she clearly did not know what she was doing. My eyes burned the entire time. When she was finally done and had me open my eyes, it felt like I had 1000 eyelashes in my eyes. It was so painful. I immediately had them remove them. Even the instructor had to apologize. Wasted three hours of my time and they don't do refunds only credit to come back. Why would I ever come back though after that traumatic experience. Wish I could give zero stars. I went here on a whim as I needed my nails done. I will say the tech who did my nails, she did a great job and I've gotten so many compliments on them, as she looked at a pic I showed her and was determined to get it right. However, as far as the business themselves, I feel that overall it was fine but lacked some professionalism with the way it was run. WORSE PLACE EVER!!!! Do not attend classes there! I paid $1000.00 for my daughter to start her cosmetology program. I got injured and my daughter had to take a leave of absence to help me. During this time Texas Workforce had approved to pay 100% grant for my daughter to attend the school. No one would call them back so that grant could be given. (sever dyslexia is a disability btw) We looked on the site to see when the next class began. So we had planned to send her back (even though she said the actual cosmetology teacher was extremely unwilling to be helpful). My daughter finally got a call saying you missed the return date. She told them she had look on the site to see when that would be. It was stated the site was different than it would be for her. (How about some communication??) Again, they still have not called Texas Workforce back at this time so they could get the grant. I've made numerous calls and sent an email to "Warren" even though Amy is the owner. I was told that Warren would get back to me within 2 days. Well, you guessed it no response. I've tried to call a few more time and my email was never replied to. As of today, I have made a report with the Better Business Bureau. Do NOT for the sake of sanity and respect go to this place. 11 months I have been trying to get answers. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. One of my mentors who's the most wonderful woman wanted to get her lashes done. I remember last year the day before her birthday. She had an appointment and she had told me how they called her to let her know all of a sudden they're not going to be open that day. Despite that she decided to give them another shot to get her lashes done today. When she got there not only was it closed, but when she called, they told her they were closed despite the confirmation emails that she received. I don't know if they realize she has a heavy social media presence or that she mentors a lot of people, especially women who take her recommendations, but I can tell you for a fact, I will never be trying them out. She took time off of work just to be there for their website to say that they're open and for her to receive confirmation emails just to waste gas. Absolutely ridiculous you guys should be ashamed. This was the absolute worst set of lashes I've ever had done. when I first layed down the girl was so nervous she was shaking. I started chatting with her to kind of put her at ease, but when I asked her how long she had been doing lashes she told me two months. I had no idea it was a school but I'd already paid for it and I wasn't going to just leave before she even started. I just got a refill and it ended up taking her over an hour and a half and she didn't even put that many lashes on. I asked for the fullest ones they had but I didn't get that. plus there were gaps on both eyes. normally a refill would take around 30 minutes and they'd be a lot thicker that that with no gaps. at one point she was so scared she whispered to another girl to come back and help her. and I paid $55 dollars for this. and they say a bunch of them already fell out. I understand when people are new at this, but they should be practicing on one of their friends or fellow employees. at least until you understand it and know what you're doing. And I tried to call to talk to somebody about it and they don't even bother to answer. Bad choice. Dont ever go there! read more

If I could give 3D Lash & Brow 0 stars I would!! I was enrolled as a Cosmetology student at 3D March 2021-June 2021. The staff was very unprofessional and the owner Amy has no business owning and/or operating a place of business. She walks the halls and won't even speak to the students or staff on campus. During my 3 months at the school I saw 5 staff members leave, I went a whole 4 weeks without a cosmetology instructor. The school booked clients for services that I was never taught, shown, or comfortable with, just to get clients in. When I started to question the operation of the school and request the education that I started with (having an instructor/theory/demo) I started to be blocked from all communications with staff and students, I was only allowed to communicate via email with staff. After several meeting and standing up for my education, I was advised by Amy in our last meeting as I quotes her "I needed to brain storm to be professional" she proceeded to tell me that she preferred to transfer me from the program and advised that they couldn't promise to offer me the proper education. I was lucky enough to actually be released with all of my hours (3D shorted reporting my hours properly to TDLR) After being released they attempted to say I still owed money, but I knew that was a lie. I requested a full refund of the tuition that I paid to the school due to their lack of, and I haven't heard from the school since. I have filed a complaint with TDLR in regards to this school. DO. NOT. ATTEND. THIS. 'SCHOOL'. PLEASE DO NOT LET THESE FIVE STAR CLIENT DISCOUNT REVIEWS CONFUSE YOU. This is the absolutely worst 'school' of all time. The kit is not worth $400, most of the stuff in there I recognize from Amazon and are barely more than $10 each item. Most of my classmates didn't receive necessary kit items for weeks. Some, not until the classes were OVER. The tuition should be $0 because you're not going to get anything you were promised only them being so unprofessionally disorganized you have to keep track of your hours yourself and save every single assignment you do to make sure the video doesn't just disappear somehow, (even though you completed it months ago), losing your work in general, losing your hours, NEVER UPDATING HOURS WHEN THEY SAY THEY WILL, always two or even three weeks late being reported to TDLR, adding practicals or assignments last minute sneakily, changing important dates constantly, forgetting your interviews or appointments, not answering emails or phone calls for a week, rude instructors, the online classes were a literal JOKE. You couldn't see anything they were doing on screen. It was supposed to be eight weeks, I haven't even graduated yet and was enrolled in September. I don't know if they get extra funding for keeping you longer but there's definitely a scheme going on and I'll be talking to TDLR and filing a dispute. All the fun and excitement about finding a new career path was sucked out by the stress and constant need to hold the school accountable. No one ever has the right information or even the same information either. Or they just 'don't know'. The front office ladies are the ones I've spoke to the most. This has been the worst experience I've ever had and my tuition was paid in full at the very beginning. They had no reason to be this useless. I don't even feel like I could make money off the 'education' they provided. They need to be shut down. I'm not even being hyperbolic, this place is a literal SCAM. If you want to be gaslit and ignored, this is the school for you. It makes me really sad thinking about how this school is taking advantage of people who are obviously just trying to better their financial state. Absolutely so wrong. What an absolute waste of my life. Six months down the drain. I should've quit the first day when the instructor told the online students that we should probably be on campus for a hands on course if we can't see what the instructors doing on our screens, pretty much setting the tone for how the rest of the time would be. Please, please, please don't risk it. It's not worth it. On top of that, the henna and brow threading is like two classes and apparently that's good enough for you to be certified in. I am absolutely livid! I spent 2 1/2 + hours on a table to get subpar lashes done. I asked for cat eye lashes and got classic with my lashes falling out within less of 2 hours. I typically pay $165-200 for my lashes, so I was shocked that the price was low, but I see why. Pricing does correlate to quality. I do not blame the lash tech because she is in training and fairly new; I blame the person who pairs clients with their tech. There were several other more qualified/skilled lash techs who could've done the job, but you guys decided to pair me with a student who has never done or perfected cat eyes. Those two hours I wasted could've went towards me getting other stuff done and preparing for my flight. What's crazy is the girl next to me lashes came out great and she got there later than I did and still came out the same time as I did. I probably won't be coming back here, despite the facial service being great. I wasted over $50 in LYFT coming here, but I guess this is a trial and error lesson. On to the next. And, I wanted to give the girl a tip after service, but I can't give extras for something I loathe.
