Wait staff was very friendly and helped with recommendations. Appetizers came out pretty quickly. We ordered the brisket nachos to start and IDK if we were just all starving or what.. but those nachos really hit the spot! It was a table favorite for sure. It was also a big portion. Mains took a while. Hubby and I split a rack of ribs and and an order of wings. Wings were okay. For the price, I thought it would've came with some carrots/celery.. but it did not. The ribs were a legit rack though. It also came with a side of fries, slaw and pickles. Ribs were tasty. I also added a side of gumbo. The gumbo was meh. I don't think I will order that next time. Kids ordered mostly Mac n cheese with a side of fruit. One ordered the cheeseburger with a side of fries. Kids ate all of their fruit and just some of their Mac; the one with the cheeseburger finished all of her food. The kids meals did not come with drinks. Overall, we left full. Service was great. Music was good. Kids were a different story. Since we were a party of 5+, everyone was put on one bill and gratuity automatically added. They are also a non-cash establishment.. which is kind of weird since it's in a casino. But just a heads up. I would definitely come back if I or friends were staying here. I don't think I would go out of my way to come dine here specifically though.

But it was no warmer than 60 degrees on the main floor. Maybe colder. I get that it's 110 degrees outside but I'd rather be in that heat for three hours than freezing my freaking ass off. My friends agreed they were chilled to the bone. The cheap folding chairs (I mean... have you seen the ticket prices? REALLY??) added insult to injury.

I feel like this place can be easily missed since the building is all black, but definitely worth stopping in for. Vibes are very dark and intimate, yet lively. I am not sure how to explain it, but I liked it. Lol Somehow you can make a reservation, but I haven't looked into it. There were a bunch of seating against the wall on the couches but they were all reserved. My friend and I ended up at the bar in the "standing room" which was fine! Their seasonal menu is Conspiracy Theory based. I from that menu and my drink was called the Moon Landing Hoax, which was recommended to me but pretty strong in my opinion. I will say that the aesthetic of the drink was super cool with the astronaut. My friend ordered from their regular menu. She enjoyed her Repo Espresso Martini and she would order that again! All in all, I still like this bar a lot! I would come back again.

We were sat at a super cute table (there were 4 of us) and looked through the menu. The decor was super cute! Sort of old vintage looking couches around some tables, dim lighting, I loved the vibe. We each ordered something different from their cocktail menu from our very nice server. While waiting for those, our friend went to close out the tab and ordered shots, but asked for something that would be good. They proceeded to give us something with muddled strawberries, I was blown away at how good it was! Best shot I have ever had, so fresh. I love when you give bartenders freedom to play and create something so good! Our cocktails were so interesting and very tasty. I'd love to come back when we have some more time and try some of the other drinks. Everything about this place was amazing to me! Vibe, staff, the drinks, I had a great time!

Located right on Fremont St, Backstage Bar & Billiards is a venue I went to a couple of times when I lived in Las Vegas. I've seen bands like Letter Kills and Maylene and the Sons of Disaster as well as the likes of Cryptopsy and Abysmal Dawn. The last show I went to at the venue was said Maylene and the Sons of Disaster show in what I believe was May of 2024 (I'm catching up on venue reviews). The venue itself is a decent enough size and mostly consists of standing room only, though a few chairs for what I assume is ADA are usually lined up against the wall. The sound here was always solid enough and I don't have any complaints over that and the merch area was tucked away enough in the back that it didn't get in the way of the show itself. Overall, Backstage Bar & Billiards is a solid little venue that consistently has pretty decent shows. The staff here always did what they needed to do, and my only real complaint is that I wasn't able to score Green Day tickets here when they did that special show, but either way, it's a solid enough venue.

The live music was amazing. It's too bad this band seems to only perform once or twice a year. Highly recommend them! As for the food - everyone is asked to buy at least $25 worth of food, and I would've paid that just to watch the band so it was a bonus. The food itself though is nothing to rave about. I got a $15 small piece of miso black code hand roll with some vinegar sugar rice wrapped in soy paper. I could've made it at home. The Japanese Mille crepe was decent, and I think not bad for the price. I wish they sold non alcoholic fun drinks (mocktails). I would've spent it on that and a dessert. Outside of the food being average and overpriced, the service was excellent! Our server was so diligent and always refilled our waters whenever it went down. I'd come back if any shows interested me but wouldn't go just for food.

Places I forgot to review when I lived in Las Vegas: Brooklyn Bowl…read more Brooklyn Bowl was both one of my favourite music venues in Las Vegas and one of the places I least wanted to go thanks to it's location. Originally when I first started coming here, parking was a huge issue on my mind and it definitely made me come here less, before I discovered that you could get parking validated at the little shop before you leave and that was a total game changer. The venue itself is pretty massive once you get on the main floor, and if you don't feel like standing during bands you don't care for, you can even chill on some nice chairs and watch on TV screens. Now, I can't actually comment on the bowling or food aspect of this place, but you can bowl for an insane amount of money that is definitely not worth it, as well as order some food which I simply never bothered to do. Throughout the years I've seen artists such as Poppy, The Gaslight Anthem, The Ghost Inside, Hatebreed, and many others and the sound here has always been pretty top notch. I no longer call Las Vegas home, but shows are one of the things I would definitely find myself back for so who knows, I might just return here one day and I look forward to that. Overall, Brooklyn Bowl is a great venue in a cool spot right on the Lynq Promenade. The staff here has always been friendly, parking is plentiful, there's tons of food options, and since it's mostly either here or the House of Blues, most music fans will end up here at some point!

It has a very relaxed vibe.. order at the bar, find a seat, sing along! I'm used to karaoke bars that have private rooms, but it's an experience seeing people sing in front of the crowd! My husband and I shared a huge fishbowl cocktail that was deliciously dangerous, but the unexpected star of the show were their fries! I've never seen a potato cut like that and it's something I've never seen - imagine a potato wedge spiral that's not too thick, perfectly crunchy. We got the Parmesan truffle one and the sauce was so good! Cheese curds were also good! Some notes I picked up on.. it looks like you can reserve tables, bathrooms are the public restrooms outside, and it turns into 21 and older after 10 pm. On the Saturday night that we went, they had regular karaoke on stage with the song's music, then they switched over to karaoke with a live band which was pretty cool! We'll definitely be back.. still thinking about those fries!

Honestly, my closest interaction with this restaurant prior to our actual dining experience was playing the slot machines in front of the restaurant so I could listen to the live bands/singers they had. Hahaha! We were a party of 10, and we all loved our experience. Of course, one of the contributing factors was our server, Bryson, who did an amazing job with our large group. He was friendly, funny and just really awesome at his job. With a group of 10, I think we probably had the entire menu, and everything we had was so YUMMY. Apps: BBQ Nachos with Brisket, Spinach-Artichoke Dip, Loaded Fries with Pork, and Crispy Brussels Sprouts - all delicious! Entrees: Voodoo Shrimp, Shrimp and Grits, Cajun Chicken Pasta with Shrimp added, NY Steak & Fries, Pulled Pork Sandwich, with add-ons of salad, and gumbo. We all thoroughly enjoyed our dishes and definitely left with full bellies. Dessert: Get the bread pudding. And don't share. It's THAT good.
