Everything about this one is cute from the pocket bar to the yankee stadium sign to the black and white motif. They carry the staples, Katz coffee, rainbow cookies, and more. I'm not going to speak of their espresso coffee machine bc...I guess I've become a bit of a coffee snob, but I've now visited on 2 occasions and feel comfortable speaking to the bagels. The sesame is fine with lox cream cheese, and the lox sandwich on onion was a filling breakfast. I additionally tried the chocolate pastry, and while they were kind enough to warm it for me, I likely would not order it again. It resembles a pain au chocolat if you compressed all of the fluffy, flaky layers. I came at the best time, because right after I ordered a steady and I mean steady hoard of locals arrived. They seem to stay busy! The couple who ordered after me, did receive their order before me and I felt somewhat unwelcome (still not sure what it was my first visit), but my second visit was fine. They make one HELL of a bagel here! My go-to is the breakfast sandwich with sausage and egg with cheese on a French toast or Cinnamon Crunch bagel! Little salty with the sweet, CANNOT be beat!! Docked one star because sometimes in the earlier hours they're a little too chatty and don't move through customers fast enough. I keep that in mind now, I just go 10 mins earlier when I want to grab something before heading into work. Everything is made to order so it's nice and hot when you get it too. According to their staff, there are 4 locations around the Houston area. This one is fairly new. I was going to go to subway, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to get a nice NY bagel sandwich instead. Has the vibe of a small moment and pop store. I ordered their chicken salad sandwich and had to order my mom her tuna sandwich on her favorite onion bagel. Located close to Memorial Hermann Hospital (Cypress) it is a great spot to pick up food for your loved ones so they don't have to eat the horrendous food they serve you at the hospital. We LOVED the food. Reminds my mom of a nice new York bagel she loves and misses. Would definitely recommend for all of you bagel fanatics. Solid hot coffee too. read more

I try to patronize your business, because I'm from New York so when I see a bacon egg and cheese, bagel or on a roll I'm extremely happy, so yesterday at approximately 12 o'clock, I came in for a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel but had I known I would only get one piece of bacon an entire sandwich , I would've opted out for nothing. Got there right at 8 as I was commuting to work. Friendly greeting instantly, plenty of time to review the menu, and customize existing options. Very fair and honestly lower prices for a good bagel. Quick service, bagel out and hot within 3 minutes or so. No nonsense place, very efficient. Coffee was superb too, grab the Texas (something) blend with notes of Pecan. Whoa. My only experience with NY bagels is Russ & Daughters from 1 tourist trip to NYC, so I had high hopes maybe this would be close. And it was as close as Texas can get. I got the Sunrise Meat sandwich with bacon on a plain bagel. The bagel was one of the best. Perfect amount of chew, not too crusty, not too fluffy. It was dense and filling while at the same time easy to chew down. (Most bagels make my jaw pop as I chew, and there was none of that here.) The eggs and bacon seemed like good quality too, which can be a hit or miss at bagel shops. My husband got the lox with chive schmear and said it was the best version he'd had west of New Jersey. They have a selection of Katz coffee, which was piping hot. The staff were so nice even with our larger group. They were patient with questions and customizations, and the food came out quickly. When we left they waved and wished us a nice day. So nice to meet cheery people that helped us relax as we prepped for a busy day! The dining room is small but cozy. It was nice to have DIY network playing on the back tv when conversation got a little slow. Chairs were comfy and the tables were spacious. We don't live near 4 Brothers but I will certainly make the 45-minute drive more often for this level of quality and service! read more

I know they are busy and new but the past 3 times I've stopped by has taken almost 20 min for a breakfast sandwich so makes it almost not worth stopping in unless you want to sit down and spend a lot of time here. read more

***Food handling issues and very long wait times. This bagel shop has a lot to offer, yet Basic food handling fails are outweighing the good for me. Both are Training related (not age): Explanation: 1. Food handling: Handling money then using 1 used glove to grab bagels & open the brown bag is Unacceptable to me. I don't want other people's dirt on my food. There was an issue with money at the register not being put in the right place, so I stood there and waited while dollars and coins were placed here & there. Then I witnessed the staff member put on a used glove to get my order. *** It appears their practice to Re-use gently used Gloves because these Gloves line the counter - clearly used. Assuming that was the most gently used glove on earth, the staff member's bare other hand was all over the coins & bills & now handling my bagels. 2. Service: Long wait times. Not a deal breaker, but for some customers in a hurry - maybe politely tell customers, "We'll be right with you, etc". As line forms, customer acknowledgment goes a long way especially when staff is chit chatting. Even when the money concern was being handled - no one said anything to me as I patiently waited. I've been in 4 times in a week & not once did various staff address wait time or the long line. A simple "I'll be right with you" can calm those in a hurry and it's basic courtesy. I originally gave a 1 star because food handling issues are very important to me BUT the algorithms used dropped the score for this business ridiculously low. I'm not in control of that. Wish there was a way to give honest reviews but not kill their rating. So while the food handling is a concern, there is a lot of good going on at this shop too. Hence why I give 3 stars. I hope food handling is resolved and becomes a priority. Ambiance: I recommended this shop on 1st visit to Fam & friends because the: * bagels are delicious * coffee is fresh & piping hot, so important * staff is friendly When they finally get to you * shop is Clean * plenty of tasty meal options I wish them luck. Ok, so the bagels are fabulous. Jalapeno-cheddar is top notch. The breakfast bagel sandwich is so good! Add the loaded cream cheese, and it's so good it brings a tear to my eye. And this shop specifically is so close to me, a less than 10 minute walk from my house. Perfect! But... here is the reason they are getting only 4 stars from me. Currently, if I want one of these divine bagels, there are only 2 ways for me to get one. Walk into the location and order in person- which I do occasionally. OR, their Facebook page instruct us to call them to order. I would rather scrape my bare bum across hot pavement than talk to someone on the phone. If I could order online and pick up without speaking to anyone, I would hit this place up daily. But as it is, I will continue to stop in when I have enough will to live to endure social interactions. And sometimes even when I don't, because the food really is that good. read more

Amazing bagels!! I went in today to try this place for the first time. I got an Asiago Bagel with hot honey Jalepeno cream cheese. It was so good! Perfect balance of sweet, spicy and savory. The bagel itself was perfectly chewy yet soft. I will definitely be back to try their breakfast sandwiches!! The service was great, I wish I got the lady's name that took care of me but she was so friendly. The shop is well kept and actually more spacious than I would've realized.
