It was flavorless with little contrast of textures. They applied a paper-thin layer of onion and chive cream cheese. This is whole new low level of miserly cheapness. What should have been an early morning food-gasm was completely worthless and devoid of any taste. The cheddar cheese, eggs, and bacon on a plain bagel reminded me of warmed up hospital food. There should have been some kind of sauce. A hollandaise or a salsa would have been a nice breath of life. Even, just a few dashes of Tabasco or Cholula, or Crystal's hot sauce would be nice. This location can be hit or miss. My go-to is the Texas Brisket Egg Sandwich, but I sub the standard bagel for the cheesy hashbrown bagel . This location isn't all that close to me & if my order were done right more consistently, I'd make the journey more often. It tends to be busy, so I can't tell if it's a byproduct of heavy foot traffic or if it's this location. This place is clearly trained to be quick and that's it. They don't care about getting orders right and making the order look presentable. Speed comes at cost of getting orders wrong and crappy prepared orders. Slow and steady wins the race. I honestly don't understand how there can be 16 employees behind the counter but they CAN NOT get an order correct. Two simple requests in an order of a normal bagel sandwich. Incorrect bagel, not toasted, and no sauce.. the sandwich comes with sauce! I also specifically asked for normal eggs on a sandwich and got egg whites.. I told the guy like 3 times. I'd been to this location a couple of times before without issue, but this last visit really showed me exactly why so many recent reviews have been hovering in the two star range. We stopped by here on Saturday morning to meet up with some colleagues for a morning breakfast meeting. Naturally, the line was long, almost out the door, and ended up being out the door for the majority of the time they were operating. The staff seemed ample and hustling, but they must have been short staffed, because nothing was getting done out front. The napkin dispensers were perpetually empty, the trash bins were overflowing, the drink station was filthy, and we had to wipe down a couple of tables to sit at. When I finally made my way through to the front of the line and placed my order, they got one of the items wrong (overcharging me in the process), but I didn't see it until I got to the second station to pay and saw my receipt. When I notified the cashier, she promptly went over to one of the food prep areas, notified them of the correct order, and told me everything was taken care of, as if they didn't just overcharge me. I notified her that if I wasn't going to get a refund, just give me what I was incorrectly charged for, so they ended up doing that instead. They clearly had no interest in doing the right thing for the customer. I was told the OJ was in the cooler, which apparently is just a term, because everything in that cooler was at room temperature. Drinking OJ with ice is odd, but it's better than drinking OJ at room temp. While we were sitting, I heard at least three other customers comment about how their orders were wrong, ranging from something simple like "we said to go, not for here" to "this isn't even what I ordered." The terrible service and inaccuracy doesn't seem to be hindering the crowds, but then again, most of them are grab and go types who probably don't even realize their order is wrong until they're in their car and out of the parking lot. read more

They have some good reviews and some poor reviews. There is a reason they have only 3 stars. It is a lack of customer service and/or customer service training. When an order is wrong, the people behind the counter are responsible, not the customer. When an order is wrong, it's the customer who is inconvenienced, more so than the staff. The bagel bins are clearly labeled (at least on the front side of the counter). It's really not that hard to grab the bagel the customer requested, slice it, toast it, and shmeer it with cream cheese. Is working an early morning shift hard? Yes. All the more reason to focus on better customer service. read more

Now there is another lady bringing out orders and she seems so confused, so know so go what. 6/2020 update: I want to support local businesses because the economy is hurting. No shade to EBB but with the new COVID situation the manager needs to enforce front of the house staff to wear masks. Manager was present and he popped in the front for 2secs without a mask but that is ok and in compliance with Houston health department but 1 of the four staffers in the front had no mask and was handling bagels in the toaster machine. She is had long red hair and because she is working in the front needs a mask. For her safety as much as the customers.
