Dear Jason Deli Management Team, I am writing to take a moment to recognize someone who deserves to be celebrated not only for providing excellent customer service, but for showing genuine kindness, compassion, and care. For the past six months , I was caring for my mother while she was in hospice, It was one of the most stressful and painful experiences i have ever gone through. As my mother became weaker, she eventually stopped eating, There was very little i could do for her, but there was one thing that could bring a smile to her face; Jason Deli potato soup. That potato soup became became my go-to. No matter how difficult things became, my mother never seemed to get tired of it. I would come into the Jason's Deli at 11081Westheimer Rd to pick it up for her. During that very difficult time, Steve, the manage, always greeted me with a smile and called me by my name, Miss. Sandra. Many times , I would walk through the door almost speechless because of the pain I was carrying inside. Without me having me having to say much, Steve would say something like," I know what you're here for. Let me get that potato soup for you and get it just right". I never really explained to Steve what I was going through . I simply told him the soup was for my mother. My mother passed away about a month ago, and I had not returned to Jason's Deli until week. I has been missing her terrible, and I decided to stop in. although I wasn't even sure what I wanted. when I walked through the door. Steve immediately said, "I haven't seen you a while, Miss. Sandra" still remembering my name, Then he asked, "Are you here for the potato soup?" I told him no, and the I shared with him that my mother had passed away. He was genuinely shocked and immediately expresses his sympathy. He asked, "Miss Sandra, what can I do for you today?" I told him that I hadn't actually come in the potato soup, but decided I would get some in memory of my mother. Steve responded by saying , Miss Sandra , I'm going to take care of you today . This is for you." That simple act of kindness meant more to me than he will probably ever know. Steve may not realize how much his kindness meant to me during one of the hardest periods of my life. He didn't know the depth of what I was going through, yet every time I walked through those doors, he treated me with warmth, dignity, and genuine care. What make this even more special is that I have watched Steve treat everyone this way. I am not the only person who receives his kindness. He greets people as they enter and leaves, remembers customers, and consistently provides the kin of customer service that makes people feel seen and valued. Steve is truly one of a kind, and I believe people like him should be recognized and celebrated. Jason's Deli is blessed to have someone like Steve representing you company. And I feel blessed that, during such a painful chapter in my l had the opportunity to experience his kindness. Please let Steve know how much he is appreciated. Service was not the best the last few visits. This time service was pretty good and the manager walked around to make sure counters and tables were wiped down. The busboy was working hard too. I went on a Sunday and they had decent amount of traffic. Chocolate Mousse was not bad, just not a rich a I prefer, still not bad. Fettuccine Alfredo was pretty tasty and fresh. read more

Review for Jason's Deli 28050 Hwy 290 East Cypress TX. I had two issues yesterday while ordering drive thru. First the employee wasn't sure if I could order a baked potato with turkey, so I ended up not ordering it. Second, I ordered my daughter's usual sandwich which is a croissant with just ham. He questioned it at first but we got it. I believe prices went up again. They charged me $11.46 and what really upset me was that they barely put ham in the sandwich. I had never seen such a small sandwich before. They usually stack it up with ham or turkey. This was a major rip off. read more

Servers not very friendly and the restaurant was a mess. Windows and doors were nasty handprints, floors were even worse looked like nobody had cleaned up from the lunch crowd and majority of the tables had dirty dishes and food all over. And employees standing around talking. I even had to move tables and clean it off myself. Ice cream cone dropped on the floor underneath the table all melted. Wasn't impressed with our experience today. You can do better Jason's. As we were sitting there eating a little girl stuck her finger in something on the salad bar, licked them stuck it back in again. Her mom was on the other side of the salad bar. I visited Jason's deli in Cypress Texas. I really had a tastes for a corned beef sandwich. i googled places for a good corned beef sandwich and Jason's was number one in the search. I've never eaten at the chain so I tried it. The sandwich was underwhelming with little to no taste and the meat was cut super thick. i kinda forced myself to eat the $14 sandwich. in my opinion, if you are looking for a tasty lean corned beef sandwich that can stand on its own with out lettuce, tomato, and cheese. Jason's deli is not the place to look! On the positive side, the employees were extremely nice and the restaurant was very clean and well kept. read more

HE TRIED TO HAVE IT HIS WAY!!! Although they can never get our orders correct, my husband has fancied this particular location for quite some time! I discontinued spending my money here months ago because it just doesn't make any sense at all to make so many mistakes over and over. That's a red flag for me! However, my husband continues to order food from them. I stopped by yesterday to grab a quick bite for my husband. I ordered the California Club Sandwich with no bacon. This request was repeated several times due to the fact they have failed to honor this small request in the past. Sometimes they get it right and other times they do what they want to do and put the bacon on the sandwich anyway. I understand mistakes happen but I thought we are supposed to learn from them. Boy, was I wrong about that! Furthermore, when I received my husband's food, I did not check it to make sure they got it right like I usually do. I assumed they probably had gotten better, but that's my fault for assuming. I should've checked the order before leaving the restaurant. Moreover, when I brought the food to my husband, he was satisfied to see that his guacamole was bright green instead of black and green like in the past. He was also pleased with his salsa because it was fresh this go round instead of the "day old" salsa they have served him previously. However, when he opened his sandwich to find the big piece of pork bacon lying on top, he was highly disappointed. You know me, I looked at him and said, "I don't know why you keep trying to have it your way. This is not Burger King sweetie and you CANNOT HAVE IT YOUR WAY!" Lol, I think I agitated him with that remark, lol. As a result, he ended up picking at the sandwich. Because of the bacon flavor on the sandwich, he was unable to enjoy it. However, he did enjoy the chips with salsa and guac on the side. They got that part correct. Overall, I don't fancy this location at all. Customer service is good sometimes and mediocre at other times. They can never get our orders right. The guy that served me was Lucas. I believe he was agitated with me for consistently repeating the order to make sure they get it right. He probably purposely put the bacon on the sandwich. I didn't stay around to watch them as they prepared the order because I had to utilize the restroom. When I got back, the order was ready. I thanked Lucas for the order and no "have a good day ma'am. Thanks for stopping by." Nothing: No pleasant or friendly response. I gave them one star. Too many consistent mistakes at this location. 2.4.23 We came here a few nights ago (Thursday) because we were in the area. The hubby and I both had the salad bar & 1/2 a sandwich. The salad bar was stocked with great fresh lettuce and veggies. There was a few pasta salads and other already prepared salads to choose from. I don't eat those (tomatoes in them) but hubby said they were good. This location is very prejudice. I walked into the establishment with no greeting. The Hispanic lady and man just looked at me. I had to ask, "Are you ready to take my order?" The lady shook her head "yes." Then an older white couple came through the door and both of the Jason's Deli employees spoke big to them! I asked to speak with the manager. He was no help either. He was indifferent about the employees' behavior. Hubby and I ate at Henderson, NV Jason's Deli #216 on June 9, 2025 at 4:38pm, so not a busy time. We both ordered grilled cheese sandwiches requesting 2 slices of cheese. We're frequent fliers at JD's and order the grilled cheese often and the cheese is usually ooey, gooey and overflowing the bread. This time, we questioned if there was even any cheese on either sandwich when we pulled apart the bread. Wow! What's the point of the bread calories if there's no cheese? Is this JD's attempt to shrink costs while still charging the same? Not sure we'll be back and that totally makes me sad. read more

Not to be confused with Jason's Delhi, which is in India. Not a very good Jason's Deli and they do tend to mess up a lot of things, but some of the service is nice and some of the products are good and healthy. Barbi wanted to give it a four star because she still likes Jason's Deli despite all the times that they have gotten stuff wrong when we've ordered from here, despite their salad bar not being great, and also other locations thatshe likes, but I insisted on lowering it to a three because they are a major chain and they should know better. read more

We came to Jason's to eat lunch, if you read any of my reviews you know I rarely venture out. I struggle with social anxiety and typically order in. I was nervous about going anywhere just because people aren't very nice most places anymore. I used to come her all the time with my mom & other family members. Haven't been in years. We were greeted as soon as we approached the front & offered a menu to have a closer look. We ordered our food & everything was really good. Unfortunately my daughter ordered Mac & cheese and is THE PICKIEST EATER EVER so she didn't like it!! Obviously she wanted box Mac & cheese from home... not used to anything that tastes or looks different. KIDS!!! We tried it & it's actually really good! She's just being a kid. So she tried my Club Royale (highly recommend) & really liked it. We decided we'd go order her a plain turkey sandwich. I'm assuming the person who helped us (Nicholas) was the MOD bc my fiancé came back the table & said that he went to pay for it after he ordered & he said he'd take care of it for us. HE WENT AND MADE IT HIMSELF!! I watched him walk down the line make the sandwich, plain turkey, lettuce, and tomato on a croissant & he brought it out to her. Seriously SOOOO sweet!!! WE WERE READY TO PAY FOR A WHOLE OTHER MEAL, NOT THEIR FAULT AT ALL!! Ours 100%. Made my day, my daughter is currently devouring her sandwich. I honestly didn't want to give the Humble location this one star. This location is slowly losing credibility with me. The last time prior to this visit, over 2 months ago, I came in for the salad bar to go. As I was ordering I saw a worker cleaning with gloves. She went in the back, I made my salad and as I was finishing she came out again and was cleaning the area and around the floor. She proceeded to then clean around the salad bar with those same gloves. YES, I SAID SOMETHING AND MADE A COMPLAINT!! Yesterday, I ordered the spicy Italian sandwich and the salad bar to go. I came home, took a two bites of my sandwich which was heated. I didn't want it heated but no biggie. I tried to eat it later and the bread was so stale I couldn't bite it!! I called the following dayand spoke to a very accommodating manager who offered to replace my sandwich that day. I went back, gave specific instructions on how I wanted my sandwich, only for the person making my sandwich not to follow any of my instructions and had to make the sandwich over TWICE!! I used to love coming here but last week I bought two manager specials and got 2x 3 inch sandwiches, soaked in italian dressing, thrown carelessly and unappetizing in a small container; it couldn't even be pick up and we had to eat with a fork, 5 chips in each bag, the fruit cup was ok. But $25 for that??? And then a Tip option at check out for a counter order to go? I tip for good food and service and not for nothing, before or a counter order, quit normalizing tips before you even get your food, its offensive!!!!! I like their salad bar when it's been cleaned and cared for. My daughter and I go here when we want a salad and soup but it's not super good. They're always nice though and their baked potatoes are good and big. I also like their chicken salad. After a haircut across the street I decided that today would be a lovely day to have a soup and a sammich from Jason's. I'm glad I did. I had Irish Potato soup and a half a sandwich. Stopped for dinner and had the Southwest Chicken Chili and was highly disappointed with my meal.  It arrived lukewarm...not hot.  Decided to forego my meal and have an ice cream cone and then headed to the Men's room to wash my hands.  The door to the Men's room was extremely dirty and smeared but to my surprise it was even worse inside. Everything was so nasty that it looked like it had never been cleaned... or maintained.  I swiftly exited hoping I hadn't picked up anything looking for a free ride out of the squalor. Jason's Deli in Magnolia, TX (32818 FM2978, Magnolia, TX 77354) makes the best muffuletta in Texas and I would say that they also are much better than The Central Grocery, in New Orleans, LA is credited as the home of the original Muffuletta sandwich. For those readers who have never had a Muffuletta sandwich, you are missing out. I lived in New Orleans for many years and Central Grocery used to make a great Muffuletta. However, things change. I discovered that Jason's Deli makes delicious Muffuletta sándwiches and offers them in the traditional Ham and one available made with Turkey (I never tried it) I always go with the Muffuletta sandwich made with ham. Today, I purchased a whole muffuletta sandwich made with ham. Ordered it from the drive-through and requested they put each half in a separate bag and selected BBQ potato chips. It also comes with a kosher dill pickle spear & a bag of potato chips. All for $18.50 out the door. Now, note that 1/4 of the muffuletta was eaten by me for lunch. Hello, My family and I recently visited the Jason's Deli on the corner of Hwy 6 and FM 529. My wife first noticed the restaurant's dirtiness when she went to the restroom. When she saw the large biohazard in the restroom she notified an employee and she was told that someone would clean it immediately. Over the duration of our visit she noticed that an employee never went to the restroom to clean the diarrhea off the floor and wall. My wife never mentioned anything to me during the visit because she was still optimistic, but if she had we would've NEVER eaten there. Afterwards, we concluded that the restaurant's lack of cleanliness extended further from just the restroom because many of the tables were left dirty. We saw one table that was a complete mess, including the floor, and an employee did not clean it until at least 30 minutes after we had sat down. There were employees milling about, so it was not an issue of understaffing. After our visit yesterday we decided that we would NOT be returning. This used to be an establishment that we frequented, but started to visit less often because of its decline in quality, but the lack of cleanliness is what is deterring us from ever returning again. It's disgusting that this previously pleasant restaurant has deteriorated to such a nasty state. I write this message because any business that operates this way should be ashamed of themselves. read more

Love this place!! When I don't want to cook and want fresh , yummy food.. we come here! I always get the salad bar!! Super fresh super delicious.. tons of choices!! I get a bowl full of a little of everything and still don't fit everything! It's so filling I only get the salad. My hubby loves the New York Yankee ( lol he's a Mets fan) pastrami sandwich .. ITS HUGE!! AND...we end with a delicious (complimentary) ice cream cone ! We love it! read more

Ordered two new york yankee sandwiches from this location and when we received it, there was obvious lack of meat because THEY FORGOT TO ADD THE PASTRAMI and honestly the sandwiches had no flavor whatsoever. The corn beef brisket had more fat on it than anything else with the chips being so stale. I mean, are the chips really that old that salt and vinegar chips will the vinegar taste? Only good thing was the pickle. What bums me out the most was that I used to go to this location when I was a kid. I remember it being built the first time in that shopping center and really enjoyed going there almost every weekend after hitting up B&N. After moving back home I was so excited to eat their food again after over a decade but the first time I tried it - obvious major let down and disappointment. We went for a late lunch on July 4th weekend. Seemed to be a fair amount of staff, not many diners. We both ordered muffulettas (he with chili on the side, fruit cup for me). We sat down to wait for our order to be served. After what I considered too long a time to put together a couple of sandwiches, a gracious waitress brought out our orders. Our sandwiches were barely warm as was the chili cup. Sandwiches were VERY dry. Summary is the staff are very friendly, tea and ice cream was very good. We were not that impressed with the food. It was very disappointing for us since it's one of the few indoor restaurant dining we've done since the easing of Covid restrictions. Also our past experience was the Jason's on 1-10 near Gessner where at that time they were serving one half muffuletta, not one quarter. I'm still hungry.
