It looks like they are under new management as "JJs", I guess two Bs will buy you one J. So I'd really like to give a good review and boost the ratings a bit. It was clean, maybe recently remodeled, and service was friendly and fast. Like really fast. However the food was mediocre at best so I had to dock stars. I had biscuits and gravy and there wasn't a hint of actual sausage in the gravy. Hoping they can up the level of sourcing their food and make it a great stop for breakfast. read more

One star because there is no zero. Waited 5 minutes to be seated. Drinks were brought to the table, couple came in (regulars?) and we're served......20 minutes later server still AWOL. We left. These folks really have no clue how screwed up they are. I may never go to a 4Bs again, based on this ridiculously bad experience. read more

The only reason this restaurant gets 2 stars is because our server was great. She was friendly and quick. The food was horrible. We had 6 people in our party and were the only table in the restaurant eating. Everyone else was just drinking coffee...that should have been my first clue. I ordered a ham and Swiss melt with FF. The fries were greasy and cold and the sandwich didn't have the sauce on it that the menu said. The sandwich was very dry and also cold. I ate about a quarter of the sandwich. My husband had country fried steak and his food was also cold. The butter on his toast wouldn't even melt because it had cooled off too much after toasting. My kid who eats just about anything was not happy with her waffle she said it had no flavor even with strawberries. Overall bad food. I don't recommend eating here. read more

The server is amazing. She was here alone and was "on it". The food finally came, my omelette was perfect. The hash browns where undercooked, but tasty. Country Benedict, gravy was WAY to pepperie. Only give 3 stars because of the cook on the potatoes and over easy eggs where way too hard and the coffee is like water. read more

Our meal was not good. My over medium eggs had runny whites, my sausage was burnt on the side that was turned down. We had to ask for part our our order that wasn't delivered. And it is extremely dirty. I love going to places that have been there forever! But I won't be going back here. read more

I actually never heard of this restaurant until my friend insisted we stop by on our road trip to Idaho. 4B's is a small chain that's known for their grilled cheese and tomato soup. The interior of this particular location is similar to that of a Denny's or IHOP's, the menu items are fairly similar as well, including the prices. Since 4B's is known for their grilled cheese and tomato soup, that's exactly what I had! It's even a paired item for $6.99. Tomato soup isn't my 1st choice of soups, but 4B's makes them super tasty. Real tomato chunks are in each bite! The soup's slightly creamy, but not too overwhelming. The grilled cheese went really well with the soup, I was dunking with each bite. Service was fantastic. Art work on the wall available for purchase. This 4B's is old fashioned and I'm a fan! read more

Was in town for a few days, dropping my daughter off at UMW. Ate breakfast here twice and everyone in our party was thrilled with their meals. Country fried steak, pancakes, French toast, all of it was just what you'd expect from a traditional American cafe out west. We got food to go on 7/22/23 and it was delicious and fresh!!! Husband had the clubhouse that was very yummy, meats were fresh, toasted just right, fries were made from real potatoes, just needed a little salt. I got the fish and chips and the fish was fresh not greasy, nice crunch, came with a small salad that was just right and again real potato fries. My wife had Oriental chicken salad salad mostly just lettuce but that is a salad I told her. I had bacon and eggs. Had asked three times for coffee refill. We went in for breakfast since we were staying at the Best Western in the same parking lot. The sanitation practices even if there wasn't a pandemic happening were appalling. From touching masks constantly or having her mask hanging off her ear as she served our drinks. This is after she told us to put our masks back on until she was done. If my hubby wouldn't have been starving we would have left before our contaminated food finally arrived. There were other servers cleaning off dirty dishes then touching coffee pot without and hand washing between. When our second cup of coffee finally came after asking for it 2 other tables cups were filled before ours and then the pot was touching the rim of the cups. Thanks but...no thanks. read more

Warning to all travelers DO NOT go here. We waited an hour for our food (after several customers left because of a long wait). We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, so it took an hour to get our food. The burger was undercooked and the noodles were cold, undercooked and crunchy for my wife's chicken Alfredo. Would've had a more pleasant experience eating the raccoon outside in the road. Trust me- go anywhere else! Not sure what happened with negative reviews but our service was great! We weren't greeted at the door but went in and sat down at the bar area since all booths were full. Went with a group of 4 this past Saturday evening. Only one waitress was working. She cashed out two groups before coming to take our order for drinks and meals. She took the orders and returned with drinks. She took other orders and busied herself. Customers who came in after my group were already served...and were eating my exact order. When I said something about it, she asked if I thought she was serving locals before others.i said yes and her attitude went downhill from there. The meal was not hot and the meat was dry. Worst food and service ever...and I have been going there for the past 5 hunting seasons. If I were the manager, I would fire her for such a poor attitude. We stayed at the Best Western next door, so walked to the 4 B's for dinner. We were tentative about entering because they would close in 15 minutes on a Sunday night. But, even though we were the only ones in there, we received a very warm and friendly welcome! My son enjoyed the novelty of sitting at the food counter on barstools (and he's a teenager!) The prices are VERY reasonable, and we received a 10% discount for staying at the motel. I'm so glad we went here!! It was delicious! I had the tuna melt, my husband, the country fried steak, and my son, a breakfast special. I ordered mashed potatoes and gravy as a side, and they were the best I've ever had! Very flavorful! We liked it so much that we forfeit the free Best Western breakfast and returned in the morning. I wish we had a place like this in San Diego. Just great, wholesome, home style food! Traveling through and wanting a home cooked meal. Found this place and it is located right off the highway so easy access to grab a bite and jump back on the road. Service with a smile and very clean. I ordered the famous meatloaf with-veggie and mac & cheese. I was hoping for homemade Mac & cheese but it like boxed brand, meatloaf was good with a brown gravy instead of red sauce so different but tasty. My husband got the Tomato Soup and grilled cheese sandwich. The soup was delicious !!! I wished I had ordered that instead; normally I pick the best thing on the menu! Ha ha. We came into your resturant for breakfast on our way home from vacation and ordered breakfast. I ordered the small bacon and eggs breakfast and was "very specific" to your waitress "Stacy" about how I wanted my bacon cooked: brittle crisp to which she seemed to understand. Upon getting my breakfast, my bacon was clearly "limp" and I sent it back and she took my whole plate leaving me only my toast. When she brought my plate back a second time again the bacon was still limp, she came back to the table to check as I had pushed my plate ti thre edge and asked if it was ok and I told her "the bacon was still limp, there was grease now dripped all over the eggs and hashbrowns which were now cold and I would have NEVER served a plate to a customer like that as I had been a waitress for 20 yrs". To which she replied "when our customer's order crisp bacon this is how they get it and they eat it like this and I personally stood over the press waiting for it to crisp, what would you like us to do put it on the oven? (Loud enough for the whole resturant to hear her). In the resturant business, the customer is ALWAYS RIGHT even if they are WRONG still APPLIES! She was rude, disrespectful, and wrong! Our waitress, Jimi, was so great! She was the only one taking care of the breakfast crowd but she was super attentive and friendly. She interacted with everyone, kept our coffee topped off and even noticed which kind of creamer flavors we preferred and brought us extra. My son and I were hungry and decided to try this place in the middle of snow storm on our trip. Service was slow, I'm guessing cause of the weather, but the people there were very friendly. Atmosphere and decor much better than expected...much cleaner than the 4 B's in Havre, Montana. Why this organization continues to allow the Havre restaurant make the others look bad I don't know. Tried it because it was one of the only places open in town before 8 am. Ordered the southwest omelet and specified no chorizo to make my vegetarian self happy. Plate came with an omelet stuffed with sausage. I asked the waitress why and she said "it's not chorizo, it's just sausage." Explained I need no meat and could I just get scrambled eggs.
