BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich with waffle fries

I have been here several times with the new owner. The food is made to order, and cooked your way. The owner is friendly in a positive small town way. The food is tasty and service is quick. my mom, who lives in town, insists we eat here atleast once each time i visit. The atmosphere is of a local family diner, e normally sit at the counter.

As always, Ennis Sunrise Cafe delivers. Abundant yummy French toast, great eggs and sides, and wonderful peach crepes. All with a friendly side of coffee in an authentic diner feel. Just a Montana favorite!

My coworker and I stopped by for brunch (10:30a), highly recommend I got a Cuban sandwich with tots. My sandwich was very delicious, great golden brown bread, tots also crispy golden cooked to perfection. Coworker got breakfast platter, he loved it! Older town, small town great spot if you're a traveler

Small little diner. Stopped by driving thru Ennis for breakfast. Good hearty breakfast. The waitress was very nice and service was good. Enjoyed my meal and recommend.

So glad we found this little gem - lots of history in the place! They sell antiques and show how the cafe originally started. The waiter was very nice and always kept our drinks refilled. Our food was amazing and the prices were good. Definitely a great spot for breakfast, lunch & everything in between!

Outside of restaurant. Keep driving by and save your body from potential butter-induced heart attack.

Terrible service and worse food. Undercooked breakfast. We sat at the counter and saw our food sitting up at the kitchen for at least 5 minutes and all the servers ignoring it. We finally had to ask for it. I'll say it again. The food was awful. First bad food in Montana in a week.

Nice place, simple. Waitress was nice and the chef even stopped by to check on our lunch. We had a vegetable wrap, BLT and tea. We would go back.

Great place for breakfast, quick service, and good food to start the day. East parking out front. Sometimes super busy because fishermen need their coffee too.

French toast and supposed to be over medium eggs. Eggs were actually over hard, yuck.

The food was amazing here! The service however was not good at all. It took ten minutes to be seated and then another ten to order. It then took 43 minutes to receive our food, which was two orders of French toast and eggs. Next time we will continue driving to the next town. It's funny, the sign outside says to smile, I don't think we got one smile ever from either waitress.

Really nice restaurant on Main Street the breakfasts are really good but I always get the buffalo burger and strawberry pie for dessert. The buffaloburger is really good and not as greasy as a beef burger. The strawberry pie is your normal pie with lots of strawberries it's a nice little local dinner. Great place to stop before fishing

There is a bar side and a restaurant side. Service has always been attentive and friendly. There is also a casino inside with fun games. Perfect place to hangout after a long day of fishing. Lodging- 2 stars. We used to stay in the cute cabins until about 3 years ago. Everything on the inside is outdated. It didn't feel clean. The bathroom was mildewed and smelled . I hope they choose to remodel the inside of the cabins because they do look cute from outside. But the inside does leave a lot to be desired. So we no longer stay there, but we eat almost all meals there because they are the bomb. I think management hasn't redone the rooms because there is not a whole lot of selection of where you can stay here and everything fills up very quickly, regardless of the quality because it is a smaller town. And now with the new Madison TV show I'm sure more people will be coming out, and there will be even less places to stay.

We went again tonight and while the cattleman's cutlet (aka chicken fried steak) was tasty enough, and my wifes' meatball sandwhich has some Italian nuances to it, the menu has become rather boring. Even the fish and chips are no longer on the menu???? Clearly the new management has chosen to make this just your average diner, with a below average menu. Why they put mussels on the appetizer menu is mind boggling. Really? Mussels in Ennis? Scary. Abby did a formidable job trying to keep up. She and only one other waiter were frantically running around, while the manager stood around watching for the most part. Next time we will go into town, where the G-bar and the Longbranch Saloon have a more diverse menu and better staffed. Not to mention Burnt Tree Pizza!
