Really wanted to like my gel manicure as this place is so conveniently located (three blocks from my place; and of course want to support my community) but it was just not great. The young woman who's name I didn't get seemed rushed, although there was no one else waiting, and when I was telling her my preferences, and how I like my nails shaped, and things to look out for (no one knows your nails better than you) I feel like I was being dismissed. Furthermore, when painting my nails she was very messy and missing getting into the corners and edges, and didn't cap the nail off (put polish on the edge; being that I've been getting gel manicures since CND first came out with the Shellac system years ago, I know what makes techniques lend to a long lasting mani) Finally the price seems very high for the Corona (27.00) which is the same I pay at my regular salon in Gramercy! Which i wouldn't mind paying there, if it was worth my while but it wasn't... and one nail already chipped-- 24 HOURS and gel?! No bueno UPDATE: it's now been 6 days, and my nails deteriorated further, lifting at all the edges (because there was no capping of the nail edge) and lifting the polish off. Gel is SUPPOSED to last 2 weeks... this one didn't make it one

Went for the first time. Very clean and nice. But unfortunately I had to wait a while for a gel mani and a pedicure. I was left my feet soaking in jelly water for 30mins before anyone came over to start my pedicure. In total, it took me three hours and 20 mins to get out of there. It's been a week since my gel manicure and part of it has chipped in some nails. The prices are a bit high for the neighborhood too. Overall, the staff is really nice and they do a good job in pedicures. Just don't get there on a Friday afternoon.

I've been a customer here since they first opened (I'm the girl with the afro that always asks for…read morechrome colors ^.^). In fact I actually just came from them today and as always, they do a fantastic job (they managed to give me a manicure while fixing my broken nails!). I'm not sure what the complaints about rudeness are about, because whenever I'm there, they are extremely nice and are even apologetic regarding the wait times. The wait times are a bit long, but it's because the neighborhood it's in is really convenient for a lot of women to come to after work (myself included). Nevertheless they're all pretty good at juggling the madness without the quality of work suffering. If you can, I suggest to try and go at your earliest convenience. My only suggestion is that they need to be upfront and honest with wait times. I know they need to make $$$, but a lot of people get annoyed not so much with waiting, but the fact that they're told 15 minutes, & then they end up waiting a lot longer. A lot of your customers are working women with children that may not have the flexibility to wait long periods of time like I do. I also hope that they get more staff members in the future. This place is only going to get more popular, and they need to be able to keep up! Other than that, I always leave satisfied. I'm glad that I don't have to walk all the way to Queens blvd to get a good manicure. I can just walk across the street! ;D

I've been coming here for years. Ladies are great and they do nails well. The only complaint I have…read moreis that that they are constantly screaming to each other across the room and it's extremely stressful. I get out to do my nails and enjoy being a way from kids and relax. they definitely need to STOP that. It's just not professional at all! But seriously is something they need to consider for their customers. Is not okay to be yelling across the room or even talking so much while attending to the customers.

I've been looking to give the acrylic a break and grow my natural nails and think I found just what I needed. Didi was there and she was nice to talk to as well. The space is nice and clean and I felt very welcome. Will definitely be back can't wait to see my nail progress on the next visit

I am so tired of establishments charging an arm and a leg for less than stellar service. The…read morepretentious policy and shoddy work don't align with the cost. I booked a service in February. I was going back and forth about a design, in which the person working there was of no help including the Tech that was a "Pro". After some time, I decided to do a French with 2 small hearts on 2 nails. Apparently, that's considered "Complex nail art". The tech who had a mask and heavy accent told me the price in which I clearly didn't understand until I went to pay. YES, I was upset that my nails cost me $150 (no extension etc) when I went to check out! Despite me being surprised, I STILL TIPPED HER (something I regret had I known they would deny me service moving forward). What's more upsetting is that I had to CONTINUOUSLY CORRECT THE TECH (a "pro") while she was doing my nails. Why am I paying so much money and she can't make sure the white on my tips are actually covering the nails properly? Why did she leave actual gel on the sides of my cuticles? Lastly, why did I pay $150 and had BUBBLES IN MY NAIL BED? I showed the girl at the desk, and she HAPPILY TOOK MY MONEY DESPITE SEEING THE BUBBLES. Let me guess, that's all my fault too, right? You think they cared about the actual work done on my nails? HA! Yet, I'm supposed to happily fork over my money for mediocre work and accept it? You guys did me a favor by denying me service. Oh, it's very telling when your nail techs don't stay long in either of your locations! SMH!

Came here for the first time and had such a great experience from getting a regular manicure…read more However, I wanted to wait until my second experience before writing a true experience. Regular manicures are only $10 but pedicures are double at $20. I believe gel manicures are $25 but I don't usually get them as they tend to dry out my nails unless it's a special occasion. On both occasions, I had a different technician working on my nails but they were both lovely and did a wonderful job on my nails. They took their time to file, buff, cut, paint, dry, and spray the enamel sprays on my nails. My nails lasted a good month or so so I'm very happy with the lasting power as well!

We came in on a monday afternoon, and they accepted walkins, at the time, as they were not many customers present. Although my manicure did take quite a while at about 2.5-3hrs, my nail tech did a very good job. Spent my time watching "Immortal Samsara." It was my first time getting acrylic nail extensions, so I did not know what to expect in the process. He reccomended this color for the cat eye polish, and I think it was a cute color! Service was nice, I guess the only thing I have to complain about was the smell inside, I believe it was from the acrylic power solution (the monomer solution). The entire process was $85 without tip, a bit pricey in my opinion ‍. May come back here for the location convinience with my friends again.

Tanya is a perfectionist and I love that!!!! Especially when it comes to our hands and feet!!! This is what and how a Russian Manicure should be.

They hold a $30 deposit when making online apt with use of CC (this goes toward final cost of service). The salon is located downstairs (you must ring the door bell). Meter parking available nearby. They only take cash or Zelle for remaining in person cost of service. Expect for the final product to be photographed and videoed (I was not asked for permission for this to be done). What is Russian pedi- no water is used. Cuticles are drilled and cleaned with metal pick and cuticle cutter. Heels and bottom of feet callus removal is with a mini sander looking mechanical drill that can get a little hot. Gel polish with UV light is used. No lotions or oils used. At the very end a petroleum jelly like item is rubbed on heel and feet. I was please with the final product. My nail polish was well done and my cuticles and dry heels were cleaned properly and meticulously. Service was good. Nafisa was particular and careful. She worked quickly but took care to do everything properly. She wore mask and head cover during the service and tools seemed to be new out of wrappers for the mechanical items (nail clipper and files were not). There was minimal to no speaking because of the language barrier so I was able to read my book the entire time. The pedicure took exactly 1 hr. Ambiance was not one of relaxation and glamor. There was more of a clean sterile vibe. The chair seemed like a dentist chair (no massage option which was a bit disappointing). There are no massages and no lotions (only a little bit of Vaseline like jelly at the end. I was the only client and no other technician was there so it was very quiet. The total cost was $80 (I tipped on top of this) Worth it? Maybe? But if you're expecting to be pampered and feel relaxed and glamorous for that amount this is not the place. If you want quality work then sure. You'd have to decide if that's worth it for you.
