Everybody there was clearly a regular. I've gone to places before as a new customer and felt less important than the regulars ... I felt just as special as everybody else there so that was really very lovely. She took her time picking out a color with me and doing my nails. I got a shellac manicure.. its coming up on two weeks now and I don't have any lifting edges which is normally what happens so I am very happy. They are cash or Venmo only!

I get the same thing every time I get my nails done. Same color, same amount of coats, and same length; I have NEVER had a whole nail pop off or chip this badly one day after getting them done. It was also extremely uncleanly. I didn't see them sanitize a cuticle cuter or nail clipper before passing them from one customer to the next once. They also asked me to pay AND TIP before I even got the service done. I have never had a place ask me to tip them, let alone before the service was even completed before. Tipping is a complementary touch, which I always do. I paid $35 (plus the tip they asked me for upfront) for a manicure I will now have to redo myself one day after getting them done. Don't waste your time or money.

After going to Miki, my nails became so strong and long, and people are always surprised when I tell them they are my natural nails, with no extensions or anything over them. Miki brought all my nail design visions to life. My question wasn't if she could do it but which five nail designs I wanted to pick that day. She did my nails for my engagement, bridal, wedding, and baby shower, and I would not trust anyone else to do it for all my special occasions. She never asked me how I wanted my nails shaped, even though I always ask for them to be very square. She also did not properly clean my cuticles. During the pedicure, she was very rough and kept pushing my foot into the tub. On top of that, she never asked if the water temperature was comfortable for me. I paid $45 for a gel pedicure, and I believe that price should come with quality service and respectful treatment. I also work in customer service, and no matter how bad my day is, I would never treat a customer this way because I understand that people are paying for a good experience. I even left a tip, and honestly, I don't know why because I walked out feeling frustrated, uncomfortable, and very disappointed with the service.
