So I went here. Funny enough, I used to live across the street from this place, but never noticed it because the building is somewhat unsuspecting. What was a just a necessary errand to run turned out to be quite a pleasant experience! The staff there are all incredibly friendly, helpful, and efficient. I went around 11am on a Thursday and there was one person in front of me. It definitely got progressively busy while I was there. Don't wander too far, though, because this place probably processes through each car in under fifteen minutes. Even with a three cars ahead of me, I probably wasn't there for more than an hour. For the first time, I needed a smog check for my vehicle as part of its annual renewal, and this place kept appearing at the top of review lists. Since they are local to where I live, I decided to show up earlier today around 3pm. No appointment was needed. I drove onto the premises and was seen within a minute of arriving. Less than 15 minutes later, I was told that my vehicle had passed inspection and was ready to go. When I left, a few cars were waiting to get in, but they were moving quickly. WHEN: Monday @11am Well I'll be damned. This place is so amazing. It's been so long since I brought in any car for a smog check and I rightfully am nervous about the whole process (like do I give them the paperwork? Will they give me one to mail back? Do I need to explain anything? Etc) Anyway, place is easy to spot and they have an entrance you just drive right though, and stop where there's a stop sign. Star immediately came to me after she finished speaking with another customer. She told me exactly what I needed to do: - Give her my DMV paperwork - Fill and sign a form - Leave the keys in the ignitions and get out They have a waiting area but due to Covid we just wait to the side, it's fine. Before I know it, just 10 minutes later, Star brought me into her office where we completed the transaction, fully explained: - The car passes the smog check! - They will send the certificate to the DMV - I get a copy of that certificate! - A receipt and the application I filled out is all attached to it! Oh wow Star is amazing, I really appreciate her. With the Yelp Check-in Promo, everything came out to be a flat $40! And I was barely there! I just walked to my care and drove straight out.
