I was excited to try out this place and was hoping to make this my go to nail spot since it's so close to the house and gym on top of the good reviews. The first time I came to get my nails fixed by another place and the guy did a decent job so I came back for a new set and a pedi. I called ahead for an appt and asked for a good pedi person, as soon as I sat down on the pedi chair the lady was saying in Vietnamese "looks picky already". Then the guy who did my nails the last time believe he is the owner kept speaking in Vietnamese and said how picky I was to his employees and bragging about his skills and years of experience. My set was going to cost $60 but he changed his mind last minute and charged $65. The set came out ok, I've had better but whatever it was I was gladly paid full price and left a good tip but never ever again since I felt super disrespected from this business. I know I'm not the easiest customer so I would always leave a $15/$20 tips but don't be talking crap the whole time. read more

I have found my nail salon. I am so happy with my experience here and with how long my nails have lasted. Tracey, did a wonderful job and essentially made my nails indestructible. I work in an industry where I'm constantly using my hands and a few times I thought my nails would break or come off like with my pervious experiences, however, with this set never once did I need to glue my nails to make them last. I also have a puppy, that plays with my fingers and whatnot and they also held up with that activity. It has been almost 6 weeks since I got my initial set and I still get compliments on my nails. I came by as a walk-in around 5:15pm last Friday for a gel manicure and I was seated immediately. All of the staff were very friendly and greeted me upon arrival. Candy took care of me and I am so happy with her work. She was extra thorough and detailed when shaping/painting my nails. I love that she took her time and really wanted it to be perfect. Such a nice, clean and lovely shop hidden in the Big Lots strip mall. Plexiglass partitions are used in between your neighboring chair and the foot of your seat. Masks are worn by the staff and clients, everything is very clean and well maintained. They accommodated my senior mom her walker and oxygen tank. Hannah, Tina, Mike, and Candi were our manicurists and they did a very nice job and took their time. All very nice staff. We're happy to return. read more

I was on the way to another nail salon, but pulled in this plaza to get a boba drink at Umi Fruiti (next door). Lisa seated me right away and even welcomed me w/ a water bottle (which I appreciated very much)! She started on my nails within 5mins. She was so nice, she seated my cousin next to me just for her to keep me company. She had conversations w/ me when my cousin & I weren't talking. She was just SOOO nice, amazing, sweet and funny. She did the perfect shape for my nails w/o having to ask, it was like she knew ME ! She is my new nail hero, I'll travel from corona for her any time! First time I went here, they were great. I even sent my grandma in and paid for it. This time? The nail tech that did my nails told me he knew exactly what I wanted, which was false. Then he told me I wasn't clear. He told me they looked "ok". I didn't pay 74 dollars to have nails that are "ok". He told me to smile, I didn't want to. I wanted to walk out. I want to remove my acrylic nails and have them done by someone that listens. That's just my hands. My toenails? They aren't cut/filed straight and my nail polish apparently never set and peeled off. Also? Their "matching color"? Does not match. I thought I found my nail salon until today. Today where I was spoken down to and basically told to deal with a sub par job. Obviously he even knew my nails were sub par stating "they don't look that bad" and "they are ok". They are hideous and now I have to spend a literal ton more money to try and find someone that will listen and do my nails correctly. I'm extremely upset. I have to google how to remove crappy acrylic without absolutely destroying my nail bed since they aren't lifting yet. Ridiculous. If I could have found a way to walk out of there only paying for the half decent pedicure. *note* bad nails will apparently come off if you file down the acrylic as much as possible and soak in acetone for 10 minutes at a time, the bad acrylic will scrape right off. That's thanks to a great nail tech that is unfortunately out of the country, residing in Canada. Shame it seems I have to go out of the country just to find a decent nail tech. Oh. I should probably add that the acrylic is fused to my actual skin on one nail. Awesome. read more

Went into today to get a wax for my grandma who doesn't speak English. I went next door to do our laundry and came back when it was time to pay! They charged 40$ for eyebrow upper lip and chin. Absolutely ridiculous we absolutely got overcharged and will never be returning again. I used to be a regular here but now I remember why I stopped going! Don't take advantage of your customers!!!! read more

Their service is good they're the best The place is very clean and very organized I've done a full set gel and a pedicure I loved the way they shaped my nails and my toes they have a lots of pretty colors to choose. My sister had a eyelash extension and a manicure, pedicure omg she loved her eyelashes they use good quality makes her eyes look big very pretty, my sister loved the way they scrubbed her feet with a good massage and hands too. EXCELLENT SERVICE My mom and I have been going to the same nail salon since I was a toddler. I'm now in college and we've been trying to branch out and try some new salons to see if we like something else better as we got sort of burnt out on our usual nail salon. One of my mother's co workers suggested this salon and we LOVED it! We were helped immediately. As soon as I sat down the nail tech introduced himself and asked my name. He was amazing! His name is Mike. He made great conversation the whole time and was very friendly. Everyone there is extremely friendly and welcoming. They did such a great job and took their time to make sure we were happy and 100% satisfied. They even gave us ice cold bottles of water. I feel almost afraid to share this hidden gem. This is my new favorite nail spot. I was treated like a queen. Truly, I felt so welcome. The nail spa was clean and following all of the current protocol. I scoured yelp for hours looking for a low key hidden gem and I found it. Please get your nails done here, you wont regret it. Everyone there is amazing. I got a gel pedi and a mani. Their cooling gel was BANANAS and the massage was to die for. The prices are affordable and absolutely competitive. My previous salon was often too crowded, late for appointments, and totally inflexible. I have a really tight work schedule and eventually was fed up, so I decided to try a new salon, and I'm so happy I did. Mike gave me a fill and reshaped my nails perfectly. He gave so much attention to detail, and even suggested replacing a cracked nail rather than "fixing" it because he was concerned that it would still break. He also put glue underneath the nail, which I really appreciated because my previous salon never did that and my nails would often lift. The prices are reasonable and they even have a stamp card for return customers. They also have a decent gel color selection, and it looks like they do a variety of designs. I will be back! read more

This salon with Lisa & her husband who's name has escaped me now, have turned this salon into a Clean and nicely staffed place. I have the SNS dipping powder and lisa nails (LOL) it everytime. Whether intentional or not, it came across as rude and as though customers requesting smaller services were treated as less important. Unfortunately, it left a very negative impression.

My gel overlay manicure was great, which I had an appointment for. The pedicure is the issue. They added me in for the pedicure, for which I waited (they notified me that there was going to be a wait, which I was fine with, but I would've been okay without the pedicure if they told me they didn't have room/time.) So I had a classic pedicure with them, removing my previously grown out gel pedicure and asked for a natural pedicure, expecting the usual cut, toe nail filing/ shaping, and cuticle trimming. My nail tech cut the nails, but basically did a hack job on cutting them. It looked like I cut them at home. No filing them even, no shaping whatsoever -- just a messy slather of nail strengthener over my toenails. And this wasn't the first time I didn't get a color polish on my toenails/got a natural pedicure here. I think I already had a feeling when I was leaving that my pedicure wasn't that great but I couldn't really see in the dim lighting, and I was already delayed in needing to pump (breastmilk) so the engorgement/pumping was the more pressing matter on my mind of needing to get out of the nail salon. So I acknowledge it was my fault for not speaking up, but the services provided should be consistent enough that I don't have to be watching my nail tech like a hawk. Edit: when a business owner replies to your review, and basically says it takes time to achieve a "certain look", I think that's ridiculous, and frankly, a problem. Like I said, I've been here plenty of times and have gotten clear polish/pedicures at THIS LOCATION, especially when I came to THIS LOCATION when I was pregnant this past year and couldn't reach my feet. None of those experiences AT THIS LOCATION were bad. This visit just warranted a bad review and they didn't like it and didn't like the photo proof. My toenails were long and grown out (43 days since my last pedicure) so the nail tech had plenty to work with. And like I previously acknowledged, I should've spoken up but gave the reason why it didn't happen. Business owners: stop writing automatic formed responses and be proud of your business and acknowledge when you hire people who don't achieve your vision for your business and cut corners. I got a "pedicure" without a cuticle trim -- I think that's a basic at the very least.
