Hello my experience with four wheel unlimited was quite short all they did was replace some front springs that I had swapped out from the stock springs and overall the experience was decent I would say that the two people at the counter would have to work on their customer service skills little bit more so, if they really want more business ,but who's to say I'm just a customer that came from a retail business where the customer was always rite. A bit on the pricy side. But you get what you pay for. So far so good with the Eibach spring installation. read more

Took my 97' cruiser in to change 4 bushings on my front control arms to correct the caster on a lifter around 11:30am. I also mentioned if he had the time to change out three brake lines. No quote was given except for the $125.00 an hour shop rate. David later called me around 4pm to say that his tech could only do the rear brake line and if if I wanted to leave the truck another day he could do the front two since they were giving his tech a hard time. I said no, that I need the truck by tomorrow. He told me it would be ready at 5:30pm for pick up. Wife drove the truck home and she immediately texted me that the brakes felt wrong. I would of told her to come back to the shop but it was too late and that had just closed at 6pm. My wife got the truck home but she insisted that something was wrong with the brakes so I called a mobile mechanic to take care of it because I had to be at work. The mechanic came over and bleed the brakes for $100.00 but she said the truck felt normal again. I called David the next day and informed him of the situation. He said that both of his techs drove it and he did as well and mentioned it felt fine. He did not offer to make the situation right in any Long story short, I paid $475.00 to have 4 bushings replaced and one brake line only to need the truck re-bleed by a mobile mechanic for an additional $100.00. 7/11/19 I just got back my truck from the Toyota dealer and they asked if I had tried removing the old brake lines. I told them that the previous shop, 4 wheel unlimited had tried but hd difficulty. They said they had looked stripped. read more

Shouldn't be in business. No call back for ordered parts. Waited 4 weeks for rear taillights, 5th week had to call, always on hold. Mechanic is also front sales, no respect, thinks he's better than the customers. Never going back. Go to Leadfoot in La Verne, way better service. Never did get my rear taillights... read more

*******UPDATE**** David, presumably the owner or manager, took care of all of the previous issues in very short order. He quickly ordered the proper part, was able to get it installed, and it looks great. He did this at no extra charge. So After the initial bad taste in my mouth, the business came through with flying colors. They were able to make everything right. I left a very happy customer. **original review** I called in to order a part for my truck. I gave the employee my exact truck specifications. He ordered the incorrect part number. I did not realize it was the incorrect part until I got it home. I returned the part and asked for a refund. David, at the front counter, refused to give me a refund and said I must have given the incorrect information to the phone rep because he cannot prove otherwise. He also said no refunds on special orders. I asked him how this was a special order, and how I was supposed to be made aware of this policy over a phone call. No one told me this, and again, he said there's no way to prove that. I was treated rudely, unprofessional, and I'm amazed that this place has been in business for allegedly 30+ years. I will certainly never give them my business again, I would highly recommend going to another store. read more

Unprofessional! I got my truck home before I realized it was missing bolts in the Brand New CV Axel they installed and I only noticed after it started making a noise When I called to inform them of the issue I was told and I quote " What do you want us to do" Another red flag, and yet I took it back again this would now be the 3rd day they had it I received a call that now my truck was fixed right IT WAS NOT!!!! I took it to a Real reputable shop where they showed me The Sway bar bolts were loose, the wrong bolt in the upper control arm was used and because of this I had to replace more bushings Real people don't have time for unprofessional Stupidity in the end I truly regret going here , especially after it cost me more $$$ read more

Price was decent when I started out but install was a nightmare. Had nerf bars put on and they came loose and actually broke off after a few weeks of use. I looked under to find they had been installed with 1/3 of the necessary hardware. It took 2 trips to let them see and understand what was missing then another trip to get it reinstalled right. Ill say that the installers reasoning was that he couldn't find the other hardware in the box. Of course I asked "so does that mean just half ass it?" So much for saving $50. I could have installed my self and done it right the first time. Then I found them for $60 less at Offroad enterprise just down the street. Live and learn. FYI these guys act like they know their stuff but they treat everyone with a take it or leave it attitude. Not a customer friendly place for newbs or anyone for that matter but good luck if you come thru. read more

I had a lift done by 4 wheel "parts" (other guys) and brought it in to 4 wheel unlimited because of the poor service I got at at the other place. Tim and his mechanic were great. Showed me what was wrong and where the clunking! was coming from (cross threaded bolt in my track bar) took care of it on the spot and at a good price. I have had 3 other repairs there so far and they have been great. I'm not bad with a wrench but don't have time. So I know what they are talking about and they have been honest and fair. If you do not like to read, I'll make it simple. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND/OR BUY ONLINE (online you save up to 60%)! I have been here twice. My first experience was great. Dave (with hair) was social, knowledgeable, Man's man, Cool dude next door etc. I ordered a Bikini top for $70.00. Yes I know they are $30-$35 on Ebay or Amazon but I needed one ASAP. I gave him my money and he assured me my Bikini top would be there tomorrow morning 10/07/17. Next day comes. I get a call in the morning from Dave (shaved head) that my Bikini Top is in. I drive down there with my Brother and park near the Entrance/Exit driveway. After all, I am just going to grab my top that I paid for and get out. The parking lot has a weird layout. There is a ton of space but only about 7 actual parking spaces which were all taken. I wanted to park my Jeep (no top) in a place where I could see it while I ran in/out. This is Holt Blvd in Pomona I do not want to get jacked. Well, Dave (shaved head) starts to act like a bad cop and tells me I can't park there as I am blocking his Entrance/Exit driveway. I wasn't blocking anything. I told him (in a nice manner) that I just wanted to get my top and leave (he saw me come in and pay for it the day prior). He stated that he had other customers in an irritated manner. I gave my Brother the car keys to move my Jeep into an unsafe no mans land in the parking lot. I wait about 20 minutes as he helps the other customers first. I have no problem with that even though he could have just handed me the top. However, it seemed like he was purposely taking his time. When it was finally my turn, rather than help me he decided to stamp various paperwork first. Now that sounds like unnecessary control issues to me. He finally gave me my top when he was good and ready and I drove off. Bottom line. I will NEVER come back. I had some things I wanted done to my Jeep...I will go elsewhere! read more

This shop is fantastic compared to all the other offroad shops I've ever been to. Dave knows his stuff and was extremely patient helping me select the right wheels and tires for my older SUV. They had no problem installing my 6" lift that I had purchased elsewhere. I wish I could remember the mechanic's name but this guy is great and really knows his stuff. The prices were very decent. I always compare prices online and I didn't see any huge markups. The lift and tires have been amazing since their install last month. I'm now saving my pennies for new gears and guess who I'm going back to for that? :) read more

this is the worst shop rude bad attitude they call the shop( all 4 wheel drive) on Holt in Pomona Inland Empire I Drive an h2 Hummer lost the wheel lock key stopped in to have the wheel locks removed before I can get in the store I was greeted by a store manager extremely rude and angry I had parked in the wrong place like it really mattered was no one else in the parking lot the angry loud manager quoted me $60 a wheel or $240 for all four manager stated it could take an hour or more per wheel as we were talking they had a car on the repair rack almost fall off I thought it was going see the vehicle land on the ground fall off so I went to American tires in Chino I was very greeted immediately by a nice manager an the shop was very busy service manager said it be $22.00 to remove all four wheel locks plus an additional $5 for lug nuts call of $27 and they would have the work done in 30 to 40 minutes had lunch came back and the job was done $27 at American tire read more
