He helped me find the exact bikes for my needs and offered to build my top choice so I could test it out (it was a difference size than what they had on the floor). Everything was great until the owner, Charles, came over. He totally tanked the sale. He forbid his employee from taking the bike out of the box and told me I had to drop $1,000 to buy it before I could even sit on it. Unbelievable way to do business. Charles didn't just lose a sale, he lost a local customer who was planning to bring three bikes (including an e-bike) there for service. After meeting the owner I wouldn't trust them not to rip me off. We went to Landry's instead and had a much better experience. Avoid Casa/Amped.

Upon picking up my bike a piece of my bike (an axle key, branded with my bike brand) was missing. Additionally, they didn't fully clean the cassette and chain and I spent another hour of my time finishing their terrible work. The shop not only had incredibly rude customer service (including hanging up on me) and did not propose a resolution. Do not take your business here. It's a shame that I tried to support a local business and had this terrible of an experience.

I only knew of this because it was recommended to me by another shop that was completely booked. It's a small shop, but the crew made good use of the space. They have few technicians on deck, and one that I spoke to is very knowledgeable, nice, and honest about which repairs were needed. Also, they were so sweet and took time from their busy schedule to do minor adjustments to my bike. I tipped them and out I go feeling way better riding my bike!

I tend to utilize this if there is something specific (brand/color, etc) that I know I want and then it's super efficient to pick up. The staff is super nice and always happy to guide to the section you are looking for. They are also helpful if you are returning an item or exchanging and I love their commitment to sustainability in the community as well. I always see people down in the bike/repair area so that seems to be a super convenient option to have for a the cyclists in Boston.
