While my truck was in the shop, they told me my transmission lines were leaking and quoted me $1453 to fix. I KNOW they weren't leaking because I park on cement every day and would see it. I decided to tow the truck out of there. My regular garage said THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THEM. NOTHING. GM should cancel this dealership. What they did is FRAUD. The lines are in perfect condition. CHESROWN is a scam.

That said, I do want to be fair--over time, not just based on one recent visit, I've noticed things improving. It's been easier to schedule, and interactions with staff have felt more respectful and organized. I still think there are some areas that could be better, especially when it comes to service recommendations, but I can see the effort being made. I've bought multiple cars from here, so this matters to me. The improvements definitely make me more open to continuing to do business with them.

I was told that their service backlog was 4 days; Anyone who wanted service had to schedule it, and they were currently scheduling 4 days out! When I complained, they sarcastically asked me if I was telling them that they should put me in front of someone who has patiently waited 4 days for their appointment! I said yes, Andy they just looked at me scornfully! They also said they had no loaner cars, but could recommend a car rental place that wasn't far away. I threw a fit, and very loudly "explained" that emergency service should be higher priority than scheduled maintenance, because when scheduling maintenance most people can continue using their vehicle while they wait for their appointment. They did not seem to care. While I was waiting for my wife to come get me, I learned that a technician had decided to look at my truck. The technician was nice, and found that my truck had a known problem for which there was a recall, but it was a silent recall that was not proactively sent to everyone. Only trucks that exhibited this problem would get the replacement part. This was a Friday, and I was told the part should be in Monday. On Monday afternoon I called to see when I could pick up my truck, and was told that installing the part required a specialized piece of equipment, and they only had one of those. Another truck that had been sitting in their lot for 2 months had finally received approval for a procedure that would take 2 weeks, and they had started doing that procedure just before my part came in, and It would be 2 weeks before they would be able to install my part. The "good news" was that once that equipment became available again, it would only take a couple hours to install my part. I was without my work truck for 3 weeks because the service coordinators at this dealership don't care about the customer!!! Or perhaps they don't understand that emergency service that takes a couple hours with a part expected to arrive that day should be higher priority than a 2 week service that has been waiting 2 months for approval (especially for a known problem with a silent recall). Or maybe they were spiteful because I got mad at them when they told me I would have to wait 4 days for them to look at the truck that I had just had towed in, and perhaps they did this on purpose. I don't know which it is, but I am never taking my truck to this dealership again! I complained to them multiple times during this whole ordeal, and they kept telling me there was nothing they could do for me. I even pointed out the sign that they had near their cashier that says "If there's any reason you can't leave a 5 star review, please let us know", but they had no answer for that.

So now instead of $52k, I was actually paying $57k. But technically since I make the downpayment before I walk out the door, then it counts toward their "out the door" price I guess? That's a slimball dishonest way to do business and I have never had another dealership do that to me. Anyways, when I responded and said that I would only do the "out the door" price that I originally thought I was getting, the salesman told me "Yeah, i dont have $5,000 to give you bud." So I went to a different dealership and got a nicer truck for a better price. I don't think their prices are that bad, just be careful that they dont screw you over with their sales tactics.

He went above and beyond to try to not just win our business but find us the model, color and trim that we were looking for. The finance person we dealt with was straight to the point and no trying to over sell any of their products he explained them and gave us a price no pushy presentation. Great - but of course he flies thru; wrong trim level, wheels and accessories, better condition then says - see its worth a lot more. UHH No - I noticed, and of course I found 'cover-ups' and things they tried to keep from being obvious but didn't mention, so they probably think they got me but in the end we got a price I was happy with for a second car without a lot of use that fit my needs. I would not buy an everyday car from them, over priced, praying on the un-knowledgeable shopper so be on your toes and look closely before buying- do your research to set your price, not them. Yes there are ALOT worse dealers around, overall its a nice place, clean, large, easy to find with A-one people but bad pricing and my car was middle of the road quality so overall I'll give them a 'fair' rating.

I bought a 2010 gmc canyon in November of 2022 off Fred the truck went to the gm dealer two times…read morein less than 500 miles of me having it(Freddy paid half of each bill) I then found out the frame had a cracked off control arm mount on drivers side and passenger side was already fixed however I was never told that their was frame work done when I bought the truck (Freddy gave me 350 for the repairs I did) now 4 months of owning my truck and only driving around 25 miles a day putting around 3000 miles on it the timing chain cam phaser etc had to be replaced (3200 in repairs outta my own pocket) upon buying the truck I was told it had a remanufactured engine in it with less miles (His mechanic told me this when I was looking at the vehicle before I took it for a test drive) the truck has been nothing but issues I'm not saying this is a horrible place to buy from however I think personally I should of been notified about the frame being patched up as it really hurts the resale value of vehicles and I would of never have bought the truck if I knew that Freddy needs to check over his vehicles before he sells them
