Very rude service coordinators. Find another dealership! I had my Ford E-Transit towed to this…read moredealership because my truck failed to start one day in a store parking lot. I was told that their service backlog was 4 days; Anyone who wanted service had to schedule it, and they were currently scheduling 4 days out! When I complained, they sarcastically asked me if I was telling them that they should put me in front of someone who has patiently waited 4 days for their appointment! I said yes, Andy they just looked at me scornfully! They also said they had no loaner cars, but could recommend a car rental place that wasn't far away. I threw a fit, and very loudly "explained" that emergency service should be higher priority than scheduled maintenance, because when scheduling maintenance most people can continue using their vehicle while they wait for their appointment. They did not seem to care. While I was waiting for my wife to come get me, I learned that a technician had decided to look at my truck. The technician was nice, and found that my truck had a known problem for which there was a recall, but it was a silent recall that was not proactively sent to everyone. Only trucks that exhibited this problem would get the replacement part. This was a Friday, and I was told the part should be in Monday. On Monday afternoon I called to see when I could pick up my truck, and was told that installing the part required a specialized piece of equipment, and they only had one of those. Another truck that had been sitting in their lot for 2 months had finally received approval for a procedure that would take 2 weeks, and they had started doing that procedure just before my part came in, and It would be 2 weeks before they would be able to install my part. The "good news" was that once that equipment became available again, it would only take a couple hours to install my part. I was without my work truck for 3 weeks because the service coordinators at this dealership don't care about the customer!!! Or perhaps they don't understand that emergency service that takes a couple hours with a part expected to arrive that day should be higher priority than a 2 week service that has been waiting 2 months for approval (especially for a known problem with a silent recall). Or maybe they were spiteful because I got mad at them when they told me I would have to wait 4 days for them to look at the truck that I had just had towed in, and perhaps they did this on purpose. I don't know which it is, but I am never taking my truck to this dealership again! I complained to them multiple times during this whole ordeal, and they kept telling me there was nothing they could do for me. I even pointed out the sign that they had near their cashier that says "If there's any reason you can't leave a 5 star review, please let us know", but they had no answer for that.

Typical slimy dealership and salesman. After negotiating a price that I was happy with and making…read moreplans to drive out and purchase the truck, the salesman (Nick) informed me that their "out the door" price actually included $5k of my downpayment. So now instead of $52k, I was actually paying $57k. But technically since I make the downpayment before I walk out the door, then it counts toward their "out the door" price I guess? That's a slimball dishonest way to do business and I have never had another dealership do that to me. Anyways, when I responded and said that I would only do the "out the door" price that I originally thought I was getting, the salesman told me "Yeah, i dont have $5,000 to give you bud." So I went to a different dealership and got a nicer truck for a better price. I don't think their prices are that bad, just be careful that they dont screw you over with their sales tactics.

My family has worked with Columbus Auto Source and specifically Andy for years. Recently, I asked…read moreAndy to help me find a reliable van for our family, and I couldn't be more pleased with how incredibly helpful and thorough he was from start to finish. He found us the perfect van, under our budget, with all the bells and whistles we were hoping for. I truly couldn't be happier with the experience. Thank you, Columbus Auto Source, for helping me find the perfect mom car--and thank you, Andy, for always being so dependable, caring, and trustworthy throughout our vehicle journeys.

I have decidedly mixed feelings about this place, leaning towards negative. We got the car we…read morewanted here, and like it as a car (the design, etc.,) but it had lots of problems, some of which they were shady about, and I can't recommend them. They get mixed reviews on Yelp, good ones elsewhere online, and a good rating from the BBB, so we thought they were decent. The lesson? You can usually trust Yelp, and your gut. When you buy a used car, it's going to have some issues, and we were ready for that. We were not ready for serious issues that they missed on their checks, or didn't tell us about. Some of the problems they wouldn't have known about, some they should have caught, some stuff they knew and didn't tell us, and some they tried to hide from us. You can't make a good decision, and can't negotiate effectively, if you don't know what you're getting. They did bring the car back and fix the major, missed issues, at cost, but I still feel like the ripped us off. They were a little pushy as salesmen (the old "what would it take to get you to buy today?") They want us to bring the car back for them to work on more, but we don't trust them, either in their ability to do the work correctly or their honesty in what's wrong with it. We trusted them, and were let down. When you're buying a used car, never trust the seller (individual or dealer.) Or rather, trust but verify. Take it to a mechanic for an inspection. Firestone does them for $10, I think. Take it out for a good test drive, and try out everything- move seats, brake hard, test all the lights, etc. And frankly, if you feel rushed or at all suspicious, leave. There are other cars out there.
