Tracey lacked communication with me, my vendors, my bridal party, and my family and was late on multiple occasions. Due to poor communication between a vendor and her, I had to change the venue site two days before my wedding, which was rather stressful. He had requested to assess the venue over three months in advance, and she told him no, never consulting with me to ask if he could come out. I found this out two days before our wedding. She was unable to handle simple tasks and failed to assert herself and take charge of her defined role. She stood in the background watching the entire weekend. I would like to call her an expensive guest, but even my guests contributed more to my wedding day than she did. My bridal party "met" Tracey at the rehearsal dinner. However, she attended but didn't speak one word to anyone and sat at the end of the table. On the day of the wedding, she stood in the background, didn't help solve any last-minute concerns, ate out food, didn't engage with anyone, then took our wedding leftovers home. We were happy to send food with her but so profoundly disappointed in her role over the weekend. A word of caution: after meeting with my vendors before and after my wedding, there was talk they would no longer do business with Tracey due to their poor experience and lack of communication. This may restrict the vendors for future weddings if choosing to work with Tracey as a planner.

I offer the below as a first hand recap of my experience with the band, Brandy - in particular, the…read moreband's manager - Stephen. Stephen blatantly failed to honor our contract. In addition to telling us that we shouldn't have canceled our wedding & that we made the wrong decision (which is always nice to hear when you've had to cancel your wedding because of a global pandemic) - he claims Covid is not a real thing & "the truth will soon be revealed."  I literally cannot make this up & would be happy to share additional detail if helpful. This should serve as a warning to anyone considering working with Stephen ---- DO NOT. March 2020 - Original contact with the band/Stephen for our late August 2020 wedding. As covid had already exploded, part of our contract was a clause (exact text: "In the event the date needs to be rescheduled due to corona virus, the full deposit amount will be transferred to a new date in which the band is available. If the Purchaser chooses a date that Brandy is not available, the full deposit ($2,000) will be refunded".) July 2020 - inform Stephen that we'll be unable to have our wedding in Aug 2020 & that it's been rescheduled to the same weekend in 2021. Stephen sends a new contract omitting our covid clause AND upping the price of the performance!  After many back & forths - Stephen finally agrees to stand up to what the contract says & rescheduled the performance for the agreed upon price, WITH the covid clause. painful. Late Feb 2021 - We write & call to inform Stephen that due to Covid uncertainty - we will be canceling our plans for August 2021 & will be having a small family only mini-wedding in Boston in March. Due to this - I ask for our deposit back. -- Stephen claims that we're not due the deposit back because we picked a date that they cannot perform. The reason they could not perform was because the Massachusetts State Govt was not allowing more than 10 people to gather indoors, nor permitting any live music performances at the time (mid March 2020). -- Stephen also calls our original venue behind our back to check if we really cancelled. -- Stephen claims we're "using covid as an excuse to get a refund." -- Stephen claims that WE are breaching the contract. -- Stephen asks us to change our wedding day... literally, he says we should have the wedding in May since that's when indoor venues can open & this way they can perform. ***note; I would be happy to share these emails with anyone... you literally cannot make this stuff up ! ! ! March 17 - We finally get $1500 of the $2000 deposit back. Note the 1 month turn around, and likely ~ 5 hours in total arguing on the phone with him...painful. -- Stephen claims: - No other weddings canceled - People have 'the time of their life not wearing masks & feeling free." - That we 'jumped the gun on canceling our wedding' - 'All of the corruption going on will be revealed and the truth will come out" I'll leave it to you to form your own conclusion - but if you can.... RUN.It's a shame because the band looks great (...unfortunately it wouldn't surprise me if the band doesn't even know this saga existed). Fortunately this is the ONLY $ we lost on the wedding. I say that only to highlight the fact of how great everyone else was to work with & how immediately they offered to refund given the unprecedented times (our venue even encouraged Stephen to do the same!).Poor form, Stephen.  Poor form.

We knew once we met Elaine we wouldn't have to worry about a thing. She is wonderful. The rest of the staff the worked at the event were excellent. They were fun, engaging, polite and friendly. They led the electric slide during some dancing. They also worked incredibly hard while they were chatting with us and all of our guests. They were always asking can I get you anything. They all went above and beyond during the entire night. The food was great. We had lunch while getting ready. It had sandwhiches cheese fruit chips and drinks. This was just the fuel we needed before a busy day ahead. Lori even came in to greet us and ask how everything was going and made sure we had everything we needed. During our cocktail hour we chose some apps that were yummy and perfect for while people were mingling. The meatballs and spring rolls were excellent. The cheese and olive tray with fruit and cheese were great The meal we chose was buffet style with steak tips, teriyaki chicken, carrots, mashed potato and dinner rolls. The salad was served at each table. The food was great lots of flavor and served hot. This is a fabulous location with so much to offer. Everyone there is wonderful. Thank you all for a gorgeous day.
