The issues: at $280 a night we felt the room was very dated (last updated about 20 years ago). The room smelled like bleach or really like how a senior living or care center smells which we spoke to the management about. The physical parts of the building, being quite old, showed various states of care/repair/disrepair/wear. Overall I dont see this at $280 but it was an ok stop. Management did acknowledge the issues and said the rooms not yet updated were to be done soon. Perhaps verify if your room choice has been done if reserving. I give it a 2 star towards 3 but price keeps it at 2 in its current condition.

DJ Jim was a prince from start to finish; he was not only incredibly warm, he was professional, and…read moremost importantly: he was FUN. He delivered from before the ceremony began (prelude, processional, etc.) through the wedding party introductions to the speeches to the best last dance ever. Everyone was on the dance floor... including my great-uncle who literally didn't even dance at his own daughter's wedding... because the music was THAT good. DJ Jim knows how to read a crowd, and he started with 80s to get everyone moving and grooving (because who could say no to Come On Eileen?!) and then began weaving in 90s (EVERYONE LOVED THE BACKSTREET BOYS, NSYNC, AND AQUA!!!), and Top 40 hits throughout. He is truly such a nice, nice, nice guy, and a top-notch DJ. I can't recommend him enough for a good time. (And his wife, Cheryl, does photo booths too, so it was a slam dunk dynamic duo for us!) He arrived early, was the consummate professional, and had a stellar library of music. He was able to play all of the music we requested (both for the ceremony itself and for the reception), and mixed the songs masterfully. His lighting was perfect and matched to our wedding theme. Our guests kept complimenting us on how great the music/DJ was. It really was a premier experience and well worth the price. He was dressed well for the occasion, was warm and friendly with guests, and knew exactly how to run the mic for introductions and toasts. The sound quality was amazing and he had a great voice for public speaking. Importantly, Jim took time to schedule a special call prior to the big day just to go over selections one last time, and even went through details like track versions and times! This was above and beyond, especially since his website is so well designed and detailed. Really, Jim was everything we could have hoped for our special day. If you want to get a DJ about whom you won't have to worry, who plays great music, is detailed oriented, arrives early, dresses professionally, can run an event, and interacts well with guests, he's your guy. Pole fitness is something I've wanted to try for a long time, and I'm so glad this place is here!…read moreI've gone with several different friends and we've all had a blast! Not only that, but it's a challenging, total body workout. Upper arm strength building, core training, balance, and of course, bringing out the inner diva like few other workouts possibly could! I highly recommend giving this place a try. Here are a few tips: For clothing, bring the shortest shorts you own (they have a bathroom you can change in). Short shorts allow for better grip on the pole with your legs. Also I recommend wearing/bringing a tight tank top or shorts bra. For certain moves, you may want short socks (the kind that don't go past your ankle) but if you forget them, don't worry, they have plenty of clean socks and you can totally borrow a pair for the duration of the class! For those who have a very sensitive sense of smell, this may not be right for you. They use a mixture of essential oils and alcohol to wipe down the poles, and it can be a very strong smell at times. I don't recommend doing this on an empty stomach OR on a very full stomach. You are likely to get nauseous from all the spinning! This is a body-positive environment and men are encouraged to participate as well... In fact, they had a special in which men could try pole fitness for free for the whole month of January. I brought my husband and he had a lot of fun too! Check this place out, you won't be disappointed.
