Sticky Toffee Pudding....yes, yes, yes. Tender, moist, sponge with host of flavors and topped with an (optional) thin caramel sauce. Really excellent sans sauce. Pathetic sliver of discolored and withered lettuce had to be removed. Bacon was good. Tomato had no taste. The mixed fruit as a side was OK. Not impressed with the food and will not return. Also, please be aware that they have a "sharing fee" as well as the credit card usage fee. It would be nice if diners could counteract these charges for the wait times, less than stellar food...that no one would be tempted to share anyway. Do yourself a favor...go to McGuires downtown.

The first thing that impressed me was the ample parking. The restaurant also has a small private beach area for customers, along with a great bar area overlooking the water. The property is handicap accessible with both ramps and stairs, making it easy for everyone to enjoy. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Assistant Manager Taylor. He made me feel extremely welcome and even recommended a lunch item from the menu. I took his advice and ordered the Pork Ribeye Sandwich, and it was absolutely amazing. On the side, I had a salad with their homemade ranch dressing. Without a doubt, this is some of the best ranch dressing I have ever had. The bartender, Cody, was outstanding as well. I tried the Lime Margarita, Blackberry Mojito, and the Strawberry Basil drink. Every one of them was fantastic. You can tell this is a place that people genuinely enjoy working at. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the customers all seemed happy to be there. It's rare to find a restaurant that gets everything right, but Avenue Pub comes very close.
