CaffeMarco - A new roast has been added to our website. Luna Italiana. It's an extra dark and dry roast with a subtle sweet hint.

We made a special trip to Paris just to try CaffèMarco. Hours posted on yelp and Google both said…read morethe business was open. When we arrived, and found parking, the was a sign out front that said "available two doors down". We went down to Hopewell bakery (it's wonderful). To find Marco's coffee setup for sale to be brewed at home, or a carafe of Marco's coffee set up on the bar. I did get a cup of coffee to try. And a sample bag to try at home. The coffee was nothing spectacular. It can be compared to hotel lobby coffee, honestly. Thank goodness we found the gem that is Hopewell, so the trip was not wasted.

The natural sweetness of the fig syrup mellows the bold bitterness of the espresso, creating a harmonious flavor profile. The citrusy brightness of the orange adds a refreshing, zesty note that complements the deep, rich tones of the coffee. Left to his own creativity, the barista created the perfect ratio of ingredients and was spot on with adding a splash of oat milk to give the drink, a little creaminess without taking away from the taste. It was the perfect drink for a stroll through the farmers market, offering a sophisticated yet refreshing experience that pairs beautifully with a relaxed, sunny morning. Come to Paris for the drink of the summer!

Hot coffee that has had ice added to it therefore reducing it to disgusting water with a tinge of the bitterness of something that once might have been coffee left in the bottom of a dirty cup...is NOT " COLD BREW". When you are told you might want to taste your "COLD BREW" Because it's incredibly WATERY AND WEAK, you offer me another glass of it. ‍ If it were actually made correctly-(cold brew takes 24-72 hrs to properly brew), I would just get another cup of trash. Add to that the insult of you putting MORE half and half INSTEAD of the HEAVY CREAM, and again-the result will be the same. A WATERY WEAK MESS. For a town with a college claiming to have such intelligent students-one can only assume none of them were involved in my experience here at this establishment today, because my 13 year old could straighten that operation out in about 7 minutes. Never walking in there to waste twenty bucks on dishwater again!
