I got the s'more iced mocha with oat milk and my friend got a drip coffee. Its so consistent in terms of the espresso and drip coffee. They were actually brewing a fresh pot of coffee when my friend ordered her coffee. The young man at the counter was really friendly. Your given a buzzer when your order is ready so you can sit and then pick up your drink. We sat outside to enjoy people watching. Tipping is optional and I strongly suggest that you do tip. read more

If you follow my Yelp reviews (what? I'm not Yelp famous?!), you know I travel far and wide for coffee. Admittedly, it may not be about the coffee palate as much as the coffee culture. Nate's might very well be very near the top of the list. Only a curmudgeon could grouse upon entering and hearing the sweet dulcet sing song greeting from the cashier who knows their customers by name. They were kind and patient and a little funny even about my order. The barista was also joyful and accommodating. My coffee was splendiferous, with a sprinkling of cayenne. There are a variety of coffee shops in Lexington, but based off of reviews, I decided to go check out Nate's Coffee. They roast their own beans, so that's a plus! I ordered a pour over with Mexican beans, and it came with a mug and the extra coffee came in a glass carafe. My pour over could have used a bit more beans, as my coffee was just a tad on the watery side. Other than that, Nate's Coffee is a great coffee shop with plenty of wooden benches to sit outside. read more

Fantastic fun little coffee shop obviously putting a lot of care into their craft. The staff was all quite friendly and knowledgeable, the interior was inviting while a bit on the smaller side, and the coffee was great (everything from the cold brew to their espresso), packed with some solid and subtle flavors. Offering some truly freshly roasted beans, I immediately grabbed a bag with which I will be starting my days. Pricing was also quite fair. It is by far the best quality coffee you can purchase locally in Lexington. I've tried all of them at some point in the past couple of years. I brew my own coffee at home in many different ways - from pour over to espresso, to even Turkish from time to time. For the price & quality you cannot beat it but the icing on the cake is that they will delivery locally so I don't even have to leave my house! read more

My girlfriends had the Chai tea latte (fantastic!), a decaf americano (good), and the daily blend, black (good). It's close enough to the convention center to walk and definitely would go back again. I'm giving them 3/5 stars because when my 3 year old and I were at the Farmers Market and I wanted to coffee and my 3 year old needed to pee (she holds it till last minute) they wouldn't let her use the bathroom. Covid...I get it...but not when it comes to kids. Im the Store Manager of a Store and we never turned down a pregnant women or a child. We just cleaned and sanitized after. I finally made it to the store front! Tom was there, remembered me and greeted me with a smile though not seeing me in a bit. I was able to get my all-time favorite coffee drink a caramel cortado. Made just right and in the cutest to go cup (and lid available but no need to waste for me). It was delicious and Tom informed me it was a mixed origin house espresso roast. It was creamy, rich, bold, and beautiful roasted notes that we enjoy in our espresso. I didn't catch the gentleman working the register's name, but he was friendly and kind despite my awkward ability to hold proper small talk. We made jokes and related on our geographical similarities. They offered a point program for each purchase. The price of my cortado was ideal at a $3 price point and our final tally with a iced latte at just over $7 was great with the clean atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious product. We then walked over to their booth at the cold brew festival where we tried their innovative cold brew "the recovery brew". Which had great citrus flavor and a similar taste you couldn't quite put your finger down on what it was. This place definitely reminds me of a place I want to visit again and again. read more

I used to have to get it at a few partner locations like North Lime Donuts but now that they've opened a dedicated shop downtown I can go straight to the source. I was told to try this place. I did. It was okay. I mean the coffee had a great aroma but a lingering aftertaste that just rubbed my tastebuds the wrong way. This place not only has unbelievable coffee but also is staffed by the nicest people imaginable! With me not knowing the first thing about coffee they were extremely patient with all my questions and explained it in very simplistic terms and my chemex came out exactly how they described it. From the different brew styles to the different coffee beans available they made sure to go into perfect detail about everything I had questions about. On top of everything, the service after getting my coffee was just as gracious. I definitely reccomend this place for anyone who just wants a great coffee (hot or cold) and a nice atmosphere to enjoy it in. Nate's has finally opened a shop downtown within walking distance to many things. I love that it is at the pavilion where many events go on and three are even open Saturday mornings with farmers market right outside. The store is nothing fancy but it serves its purpose well. They have about 3 bigger tables and a small sitting area with 3 soft chairs around a coffee table. The menu has a good variety of drinks and you can even get small pastries to go with your coffee. The guys behind the counter were friendly and fast. They were very helpful with what to order knew their stuff. The only thing that was a downside was to get inside you had to walk up a step , which pushing a stroller made it a little bit more challenging but nothing we couldn't handle. read more

So glad Zim's didn't open til 11:00 this morning so we had some time to kill. We noticed the cool little coffee shop across the way with spacious and beautiful outdoor seating on this gorge Friday morning. I got the mocha and my husband had a latte with oat mild. I often find myself enchanted with trying the local coffee shops and end up disappointed in my drink but not here. This was absolutely the creamiest and most delicious mocha latte that I've had. You mean to tell me I have not yet review Nate's Coffee?!?!?! What is wrong with me? Idk, but I tell you what's right with this coffee... EVERYTHING! First off, let's talk coffee. I am a coffee lover, the end. No but really, I love my cuppa Joe. I had a particular coffee shop I ordered from before finding Nate's and once that one closed down, I realized, I needed a new coffee supplier. I went all around Lexington looking and trying local coffee shops and all have their own quirks and flavors. Let me first give you the rundown of how I like my coffee. My preference is a light roast with just a taste or two of cream, thats all. So I like to taste the flavor in my coffee and don't doctor it up with alot of syrups and such. After trying lots of different shops, I have found that none of them can top Nate's coffee! I haven't tried a light roast that I didn't like here. I did try the delivery service, especially during the covid shut down. However now that I'm back at work full time, I get to grab my favorites in store. Nate's Coffee consumer forever! read more

It is small with very limited seating, so on a busy weekend, you'll likely need to get your drink to go, but the staff is friendly, the space is pleasant, and they even sell baked goods from Epping's. I don't love their coffee itself as much as that of some other areas in town and I've gotten lattes here twice. Both times the flavor was very concentrated at the bottom, which makes for an initially unflavorful drink with a few overpowering sips at the end. All in all, definitely worth stopping by. read more

We stopped in while at the farmers market and were very disappointed in the service we received. The cashier (a young man with a beard) was very rude to my fiancé when ordering and was more concerned with eyeing me down while I used the restroom while he was in line. He tried to make small talk with the cashier, asking if he was ok since he was coughing and sneezing. He was very short and dismissive in his response. We waited for about 10 minutes for just a quad shot of espresso. The barista was kind, but the young man at the register was simply standing around while another female had started working at the register. This was our first experience at Nate's Coffee and we were sadly disappointed in the service we received. read more
