What a gem! We stumbled upon this spot during our road trip from STL to NC and couldn't have been happier. The staff was incredibly welcoming we were greeted with a smile the moment we walked in. The inside was pristine and just adorable such a cozy, thoughtfully designed space. We're always on the lookout for charming local coffee shops, and this one definitely delivered. The coffee was fantastic! We ordered a brown sugar shaken espresso and an iced toasted marshmallow latte both had bold, smooth espresso flavor and just the right touch of sweetness. Great coffee house with espresso based and specialty drinks, house roasted coffee beans, fresh pastries, crepes, wraps, and salads. A great little gem with a friendly atmosphere and staff. Great place to meet friends, clients, or just get a little work done. They have a drive thru as well. Coffee beans are roasted in house and are available for purchase too. The lighting is bright with a commercial vibe like being at work. Limited service hours, but maybe this will change over time. I'm so excited to have another independent coffee house and this one is on my way to work! I've now been 3 times, here's what I like...the coffee has a genuinely good flavor to it. I usually get a latte of some flavor and the nice roasted flavor comes thru but it's not too acidic or harsh. One place in town is too weak and once place is too much. This flavor is great. It is a new establishment so don't expect all the bells and whistles. I enjoy coconut milk and I don't think they have it, but cow's milk is yummy too. One time I got my latte and the milk had obviously not been steamed so my whole coffee was cold. I check it now before I leave and it's been all good. Great place. Headed to distillery tours and tasting Toasted coconut scone was wonderful and the blueberry muffin was great as well. Our group had a couple cortados along with espresso and a latte. Update: The coffee is still pretty inconsistent (but getting better) and the food is meh but the service is what keeps me coming back every time. Everyone here is so sweet and patient and friendly and it's very refreshing considering the other shops around town that act like you're the biggest inconvenience the second you step into their store. I really do love this place now and hope that they can stay in business! read more
