A very personable young lady, with an interesting back ground as a result of her military service and professional employment. She has traveled the world. Experiences that influence the restaurant's menu. In addition to good old home-grown versions of Okie staples like a smash burger and meat loaf; there are a variety of international cuisine offerings. Just a few examples: Shawarma to Stitzel, and Spring rolls to Bao Buns. Some of her favorite ethnic foods from around the world. And for the Veg Heads there is something called a Grilled Cauliflower Steak. In the back of the restaurant is a large dining and event room, with outdoor seating. It is set up to handle a crowd. Check all of the pictures. There is Karaoke and live bands on the weekend. The music genre is as varied as the restaurant's menu. We kept our lunch simple today with an Oklahoma Smash Burger. A big beef patty with cheese, dressed with L,T,P&O. A side of crispy fries completed the basket. I noticed something different about the burger on the first bite. The tomato. The tomato had an unmistakable home-grown flavor. If you know, you know. I asked. Sure enough, grown in her husband's garden. An excellent burger. Great food, great owner and from looking at the pictures a fun place to spend the evening.

It's a cool, neat place with a bar area in the middle with seating around. We were quickly greeted and our server was prompt. He gave recommendations that definitely helped us on our decision. Wife had the meatloaf, very flavorful, hearty portion of meat served with fresh green beans and mashed potatoes. Definitely a must try. I had the roast beef, mashed potatoes with brown gravy and fresh sautéed green beans. The roast beef was tender, flavorful and the meal was plenty for the price. Highly recommend this plate. If we're ever in the area, we definitely coming back. Tremendous!!

We were seated upstairs and I really got the vibe that this restaurant could have been in Taos, Red River, or Crested Butte. It's vintage and retro but elevated a bit (if that makes sense). We ordered immediately and I asked about the Pesto Bowl (which was a special). Was told it used to be on the menu about 6 years ago and they were thinking about bringing it back. It was pesto, pasta and veggies but you could add a protein for no extra cost. I just went with the plain bowl (no protein). The Hubs ordered the Steak Dianne ("A throwback to the 1960s"). Thought that was a cool entree to feature. It came with charred (in a good way) Brussel sprouts and delicious mashed potatoes underneath the steak and mushrooms. My basil bowl was pretty good too. The pesto had a great flavor and the veggies were just cooked perfectly--still crisp and not mushy. Only negative was that there was a lot of liquid in the bottom of my bowl. Again, I would return here.

We didn't have much hope of finding a restaurant still open after 8:30 in a small, rural town and worried we'd have to drive far out of our way to find something to eat, but we spied this charming bar glowing across the street. What an oasis! We walked in to find a cool watering hole with a safari theme, complete with real taxidermied African animals on the wall and creative lighting that was fun, inviting and surprisingly chic. Our waitress was helpful and nice and had great drink and food suggestions. The fare was quite good and again, more than we expected. We were impressed they graciously marked vegetarian items as such in their menu which was much appreciated by the vegetarian in our troupe. We also LOVED their version of a Long Island Iced Tea, which we highly recommend if you're ever there. It was a great place to unwind and debrief from our event and being late on a weeknight, we pretty much had the place to ourselves, so it was the perfect ending to our time in Sedan. A nice meal here was just what we needed to fuel our long, late night journey back to the city.
