We tried using the cd player but many cds were missing. The tv in the living room only had channels 1-20 working. The fridge filter needs to be changed and it makes a weird noise when it's opened. The primary toilet seems low pressure and not flushing. We loved being close to the amphitheater and the bus was convenient to get to west vail. Would stay here again in summer or winter!

Because of the numerous fires in the vicinity (not their fault), it was necessary to keep all doors and windows closed and they learned then there was NO AIR-CONDITIONING in unit 304. Either the owners were too cheap to have it installed or it was broken, but the rooms were sweltering. The front desk (Hunter) claimed he couldn't do anything about it and when my son and his pregnant wife said they had to leave early do to the heat of the rooms and opening the windows filled the unit with smoke, they claimed there would be NO REFUND FOR THE NIGHTS NOT USED!! This new management company - VAIL MGT should be ashamed of their customer service and lack of information provided concerning units they rent. We'll be addressing this with the BBB shortly unless VAIL MANAGEMENT follows up with me in the very near future. If VAIL MANAGEMENT makes good on these charges, I will be happy to post a retraction. THE BALL IS IN YOUR COURT VAIL MANAGEMENT.

It is close enough to the Beaver Creek shops to walk there for lunch or dinner. There is a path that leads from just outside the property down to Avon; 2.5 miles down and 600' plus in elevation change back up! With Covid restrictions in place, we enjoyed the hot tub and pool to ourselves one afternoon. The room was quiet, nicely furnished, and had amazing views of the mountain. Covered parking under the hotel completed the arrangements, and we even were able to see a couple of deer browsing at the base of one of the ski lifts that runs adjacent to the property. The only downside was our door wouldn't latch properly, and the maintenance had gone home for the evening, so that made it tough to believe our belongings were secure in the room. For meals we found better deals by driving down to Avon with a more relaxed vibe.

They were so diligent, keeping the camp clean (especially the toilets!), preserving the natural beauty of the campground, enforcing the rules about protecting the park from the serious threat of fires, and just generally being fun to talk to. Between site 8 and 9 has best views of the mountains. Go somewhere else if you don't give a crap about burning down the forest and don't want to stick to rules set respect other campers.

They had a mini fridge, a fire place that was not real but you could turn it on to get it heat, a tv, some dishes that you could use, a microwave. The beds were comfy. There are only maybe 6-7 rooms available and it is in a wonderful location. It was so close to many of the hikes we had planned on doing for the weekend. only a 5-10 minute drive to the hikes from the lodge. Not much in the tiny town of grant though for restaurants but that is okay. We brought a lot of food with us to sustain us through the weekend. The owners were great. The room was clean. This is a new place and still shaping up the place to make it an awesome place. The rv sites are super nice and level. There is no shade trees in the rv area. There is an access road by the facility but not too busy. They are right across the street from a river rafting company and a zip line spot and a running river. It is not a dangerous campground like the negative reviewer states. Showers are clean and really nice. Clean restrooms and the store area is shaping up nicely. This place will be so cool once done. You do get interstate noise but nothing terrible, but expected as you are close to the interstate. The photo is of our tent spot #6. We will be back.

There were four of us fishing and they provided two guides which was perfect as we had someone in our group who had never fly fished before and he was able to get more 1:1 instruction from guide Ryan. The more experienced anglers went with Joe, both guides were incredible and worked their butts off to get us on fish. We booked four hours and it was nonstop action from start to finish. I personally landed somewhere around 30 fish with some of them being serious toads, I broke my personal best several times during the day. The guides were willing to be as hands on or hands off as we wanted and provided tons of great insight and knowledge to use on future DIY trips. Having fished all over the country this was honestly the best four hours I've ever spent on the water and can't wait to make an annual trip out of it. I'm sure these guys would take care of you on a summer trip but if you get a chance to do a winter trip don't sleep on it!!

Nice pool and hot tub, you can also use the ones at the main hotel.
