I was the type of bride who had no clue what to do with her hair, and Samantha walked me through some ideas and we chose a look I loved. They are very moderately priced (especially compared to other salons that jack up prices when you attach the word "wedding" to it) and their travel fee was next to nothing. To be honest, the stylists seem great but I cannot stomach the filth. Hair in every corner, bathrooms and sinks not sanitary. I'm not sure how this place passes inspection. It's a shame. read more

I'm so happy I found 5 Diamond Salon and booked their services for hair and makeup for myself and by bridal party on my wedding day! Samantha was very responsive and helpful via email, including creating a schedule for the morning of the wedding and helping book my trial appointment. I did my hair and makeup trial in person at the salon with Jaci and even with pretty limited guidance on makeup and showing her just a couple hair inspiration photos, she created a look that I really liked! Jaci did all the makeup on my wedding day and Nicole did the majority of the hair. They were an efficient team and arrived early to set up. The bridesmaids and my mom were all happy with how they looked and it was fun and relaxing to get ready together with the whole group at our airbnb. My mom and my MIL were nervous as they hadn't had their makeup done before, but they both looked perfect and loved their looks. Jaci was an absolute pleasure to work with and went above and beyond. She did my hair and makeup for our engagement photos, and did my cut and color before the wedding (which I loved). On July 28th I got my hair done by Mikayla. I came in looking for a dark maroon with some layers (first referenced picture).Before the appointment I was asked if I had a budget and I said no because i knew it would be a bit to get my hair this color especially since I had long dark hair. I showed her the referenced picture once we started but that was the only time she looked at it. She never asked to see the color again even when she started mixing the dye. I was never showed the color before it was put into my hair but I didn't say anything. When I finally saw the color after my hair was finished I was a bit disappointed because of how bright and magenta the color actually was. I was even more shocked at the end when it came to the price. With everything including the tip I paid about $400. I know I was asked if I had a budget but I was never given an estimated price and i didn't know that was the price rage. Regardless I still payed for the service and gave a tip for her time. On August 14th I went on vacation to the Bahamas. It had been about 2 and half weeks since getting my hair done. Of course at the Bahamas I spent time swimming in the ocean. The first day there half of the color had already washed out of my hair. By the second day I barely had any red and was left with a washed out pink/blonde. By the end of the trip my hair was completely blond with no trace of pink. I was only there for four days. I was disappointed how easily the color washed out especially for how much I paid. I was devastated because it felt like a waste of money. I reached out and explained what had happened with my hair. In response I was told all the factors that could have played into the color being washed out. I was offered an appointment to get my hair done with a more permanent color. I honestly just don't want my hair done again here and have to pay for any service. I wish I had just left my hair alone but now it feels dry and damaged and looks washed out. Overall I didn't get what I asked for and paid a lot for my hair to be washed out and ruined in a month. read more

I cannot recommend 5 Diamond Salon enough. I worked with Samantha leading up to my wedding and Makayla did bridal makeup and makeup for two mothers and six bridesmaids. Samantha was incredibly responsive throughout my planning process and only became more so as we drew closer to the wedding. I met with Makayla months before the wedding for a makeup trial and knew we were in good hands! Makayla travelled to the bridal suite, was early, and felt like one of the girls all morning long. She was exceptionally professional listening to every girls wishes while keeping to the timeline. Her work was absolutely stunning! I felt comfortable all day long and looked like a queen. The professionals from the salon were so great to have with us for the morning. They were social, friendly, and amazing to work with. The hair and makeup for all of the girls looked fabulous, and I received SO many compliments on my hair and makeup. My makeup was exactly what I was looking for- not too much, and very natural looking, and the 'creation' that Amanda did with my hair was amazing. This was the worst salon I have ever been too! I felt like a test dummy the entire time I was there. I made an appointment with the owner Sam and it took 3 people to do my hair. By the time I left the salon, it did not even look like I colored my hair. The ends looks lighter and that's it. I had an apprentice tone my hair out. I get that she is learning it is not her fault and then some girl that works there was making sure she was doing it okay. But before that, when the apprentice washed my hair she said she would be right back because the owner wanted my hair toned. Took her 10 mins to come back with the toner. It took two people to blow dry my hair. It was just really awkward. When I left, one side of my hair looked good and the other side looked horrible. You could tell who had experience and who didn't. I made an appointment with the owner for a reason. I would never ever go there again. I went to a different salon to have them fix my hair and the girl was amazed on how brassy it was and it was 4 weeks a go that I got my hair done. She fixed it and it was the color I wanted. I only picked this salon because it had great reviews and boy was I wrong. read more
