I had a 90 minute massage today that literally had me crying in my car after my service. I booked my service online and requested a quiet appointment and to let her know that I have fibromyalgia. Not only was Chelly thoughtful about my needs, but also my request for quiet. I felt heard and that is valued. The ebb and flow of her skills and technique on top her knowledge and experience led to the most enjoyable massage. Won't be getting my nails done here anymore. Was just charged over $100.00 for a service they did not provide. Their policy is to send 2 text message reminders for appointments and I did not receive any last time. When I asked about this, I was told they are 'not obligated to send reminders'? When I make appointments I specifically ask if I'll be getting a text reminder and double check my phone on file because I rely on them. They said I would be receiving a reminder. Can't have it both ways. Either give client reminders or don't. Regardless, charging someone FULL PRICE because they miss an appt is ridiculous and should not be legal. In addition, last time I got a massage, the woman talked the entire time, and I had to ask her 7 times to not apply so much pressure. read more

My hair was washed and wet, I just needed to straighten my wavy hair. Lakahna took 1hr to blow dry and flat iron, and the result was terrible. Never again!! 1star service! Paid $68.50 I also had a massage with Annelys. 5 stars skills!! 60 min for $115.50. It was worth it. Will go again. read more

Went here for a few Brazilian wax, first appointment of the morning I believe. The whole place was very nice, upstairs at the spa had a very calming vibe. Nancy was so nice and helped try to distract me during the wax since it's been a couple years since I've had one. My only problem was that when I was done I didn't check to make sure I liked how everything looked on myself after, I did have a couple patches of hair missed on the top of the public bone and there were some areas I had to go back to pluck or shave so my hair didn't grow back uneven. I also did squirm a little on the table since of course it hurts the first time in years, so it also could have just been me. I know I should have checked to see how it looked before leaving so part of that is my fault but I also expected a slightly better wax result for $76. There was also no powder used to help prevent the wax from pulling so much on the skin itself, I know not every place does that but it's always helped me in the past. There was also some strings of wax still on me when I got home that weren't too comfortable to pull off with how sore I was. Overall good experience with the staff and the environment, but the wax results in itself wasn't quite what I was hoping for. read more

I leaned over and strained my back last weekend - called Spa ni Joli to see if they had an availability for a massage a lucky me they did! My technician was IAN! We chatted about where the pain was. Boy! Best massage I have EVER had! He concentrated on my back, glutes and thighs. He warned me this wasn't going to feel great, but it would help! After the massage was done he showed me some gentle stretches that would help my sciatica. I woke up the next day - completely pain free!!! I received a gift card for my birthday last year to the Spa. I kept forgetting about it since this isn't a place I usually go to. I called and was greeted by a nice gentleman to make the appt. Arrived and was very impressed with the spa. I had Emily who was amazing. One of the BEST massages I've had in a long time. I do a lot of hiking in the white mountains and my back was pretty tight. Michelle gave the best massage that I ever had. She has a calm demeanor and is attentive to her clients' needs. I have left a massage many times, wondering how effective it really was, not this time. I would recommend her 10x over! This was easily the best massage experience I've ever had. The staff at the desk are welcoming and offer refreshments when you check in, which was a nice touch. I had my hair corrected by Abby because I had been bored during the pandemic and made a few attempts at highlighting my own hair. Bad idea! I wanted a balayage for my naturally super dark and over processed hair that wouldn't be brassy. Feeling so happy with what Abby was able to do. Also Abby is just a delight to spend those hours in the Salon with. Easy flowing and natural conversation when I am feeling chatty and follows my lead when I'm lost in my thoughts or my phone. She provides recommendations (which I appreciate) but never pushes products or hair services if I'm not interested, which I really appreciate. I would definitely recommend trying Abby! read more

I appreciated the little touches Sandra gave during the facial (scalp massage during a treatment, extended facial massage following dermaplaning, and hand and arm massage during a mask, when a lot of estheticians just clean up or leave the room). I have been a customer for years and love the individuals I see for my services but charging 50% if you have to make a cancellation in 24 hours is way too much. A small fee if you miss your appointment, or a reasonable fee for canceling in 24 hours but not 50%. On top of it, multiple times we (my daughter and I) have been called the morning of a massage over the last few months to cancel because they don't have the help. Do we get 50% off? No, just a sorry. I don't mind that they canceled because things come up, but I don't see where that's fair. Unfortunately this will be my last trip to the spa, which is too bad. read more
