I visited Five Star Massage again 3/4/21. I love this place because I feel safe and also valued as a customer. They take your temperature on entry and take you to a clean room, with a little portable heater for the morning cool times. You get undressed and lay under a towel face down. The girl will ask you for your choice of pressure, soft, medium or hard. I like medium/soft. You also get your choice of lotion or oil, or neither. After half an hour you flip over and get scalp, face, arms, chest, and foot massage. All the time, pleasant background Chinese music relaxes you. Sometimes the girl will even sing to you, and you feel very important. People ask me "who do I choose?". It does not matter . Usually 3 or 4 girls are working; they are all good. Occasionally have a work schedule problem and they will even open the shop before 10:00. (by appointment). If I would ask them to change anything, maybe addition of hot stones would be nice, especially this winter. My experience is that generous tips are appreciated but I have never been pressured like at some shops. I will definitely repeat, maybe again next week! read more

This is my first time here. I was skeptical because of the reviews, but I thought I'd try anyway. The massage itself wasn't too bad. I've been to a lot of massage businesses like this one and it wasn't any better or worse than most of them. However, when I told her, I was just gonna tip seven dollars she asked if I would tip 10 and I said if it was a full hour, I would have, but it was only half an hour massage. And she said she was going to charge me one dollar for using credit card. I thought it was on that she charged my credit card before the massage and then she wanted it again afterwards just for the tip part. She never mentioned anything about about a dollar service charge in the beginning. I don't like services where they try to get more money out of you. I won't be back. read more

I can't even give this place a star. First of all the service was suppose to be a 90 minute massage , it was only for 60 minutes. After paying & tipping. The lady that massaged me was asking for more tip. I tipped $10 and they were asking for $15 because they said they did a 90 minute. Which they didn't. I don't appreciate when people has the audacity to even ask for tip. It's optional but of course common courtesy we tip for their service but to ask. That's ridiculous. read more

Went to this place after bowling with friends next door. This place is really cheap, only $30 for an hour body massage. The lady that massaged me was named Helen and she did a very good job. I asked for a hard pressure massage and she was able to do that with little effort. She took out the kinks in my hamstring and lower back. She was quiet which I like because I prefer to just close my eyes and get my back worked on instead of conversing with the therapist. Have visited this MP several times and am very happy overall with the service. Helen has great hands and can always help work out those stress knots that we all get. Having some remodeling going on at the house and don't have the use of my master bathroom shower and seek any opportunity to use someone's or some place's shower. After getting off from work early (1pm) I didn't want to go home early because of the workmen and the noise, clutter, etc. and I was hungry and tired so I stopped at an Italian restaurant next door to this massage parlor, I stuffed myself with the rich Italian all-you-can-eat buffet, a glass of wine, and sat there afterwards for 15 minutes watching a re-broadcast of a Dodger game, I was just beat (tired), sore, and stiff. I'm a pipefitter. It was still to early to go home as the workmen don't leave until around 5pm. I've eyed this 5-star massage place a week earlier from afar and wondered what it would be like getting a massage, I didn't dwell on it too much and went about my business. Well, today after I left the Italian restaurant I stood outside in the sun and Summer heat and wondered if I could get a table shower at the massage place, so I decided to mosey over to the massage parlor's front window and nonchalantly peer in to see what I could see. I really was hesitant as I have never patronized such a place before, I've had massages previously from girlfriends (good ones too!) As I began to squint and peer through the window I was baffled as I only saw a wall, a potted plant, and a curtain, no people. I was already unimpressed and was moving away when suddenly a young Asian female burst through the rose-pink curtain, she was lovely and had an attractive figure, she was tall for an Asian. Our eyes met through the glass for only a split second, it was like an ambush hunter surprising it's prey (she was the hunter). I seemingly subconsciously moved back to and opened the door, I have "entered the dragon". Immediately an older Asian woman took control of the moment and stated $35 for an hour massage, naively I agreed being overwhelmed with thoughts of what is to come. I had the where-with-all to ask if they have table shower service, she said they have regular shower service (soap, shampoo, wash cloth, and towel) I said Okay I'll take it. She escorted me back to a massage cubicle which was next to the shower room. She gave me a washcloth and towel. I disrobed in the cubicle, wrapped myself in the towel and preceded to the shower, it felt so good, there was shower gel, shampoo, and plenty of hot water. I showered myself and was greatly relieved. As I was toweling myself dry, I immediately became excited about the impending massage and especially the masseuse, would it be that tall attractive Asian female I saw earlier? I wrapped myself in the now wet towel and walked back to my cubicle. In only a short time another Asian female walked in, it wasn't the tall one I was hoping for. She told me to lay face down on the massage table. Bear in mind I've never patronized such a place before and this new experience was panning out and I was enjoying the moment. She took the towel and there I was all exposed in all one's glory. I laid down on the table, nestled into the face port, I was very comfortable. She proceeded to massage my back, buttock, and legs. She immediately realized I like a hearty massage by my moans, groans, and sighs of pleasure. I could tell she was pleased by my subliminal approval of her massage. She shifted muscle, bone, and blood to every part of my back, I loved every minute of it, and I didn't want it ever to end. I could have laid there for hours. She had experience, good technique(s), used massage gel, hot towels and wasn't shy. After my almost all-inclusive back massage she told me to roll over, she continued the massage by rubbing down my belly for some time. For my first professional massage I was impressed, it was reasonably priced, thoroughly satisfying, and I tipped her generously. It was a happy ending to a hot day's hard work. Really disappointed in today's experience. I have been a loyal customer here for over a year and after today I will not be returning. Massages are paid before service (I got my usual 90min for $45 which I paid in cash). I was then led into a room where I could undress and await my service. I am not usually picky about massages but this was by far the worst. Barely any lotion or oil used which caused great discomfort and pain, plus this woman was digging into my skin quite hard which only added to the unpleasantness. The receptionist and my masseuse would talk in another language as I was being worked on, and c'mon that was just uncomfortable and unprofessional. Later on my masseuse's cell phone rings and she leaves. She tried saying something to me but all I could understand was mother and later. She returns and continues the massage, which was finally getting better. I kept waiting for my favorite part (facial and scalp massage w I'll th shoulders) and nope she skipped that entire thing. So I got dressed and gave her a $7 cash tip (it wasn't a good experience but I felt at least a little something was necessary) this is where it got really bad. The woman had the nerve to tell me not enough I said that's all I have sorry, I'll have to remember for next time. She dismissively waves her hand at me and says no next time with very obnoxious attitude. I am so bummed out because I used to love this place, but after this experience I will be going elsewhere for my massages, places like this are a dime a dozen around here. read more

We got there last Thursday for a couple body massages. It was rush, doesn't feel like massage at all. The time break likely 10' for each time they taking things. The session ended in 50' and I did not feel anything. They were pretty rushed. I spent $60 for 2 of us. It was not that good at all. read more
