But when I got there they said cash is better because they have to charge a service fee if I use card. Had I known they preferred cash I would've brought more cash. She was kinda just pinching and rubbing my skin. So I came home still sore and in pain which sucked. My biggest issue was that she barely used any lotion or oil. She only used oil on my back and arms for a little bit and she didn't remove the oil from my arms. She mostly did the entire massage completely dry and she was basically giving me rug burn the whole time. Also, she didn't try to keep me covered at all during massage, had they put me in the big room with multiple beds I definitely would've been really uncomfortable. Lastly, in the beginning of the massage, the masseuse was texting on her phone with the ringer fully on which was distracting. She also left her phone on the table right next to my head. Personally, when I'm practically naked getting a massage, I'd prefer if the masseuses didn't have their phones in the room with me at all because it felt like an invasion of privacy. And when I was getting dressed to leave she didn't close the door. For the price, there are definitely other massage places on that street that don't do any of these things that I believe are a more professional and have better value and quality. This was an impromptu massage that will never happen again. The 3 of us walked in hoping to pass some time while we waited for dinner. 1 person chose the "foot massage," which apparently is a full body massage for $30/hr. If you truly wanted feet only, it's $15 extra - weird. Because we didn't have appointments, we had to wait 15 min extra for the previous customers to finish. While waiting, the receptionist (who also looked like the boss) asked us to quiet down our conversation because there were guests nearby. Fine, no problem. Except when a man came in, whom she clearly knew, and started chatting loudly with her...she didn't say anything to him. Hypocrite much? Fast forward to the massage. All 3 of us are shown into a room with 3 masseuses, 1 of whom was a male. No issues with that except they failed to tell us how we should undress and we were clearly uncomfortable with him in the room. They held up a cloth wrap behind us and motioned to us to undress, but didn't say a word. I let the masseuse know that I only wanted the upper part of my body massaged and the boss told me it'd be $15 extra for them to do half the body. How does it make sense to pay more for less surface area? I refused and she said I could lessen my time in return, then proceeded to halve my hour! The masseuse kept forgetting to stay above the waist and perhaps this is new to me, but I've never been straddled during a massage. She straddled me from behind when working on my lower back and then climbed on the table, with her legs on either side of my head to massage my mid-back. I am a petite 5'0" gal...no one has ever needed to go through such lengths to cover every aspect of my little body. At the end of the session, which wasn't even the full 30 min, the boss questioned our tipping amounts. $6 for a $30 massage is 20% and more than generous considering the experience, but she felt that we shouldn't tip on a percentage. Was she really expecting a flat rate for that? Last time we checked, tips were optional and based on whatever amount we felt was necessary. Boss lady begrudgingly accepted the tips anyway. This was my first time trying KungFu Foot Massage with a friend, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience from beginning to end. We booked the 70-minute massage for $40, but in reality, we only received about 50-55 minutes of massage. That would have been somewhat acceptable if the service had been good--but it wasn't. We were assigned one male and one female staff member. Throughout the entire session, they kept talking loudly to each other in their own language, and even spoke to other people outside the room. It completely ruined the peaceful environment we expected from a massage experience. On top of that, they frequently used their phones during the session, which is incredibly unprofessional and made it feel like we were not being respected as customers. My friend mentioned that the male masseuse clearly had no training or skill. It felt like he was just randomly placed there to fill in a spot. His massage was inconsistent, lacked any real technique, and honestly felt like he didn't know what he was doing at all. After the session, they gave us water and walked us to the front. But as we were stepping out the door, they physically stopped me by grabbing my hand and made repeated gestures (speaking in Chinese) that we had to give them more tips. It wasn't just one time--they insisted again and again, making us feel very pressured and uncomfortable. When I gave them a cash tip, they reacted rudely and said "What??" as if the amount wasn't enough. It felt greedy, ungrateful, and completely inappropriate. We booked a massage for 6 people for 5 pm this Sunday. We presented your website Special Promo Pampering Package for $29.99 which was supposed to include 1 hr massage & free Hot Stones. We showed it to Mgr Cindy & another guy who does not speak very good English. They both said ok. My masseuse who was wearing a brown outfit was great. However, 4 of us did not get hot stones as promised by the promo. My husband whose massage started late like 5:20pm was short changed. They ended his massage after 45 min only. This is highly unacceptable! It appears that there was poor time management & short staffing as the mgr kept on piling up other clients while massages were still going on. Worst massage I've ever had. I did a 1 hr massage for the $30 deal. The customer service was poor - My masseuse didn't tell me to change, just left and I found the gown under a sheet that I deduced I was supposed to change into. She returned after literally 15-20 seconds and came in while I was changing (I had barely taken my shoes and pants off!). She grabbed my gown and tried to put in on for me. I insisted she stop and I put it on myself, but I don't think she spoke more than a few words of English.
