The repair itself is flawless, panel gaps, paint match, everything lines up like it came off the line that way. On a G-Wagon that's not a given; plenty of shops will happily take a swing at one and hand you back something that's almost right. This isn't that. But the part that really made the difference was the insurance side. Dealing with the at-fault carrier is normally a part-time job you didn't apply for, endless calls, lowball estimates, supplements that go nowhere. Alex handled all of it. He knew exactly what to push back on and how to document it, and I basically just got updates instead of headaches. Zero fighting on my end. He also does diminished value reports, which I didn't even know was a thing I should be asking about. A car like this loses real money on paper just from having an accident on the record, and he walked me through recovering that. If you've been hit and nobody's mentioned diminished value to you, ask him about it. Bonus: the man knows the local food scene better than most people who write about it for a living. I didn't get there as a tweak in the door itself caused my overhead lights to stay on and drain my battery. I arranged for a friend to take me home, expecting to leave the car for at lrast the afternoon. But manager (I did not get hois name) said it would just be a half hour. He called over a ytechnician and 20 minutes later the car was ready! I had some body damage and the manager quoted me a price apologetically, noting that Lexus Parts are super expensive. I said well, it's a 15 year old car - probably isn't even worth the cost of the repairs. I started to walk away and stopped, turned and said, "Wait, I haven't paid you!" And he said, "no charge". After contacting my insurance company, they referred me to Crash Champions based on their positive reviews. I decided to trust the recommendation and brought my car in for repairs. When I arrived, I worked with Rocky, who was professional and courteous. He instructed me to drop off my car on Tuesday and told me it would be ready by Friday. However, on Friday, I received a message from Rocky informing me that the car would not be ready due to an unexpected issue. He then rescheduled the pickup for Monday since the shop is closed on weekends. Unfortunately, Monday came and went, and the car was still not ready. I was told there was a delay because of a special paint requirement. My vehicle is a Toyota Camry, not a high-end exotic car, so I was surprised by the extended delay. Once again, I was promised the car would be ready the following day. Finally, I was notified that the repairs were complete. Since I was at work, I asked my wife to pick up the car. Upon pickup, she immediately noticed that the paint quality did not look right. After I got home and inspected the vehicle myself, I discovered that the paintwork was not properly completed. Before the repair, the paint on my car was in good condition aside from the dent. Unfortunately, the repair process appears to have caused additional damage to the paint, leaving the vehicle in worse condition than before. I am very disappointed with the outcome. I paid $1,000 out of pocket because I was unable to identify the person responsible for damaging my car and the rest for my insurance company, and I expected professional repairs that would restore my vehicle to its original condition.
