My friends & I have been loyal customers of Bliss Beauty Bar for quite some time. We genuinely love this salon. The nail technicians are talented, friendly & always do a wonderful job. The service itself is great, which makes this review disappointing to write. Unfortunately, the reason for my 2-star rating is the manager, Anna. I have never met anyone who talks as much as she does. Every single visit, we are subjected to hours of nonstop, loud conversations. Most appointments last 2-3 hours, and somehow the talking never stops for even a few minutes. Sometimes customers simply want to relax, enjoy a quiet moment, or even just sit peacefully while getting their nails done. That seems impossible when there is a constant stream of loud commentary in the background. What's even more concerning is that she occasionally scolds employees in front of customers and frequently shares personal stories and gossip that customers never asked to hear. The salon should feel calm and welcoming, not like being trapped in someone else's never-ending conversation. To be clear, this review is not directed at the nail technicians or the quality of their work. They are the reason we keep coming back. In fact, if Anna's nonstop talking were not part of the experience, I would happily leave a 5-star review. I sincerely hope the owner takes this feedback into consideration. Customers come to a nail salon to relax, recharge, and enjoy some peace. Please allow that experience to exist. Say what needs to be said, then let the guests enjoy their appointments. Came in for a gel pedicure and got their $45 Jelly pedicure with their gel french tip. I should've checked all my toes before I left because once I got home, I noticed that the way the lady shaped and painted the french tip on BOTH of my pinky toes made my nail look like it was tilting sideways. It was an inconvenience having to drive back to get it fixed but they were able to fix it. She wasn't going to fix my left pinky toe, almost seem like she was hesitant to do so but I made sure I informed her that it still looked crooked and asked if she could add more color to the left side of my toe nail. I had the worst experience here. If I could give this place zero stars, I definitely would. I have been here twice already and the second time I went the lady doing my toes was very rude and injured my feet so much when I told her my feet felt like they were burning she dismissed what I told her and told me that it means it is working. It hurts so bad I felt like crying the other nail tech doing my nails told her something, and the girl took a little bit more precaution. She then saw that I had open wounds and quickly started to wash off the product, but she continued to tell me how bad my feet were and be rude. I was there for three hours and paid over the price. It's been twice in a row I come here and unfortunately I get the same girl to do my nails. I kept telling her the colors I wanted, I asked her to show me the cat eye colors and she just decided to ignore me and proceeded with the color she chose. I asked for the third time to show me the samples and said this is the one you want. I said no, and showed her the correct one. She didn't acknowledge me and walked off annoyed... Then one of my nails was not filed and looked crooked, after pointing it out serval times. I had to go home and file myself. The previous time I had to go back again because my nail was crooked after she took forever to file since she noticed but was lazy to redo it. She always laughs and makes me feel uncomfortable when I bring up a concern with my nails. For spending so much money here; She specifically needs to get off her high horse and be a little more grounded. She left a bad taste in my mouth after giving the place another shot. Sadly I got her again. Unfortunately I didn't get her name. So I'd rather just not go back at all and risk the chance of getting her.
