Had to repair the garage door bracket that holds the door opener to the wall, after a problem stemming fromanother company putting in an under-sized spring. The resulti of that was a sheared metal bracket and a big hole in my garage wall above the door. Fantastic customer service - answered the phone on Memorial Day and came out the next day. It was implied he would come out if it was an emergency on the holiday, but I made it clear that it was not. Good to know I have a place to call if we ever do have a garage emergency. Showed up right on time, and returned within the window given. Great communication throughout. Anyway, he came out and saw we had a large, heavy custom 9-ft door. The busted spring was not standard/stocked size. He measured and came back 3 hours later with a custom cut spring and got it installed quickly. I was given pricing ahead of the spring being ordered and given the all-in price. I'm new-ish to the burbs and still getting used to zip code sticker shock, but I felt like the value was good. Was worried I'd be hit with an estimate that would hurt summer plans but that was not the case at all. Very good experience overall. read more
