Initial contact: They were extremely responsive when I reached out and I loved being able to schedule online (and there was a solid amount of availability. At the appointment: When it came time for the appointment, the technician (who was on time and fully communicative) went above and beyond in the best way. Not only did the technician answer my 100 questions and concerns about smart locks, but he also advised me my options with different locks throughout the property to balance safety and cost. I thought they would only replace the locks but they also were able to replace the doornobs, offering several appealing options in the style I wanted. They had a variety of options for locks too - regular door locks, deadbolts, and smart lock varieties. They even cleaned off the door all around the doornob because it was dirty and looked a little gross! My biggest joy has to be that they were able to use the same locks on multiple doors so we could use one key for all the doors, which is a lifesaver because I was startingbri appear as a janitor with so many keys, lol. After it was all done, they made me a bunch of copies of the key, which was helpful and honestly unexpected because I thought I'd have to go to Lowes after to do that myself given the million and one copies we needed for various family members. Vibes: it was such a seamless experience with an incredibly friendly, helpful, technician who treated my house with respect (eg no outside shoes inside) and was patient with my questions/concerns. Cost: Pricing was all competitive with other companies I considered. Overall: An excellent experience; I'll only be using Danny Keys for my future lock change needs and recommending them to my friends and neighbors!

During the first visit, I was given the option of either re-keying my existing locks or replacing them entirely. I chose to have the locks re-keyed, thinking that would be sufficient. What I didn't realize was that re-keying can result in issues with how the key fits and operates in the lock. That service cost $900. Unfortunately, the new keys frequently got stuck halfway into the locks, making it difficult to unlock the doors. The company returned and spent about an hour adjusting the locks to improve the fit. I was not charged for that follow-up visit. While the keys worked better afterward, they still weren't operating as smoothly as they should. So, after another month of continuing to struggle with the keys, I decided to replace all of the doorknobs and deadbolts instead. That service cost an additional $1,299. The one positive throughout this experience was that the staff was always friendly and courteous.

I'm still waiting for "management" to call me about providing emergency assistance for my door after their technician failed to show up for our appointment this morning. That was nearly 7 hours ago. The garage door is currently being held up by one small cable.

All the do- it- yourself usual fixes failed. I called Robert Garage Door. The woman who answered the call explained the process, indicated there was no cost for an evaluation and gave me window time frames that a technician would be available. I asked for an evaluation. Within that given time frame, a technician, Nick, called to advise me that he would be arriving in 15 minutes. Nick was personable and professional. He explained the issue that was occurring with my garage door, recommended a solution, and advised me of the cost of the solution. In response to my question, he gave me an estimate of the time required to complete the repairs. In spite of the fact that Nick was working in a hot garage on a day when the heat index was over 100 degrees, he stayed focused and completed the job with his time estimate and for the fee quoted. I respect that man's tenacity and work ethic. Nick was also good at answering my questions about maintaining my garage door. There is nothing good about having a garage door that malfunctions. But once my garage door was broken, dealing with the personnel at Robert's Garage Doors made getting back to normal life as easy as possible. On April 2, 2026, I placed an order for a new garage door with the owner, Alex Caraus, and provided a $500 deposit via Zelle to expedite the order and mitigate potential tariff-related cost increases. Following this, I received no updates regarding the status of the order. I reached out via phone and text on April 13, 23, 28, and May 5 to confirm the order status and expected installation timeline. It took 54 days from my initial deposit for the door to be installed. The installation itself was grueling; a single technician arrived at 12:30 p.m. and did not finish until nearly 10:00 p.m. Upon completion, I immediately paid the remaining $2,300 balance via Zelle as requested. The owner assured me that an invoice would be emailed that evening, yet I received no documentation or receipt. Despite subsequent attempts to contact the owner via phone, text, and email on June 12, 16, and 18, I remained ignored until finally receiving an inaccurate invoice on June 18. The invoice stated Amount due $2700.00, Amount paid $0.00 In the notes on the bottom of the invoice stated, "Paid in Full" "2-year warranty". The original invoice and on their website, it states 3 year parts and labor warranty. The invoice stated $2700.00 due. I paid a $500.00 deposit on April 2nd and $2300.00 on May 26. The total amount I paid as per the technician request $2800.00 uytu I have tried getting a corrected invoice showing I paid in full, and that I have a 3 year parts and labor warranty. Alex has not responded to my calls, texts and emails. Would not recommend this company.

They did patchwork with asphalt and there were lots of black asphalt rocks all over, stuck to the driveway. I wasn't looking for money back or anything, but I did let Carlos know, and he never responded to me which really bugged me. This is probably the fourth time I've had my driveway done in the 27 years and I've never had this happen.
