Multiple tree swings, great if you have kids.

Such a great spot! Huge outdoor area with plenty of seating and a really relaxed, welcoming vibe. It's super pet-friendly and perfect if you want to hang out for a while without feeling rushed. There's lots of space to spread out, and the tree-covered setting makes it feel peaceful and shaded. They have a brewery and winery on site, plus a bakery with sourdough pizza, burgers, and baked goods everything we tried was great. There are also swings and open space for kids to play, and live music adds to the atmosphere. Perfect place to come with friends, family, or dogs and just enjoy the day.

Recommend: Yes. They have something for everyone Food: I didn't try any food from their restaurant (Slingers) but did have BBQ from the food truck (Thorn Hill BBQ) that was there. We did try a beer, wine (Ostatu Rosado), and coffee (maple latte). All were delicious. Service: The service was great! All of our questions were answered and even got some great recommendations on coffee to try. We sat outside and it started getting chilly so we asked for a fire to get started in one of their pits. They were so nice and quick about it. Ambiance: Loved it! They had live music playing for a while. As the evening came, the lights hanging from the trees were lit and it looked so beautiful. The fire pit added to the ambiance, so warm. . There is plenty of seating inside as well.

So, they have wine, coffee, beer and a kitchen. Plenty of parking, plenty of seating indoor and a lot of room outdoors. Still too hot for a fire pit, but it's nice in the shade. Wasn't too busy at 1-2 pm, but come around 3-4 more people came. Lots of kids running around, but they do have an outdoor section for adults only. Kitchen was open, I think. I got a pretzel, with beer cheese, but the cheese got cold. I had the Shepard boy IPA, very drinkable. The warrior Shepard, another IPA also drinkable. I ended with the OX, and English ale. Very good and light and also very drinkable. Wish we could have stayed longer, but we will be back.

Tough day at work (actually tough week) and need a beer to unwind. Stoped by 5 Stones because it's near my house and I've been there before. They sell really good craft beer. I'm partial to the German beers, so I had a 16 oz Kolsch. I also got a pretzel. Both hit the spot. Nice location out in the country between Garden Ridge and New Braunfels. They Have indoor seating as well as tables and chairs outside. I sipped my beer in a rocking chair outside while the past week's stress seemed to evaporate. Nice location, wonderful service, and delicious food and beer. I highly recommend

This brewery was worth the trip from North side of San Antonio. Excellent relaxing ambience.

Great stouts (when in season) and great beer all around, bakery is delicious and the staff are even better! A must stop in and when around town.

Great beer, great ambiance, friendly servers, and great place to unwind. They should have a nice sign at the entrance so more people notice it.

I'd say within about 15 or 20 minutes. I think it's advertised as a 12 inch maybe, it's really only enough for one maybe two if you're a light eater, for a basic pepperoni it was about $20! They do have some type of pizza subscription, which I thought was pretty interesting if you really love their pizza and order from them often. There was live music in one of the bar areas and the guy at the bar was friendly and helpful! My biggest complaint was the lack of outdoor fans and the swarms of mosquitoes that seem to eat us alive from the moment that we sat down so we only stayed for one beer each. I had the orange creamsicle and hubby have the nitro chocolate Stout and he loved it and said it tasted much like a candy bar! Plenty of local brews on tap, and there is a different selection at each bar! Hopefully they be able to address that mosquito problem as we'd like to go back!

After I ordered beer, I flipped the menu over to discover many more cocktail and wine options! We had Rueben's, turkey burger or the regular burger and we all enjoyed the food. My tots were sprinkled with a peppery seasoning that gave them a bit of kick and they were very crispy. I'd suggest them over the fries which were not as crisp. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the service, which has been reliably subpar over the years. The area is quite spacious - with 3 main areas for dining, and its own parking lot which is fantastic. Even though I was tempted for a good time going in the evening --- or even the weekend --- I had a bunch of errands today and chose rather to go for breakfast when the amount of people is few and the environment is just overall more relaxed. I'm glad I did. For my meal I ordered just one thing the Bauern Schnitzel. This dish is described as a "breakfast specialty featuring a hand-breaded pork schnitzel topped with two eggs and hollandaise sauce. This German-Texan fusion dish is served daily during morning hours and comes with a biscuit alongside your choice of home fries, hash browns, grits, or black beans." Within minutes of my order being placed, my food came out in about 5 minutes -- not too shabby! As you can see from the photo, it looked very appealing. How was the taste? Simply filling and comforting. It was rich, stick to your bones grub that you want every so often. Hash browns were crisp, and the schnitzel was fried perfectly and topped with my over easy eggs. Everything simply worked in unison for a flavorful combination. The biscuit was also something to mention. It was homemade, fluffy, and not dry whatsoever! If I weren't such an introvert, I'd love to visit in the evenings --- as fun as this experience was this morning. The space is beautiful and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
