On a lazy Saturday morning, the wife and I ventured away from the NB farmers market and saw reviews for Muck & Fuss. We got there 15 minutes before they opened but they quickly sat us. It filled up quickly. Our waiter Roman was spot on. We ordered a guacamole and queso appetizer, which was really, really good. The wife ordered a classic burger and I ordered the boneless wings that were being advertised. The wife really enjoyed her burger and the wings were good. Next time I am going to order one of their specialty burgers and possible one of their shakes. We are looking forward to them opening another site off 1604 & Bitters. Wow this must be the place to eat. My husband literally waited in line for several minutes outside only to get to the front and realize it was a line to be put on a waitlist lol. Luckily they text you when the tables ready so you're free to meander around the town or sit in the ac comfort of your car on a hot Texas summer day. We shopped as long as my bladder could make it and as we went back to the restaurant at least to just use the restroom, there ere 4 spots at the bar calling our name. Of note, we prefer sitting at the bar at any joint vs at a table. It's just a different experience. Food was on point. Not too heavy on a super hot summer day when you're about to go river it up in your swimsuit. Service was amazing. And the place was so open and upscale rustic barndominium style. Stopped in for lunch and had a wonderful time. I had a huge American Burger and Cajun Fries. Burger was on a Naegelin's roll, with fresh onion and just the right amount of juicy greasing trying to run down your arms. WOW. Incredible all around! Great service, incredible menu, beautiful spot, dog friendly patio what more could you want?! We had the freedom rings to start and they were incredible! Very delicious. We had the figgy stardust and aloha burgers and they were so tasty and somehow they were even better as leftovers. The loaded fries were wonderful and some so were the sweet potato fries. A fun spot with lots of personality. The decor is unique and adds to the overall experience, making it a great place to hang out for a meal. One of my favorite touches was that the milkshakes are served in mason jars. I ordered one of their seasonal shake flavors, and it was both fun and delicious. The main reason I picked this restaurant was because they had poutine on the menu. While it is definitely not traditional poutine, it was still flavorful and satisfied the craving. Just off the main city's roundabout in New Braunfels is the relaxed downtown restaurant, Muck & Fuss. Casual and pet friendly drew us to come eat here. Plenty of outdoor space for your 4 legged friends to chill while you are here. The free parking lot behind the building is convenient and a plus. Waitstaff was friendly and tentative. The freedom rings were as tasty as it looked. Opting to choose the Cobb salad with the Diablo topping was the smart choice for me. Wifey also turned her Travy Patty hamburger into a salad which was good. Both were good and the portion was more than enough to fill us up. We came here on a Friday so it was packed so there's a little bit of a weight. I don't think it matters sitting inside or outside because the inside was kind of warm anyway so we sat outside. They do have fans so it wasn't terribly uncomfortable. The staff is pretty good. They're all running around but you have a designated waitress and I seem to be just fine. Nice and had good recommendations. Food was good. We all were just kind of checking out what each other got. I don't know anyone that didn't like their food so I will say I recommend just depend depending on what you like. Some of the items are pretty big. This is my second time coming here, because the first time was so good! The wait is fast for the amount of people that come by. They have a dedicated parking lot and we've luckily gotten a spot every time we visit. This restaurant is a great place to eat after a long day at Schlitterbahn or going on the river. Both times, I got the Diablo burger with Cajun fries which were both cooked perfectly and very tasty. I prefer their outdoor seating when the weather's nice because indoor is very noisy. Stopped here on the way back from Austin. Got right in. Service was prompt and attentive. Spacious inside and outside seating as well. I ordered the all-American, extra patty with bacon. My son had a plain burger and his mom had the Cubano. We all loved them. Very delicious burgers. Also tried the crab cakes. A little on the small side but came with a lot of extras on the plate. We shopped the street while we waited for the text for our table. We ordered two burgers The Street Cred and the Breakfast burger. My Muck & Fuss experience. It was roughly 4p on a Wednesday. Walked up and stood at the hostess stand. One hostess said "hey." And walked inside. The third one asked if I'd been helped. I had not. It was hot so I requested indoors. They said it was full and the bar was full so I could get on the list. All good. Group of 6 comes by and gets on the list and says, "we'll wait at the bar." I pop my head in 2-3 minutes later and notice 3 of them sitting at bar. So there WAS space. Dang. Ok... 20 minutes later (which is not bad) I get a text that my table is ready. I walk up.. get seated at a dirty table. As I sit there I look around and the table of 6 that came in before me is at their dining table and had already been served drinks (kids too). It is VERY loud. Like I'd have to raise my voice to talk. Of course I didn't get a chance to talk because 5 minutes later I hadn't been acknowledged by anyone... so I figured this wasn't the place for me to spend money so I walked out.... Went to Krauses and had a wonderful meal. I don't know how the food tastes... because I never had that opportunity. But if you want to go somewhere and actually talk while in air conditioning... What a great find...... We stopped here after spending a couple of hours at a local park, we wanted an appetizer and cold beer. Maps lead us to a close by brewery but we didnt like any of the beers after sampling them, so we searched yelp and found this place. My husband and I ordered beers off there menu which had a decent selection, and we ordered a couple of appetizers to snack on, everything was great. We came to Muck & Fuss on a Sunday night as a meeting point with family between San Antonio and San Marcos. We were seated right away, and the staff were very friendly. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating, and the space is very family- and pet-friendly.
