Tonight I was absolutely appalled at the security staff. I have been coming here for years and don't even drink but always bring plenty of money to spend. However tonight I ran into a great friend of mine who i hadn't seen in a while. There's never a dull moment because we always laugh like crazy and have so much fun talking and enjoying our evening. However, while having a cigarette. I was drinking my Arizona tea when the security just came up to us and told us we were not allowed in because apparently we "didn't look right": What does that even mean? We were both dressed in good clothes and were not drunk or disrupting anyone and were excited to play black jack but apparently we're not allowed to have a conversation while laughing and smoking in the smoking area. They wouldn't even reason or stop profiling us to see that we were not doing anything wrong, we're sober and ready to spend money. I have never been treated so rudely by staff anywhere. If you drop in apparently you're not allowed to laugh and enjoy your time and may run the risk of them deciding you're not to their standards to walk in or they'll treat you like shit even after how much money you have spent there in the passed. Dear owner. Your customer service is horrible. One table open 4 players playing with 4 people waiting. Two players playing more than one hand, one of which was eating breakfast. so two open spots. Honestly when you have this situation there should be a one hand rule (I've been made to give up a hand before to accommodate players waiting) This is the norm for your place It's frustrating to those waiting but on the bright side you didn't take any of my money. The breakfast burrito that I purchased was very good. I especially enjoyed the salsa on the side.

New rule you have to order food and they put it on table on side. I order pizza and chicken wings to eat while playing poker. After while I look over and they threw it out(half eaten but wrote my name one box so they knew it was mine) I talk to floor person and he said he get me a replacement. I told him just pizza cause I did eat some of food. After while floor person came and said his manager would not let him replace the food they threw out. I ask to speak to manager, the manager seen me and turn and walk other way. The worst part of it all is I use to work there and was the casino host. Experienced another level of terrible service!!! Did not get her name supervisors name nor manager!!! What I will say is we walked at 7:30 and by 9 we still had not received food .. after asking why the people that sat down nearly twenty to thirty minutes after us was given food paid bill and had departed or near departure without causing a a seen no one could seem to exactly pin point.. I will say upon the first question the waitress said that there was a hair in my chorizo and eggs, but when delivered the food was as it had sat the whole hour that we have been waiting on our order and the hair had been pulled out and they were remaking it in the process nonetheless when the food was delivered, the eggs sat as well as all the rest of the food for the last 40 minutes and all the s that had happened was they pulled the hair out of the food and let it sit in the window upon bringing it . The server supervisor and managers attention everyone seem to have a lack of interest and did not care basically stated that they will take the food off, but we had to pay for the drinks. No apologies. No can I get you something. I feel Bally spoke to the manager and I said I didn't wanna cause a scene because I did not wanna cause a scene but I did want to inform him and he said thank you for not causing a scene.. lol. ( as if I would create the narrative I was in the wrong by being loud) and they could spend their narrative their way . It is highly unlikely for me but to do something other than speak, my truths . There was no respect for me as a person as a human being as a Patreonof this establishment. I felt dehumanize. I felt like crying, but I did not want to let them see me, Sweat, I know a lot of people in the 500 club. I won't say that I won't never be back but what I will tell you is they have set the standard on the way they treat people I won't follow their role, but I will not hold them i they felt my business was not good enough and they felt like it was OK for me to leave as a customer and that hurt the most. read more

This is a good card club. Good tent setup, cool clientele, knowledgeable dealers. Food is good and the prices are O.K. the 1/3 NLH game is pretty good here, they seem to run up to 3 tables and there typically is a list to refill the tables. I do, however, miss 2-3-5 NLH games like I played at Bay 101 before moving to the valley. Come by and play here, you should enjoy it! read more

To preface this review, the most gambling I ever do is buy those $20 lottery scratchers, or make wagers here and there with friends over sporting events and boxing matches. I don't come here to gamble. What I do come here to do though, is to drink- because they have the most consistently solid happy hour I've seen anywhere. Every day from 3:00-6:00 PM- and they have an early morning one, too which I can't remember the times for because I'm not a chronic gambler that sleeps in the parking lot of this place and goes right back at it at sunup. $3 for any of their couple dozen beers on tap- or $2 if you don't mind drinking domestic piss. Appetizers half off- and they serve some full meals as "appetizers." You can get fish and chips for $5.50 during happy hour. The fish is breaded a little too much and the fries are over-salted, but it's a full meal at happy meal prices- insanity. Chicken wings are awesome here, for when you don't want a full damn plate of food. For my purposes, which is a place to watch the game/fight and relax with friends after work, it gets that 5 stars. If I came here with the intent to gamble, eat dinner with family or with a date, or something else, I'd be a bit harsher. But I think "best happy hour ever" is deserving of 5 stars on its own. read more

This is a small card room that offers blackjack, baccarat and poker mainly. They also have a bar and serve food. I really enjoy the food here and you receive a discount while you are playing. I personally enjoy the ribs, veggies and rice all for $7. They usually offer 4-8 limit Holdem along with 1-3 NL Holdem. Servers are nice. Dealers are friendly. My mom ordered spring rolls, which the cook had forgotten to include the shrimp. The rolls were loosely wrapped. They were fat and filled with veggies and vermicelli. It was a mess. Very suspicious. Went in for a few rounds of pure blackjack for the first time. Dealer was nice. Put in $50 to try the place at $5 min bet. Played 6 hands at $5 and 2 at $10. This was my second plate from last night. The t bone steak was both times raw. They did not offer a discount or even free for 2 bloody steaks after the first one was returned for being bloody raw. Probably one of the only places where you can get Asian food and a great burger in the Fresno/Clovis area. And they do both well. My boyfriend said the Buffalo wings were some of the best he's tried and his pastrami burger was juicy and tastey. I had the khao poon and then basil beef. Khao poon was delicious and the portion was huge. Basil beef was spicy, sweet and fresh tasting. Oh yeah and I ordered it at 1 am. Probably my favorite part is that the restaurant is 24/7. Don't be put off by the casino aspect as I once did and give the food/drinks a try! read more

Food is good especially for people like myself who get off work at midnight and have cravings for asian food. (4 stars) SERVICE on the other hand, if there was a service rating option I'd definitely give them a 1. Only because of the one time of the many that I've come to the dining/bar area, great service was actually given where I wasn't waiting more than 10 minutes to be served after being told I would be. Also, every time I call in to put in an order for pick up (so I won't have to deal with waiting to be served and for my food) they never seem to pick up my phone call the first time. Fiance has been here a few times and finally talked me into going, and im glad i did! Went straight to the bar and was greeted by a very friendly bartender. Made our way to play blackjack and we had different dealers, all great, but i wish i could remember the name of the second one- he was delightful and our table was energetic the whole time. Tonight happened to be the most awkward dinner experience of life! Sat down, got our drinks from the waitress (non-alcoholic) and waited to order. Was promptly greeted by another waiter put in our orders Chicken salad toss w/ BBQ + ranch and topped with cheese and blue cheese crumbles. Fish & chips Then my cube steak with an order of spicy pasta extra sauce and jumbo prawns to-go. To our dismay and disappointment my cube steak came out first then the fish and chips and the salad came out about 2-4 minutes later. The patron that ordered the salad was highly upset because the salad came out skimpy. There was no salad just toppled with cheese and chicken. My food tasted fantastic! 5/5 cube steak. Really big chunks of steak but nonetheless it tasted great. My spicy pasta with prawns the color is lacking when I checked on my to-go order. I haven't tasted it yet due to I ordered it Togo for dinner for work this morning. Chicken salad 0/5 he didn't get to taste his salad Fish n chips 0/5 burnt to the max soggy fries. You can have REALLY AMAZING food but you need to have great service that follows. Service was just stupid terrible. The waiter was busy, I get it, it was a busy night but for NUMEROUS of other employees/waiters/waitress walking around they could've refilled our cups, checked on us, asked how's the food but we did not receive none of that. I had to flag// and call people over to get help. They seen the empty cups because we placed them in plain sight so it can be seen but no one took the initiative to refill them. Even when I asked for a refill we did not get any. My husbands cousin was just terribly appalled and upset he asked to speak with the night manager. There was no accommodations whatsoever just defending after each time he spoke up terrible service. I understand they get a lot of business and we wouldn't matter if we never came back but at LEAST make it feel like our business was important. She kept trying to pin it on the waiter that waited on our table. I think he did "ok" but please check on your tables! Ask how's the food, check if they need anything/refills, questions/concerns. This is a decent poker room....however, they are a bit unfair to players in the sense that they show favoritism towards a select few players. I used to play here often until I realized that the same handful of selected players always get their food for free. I asked the floor supervisor why this happens, he told me they were instructed to always sign for a select few. The crazy fact is, I'm a great tipper, I provide great action to the games, and I take care of the dealers, servers, and all other employees......yet still they instead choose to treat people differently. First time visiting 500 and I really like the location. Right when we got in we were carded (always nice to be carded ) to the left was the card room and it was packed looked like a good crowd. we went straight to the bar and ordered our food. The bartender who helped us was not only super nice she was soo funny. We ordered chicken larb, beef pad Thai, papaya salad and sticky rice. We like spicy so everything we ordered was extra spicy. We ordered to go the waiting period was not long at all. When we finally got back to our hotel room we chowed down, chicken larb was good, beef pad Thai didn't taste like pad Thai. We asked laos style for the papaya salad and it was more thai style. We ordered spicy but I felt our food wasn't spicy at all. I would probably go back to the other stuff on the menu. She said out loud and waved to the waiter, "Hi, how are you today?" He quickly replied, "Oh hi, I'm doing great." My sister asked for mixed drink and we all gave him our order. He then disappeared. We waited for another 5 minutes and seemed like no one was making the drink. My sisters and I got fed up with the BS so we walked out. A little nice card room with a small eating area and a bar. Love that their menu serves different varieties of food. You have salads, several choices of appetizers and different soups. They got Asian food and American food. I had the chicken Alfredo, which wasn't that great, but my husband had the Kung pao shrimp which was very tasty!! I went with a group of friends here and it literally took the server 20 minutes to realize we hadn't been approached. It took her 20 minutes to bring us water and 35 for the beer and mixed drinks. One of my friends ordered chicken strips and after 45 minutes of waiting one of the chicken strips had a long black hair on it!!
