Again Note: we went in both buildings, but again one is more a showroom with room setup, and the other is a showroom with chairs lined up in a row. This time, we were looking for couches or chairs. We found some comfy chairs, but nothing that really matched what we were looking for. Oh, and a nice person in front greeted us and told us about their tax free sale going on at the moment. We were also helped by Gretchen, in whom my mom purchased chairs with at another visit, and was asking about the pickup options. She did a good job explaining the pickup options, and that pickup was at their warehouse, and then told us the hours that pickup was available. We didn't end up purchasing anything this visit though. Upon walking in, Angela greeted us, and took care of us throughout our visit. She was very pleasant, and checked on us alot too, but wasn't overwhelming at all, and let us shop around. My parents found a chair they liked for their closet. I found that pink couch which is still there, and sat in it, which was comfy. This time sat in the other chairs that we did last time, and i didn't find them all that comfortable. hmm. We were also looking at small curio cabinets for an office, and found some possible options, but didn't purchase anything. They didn't really have much small dinette options either. When we finished, we purchased the chair for the closet, and opted for the pickup option. For the purchase, we paid via credit card, and i think the cost was reasonable. My mom asked if Michelle was there, and she indeed was. Basically last time she was there on her own, Michelle looked at photos of the room that the artwork is going, and made her best recommendation based upon that. And to boot, that artwork has looked great in the rooms my mom got artwork for. So in that note, we asked for her to do the same thing, and we showed her some pictures of the room. We also looked around the store and did find some pictures that worked, for at least one of the rooms. After we looked around the store itself, Michelle showed us her recommendations and we went with one of them. We left with a picture of a house and boats on the water. But it didn't end there, Michelle said that she will text my mom some ideas for the other room, and perhaps find an option that one can order for! Love that! Went home with a photo, paid via credit card, and will definitely be back for our shopping needs, and highly recommend Michelle!

The two delivery technicians, James and Garrett, were adept at moving process and quickly and efficiently brought the furniture up to the second floor of my house. To do so, they navigated a difficult staircase with ease, placed the furniture in the desired location, and illustrated the mechanism of the sleeper sofa. Entered the store and was greeted by a friendly woman who helped us. She left us alone as we walked all around the store. Found a few and lots more couches that I liked, and at least 2 of them was pieces that were sold separately. Loved the choices here, and even the colors like the greys and browns were different and lighter and brighter! Showed the sales agent that helped us in the begining and she guided us and told us what came separated. Plan to be back soonish if there is a sale going on and hopefully have my new couch soon! We walked in and was greeted by a nice salesman, and told him that we were looking for a couch. He then left us alone and let us look around. At the time wasn't sure entirely what i was looking for but knew i wanted a couch with a chaise, which is the end that is long and someone can recline on. Now, the selections were meh. When my aunt and mom was here in March 2025, there seemed to be more colors like yellow inside this store (as well as other furniture stores), now maybe March is the time to find yellow, but surprised that in SC that there isn't many bright colored couches anywhere. Anyways, we did find a nice grey couch, but some of the grey colors didn't seem to tickle my fancy. seemed too dark or something. also noticed that this seems to have more leather furniture too, which isn't what I was looking for. So we left without buying anything. Personally, except for some of the artwork, some of the things in here aren't really my style. but there's a taste for everyone!

Out of all the stores, this one left us the most frustrated. When we first walked into AFW, a salesperson greeted us right away, which is fine -- but even after we said we were just browsing, he followed us around the store, staying a row behind us the entire time. We eventually asked a few questions, got the info we needed, and left to check out other stores. This place makes you feel like you're buying a car, there's a window price and then we have to get a manager to get the real price. Even though everything is supposed to be on sale. The next day, we came back to take another look at some couches and beds after comparing other stores. Again, we were greeted immediately, though this time the salesperson gave us more space to look before we approached her. We asked for prices on a few items -- a sleeper sofa and loveseat, dining table with four chairs, coffee and end tables, and two twin beds. That's where the frustration really started. We were told everything was "on sale," but when we asked for the discounted total, the salesperson simply handed us a list of regular prices. When I asked about the sale, she said, "Well, are you going to buy?" I told her I might if the price was fair, and then she had to get a manager involved. The manager came over, looked at the paper, and said he could "take off $150" -- which wasn't even a 5% discount. It felt more like buying a car than shopping for furniture. When I questioned it, he went back to the computer and came back with another sheet that showed a random $74 discount, no explanation of how it was calculated. We ended up buying our beds elsewhere for much less -- same warranty, same quality. Honestly, the prices here were no better than any other store, despite the constant "everything on sale" claims. The experience felt confusing and pushy, and the pricing was anything but transparent. See for yourself check out the furniture stores they will tell you they are the cheapest around! You don't have to be the cheapest just be "Honest" and upfront with pricing and sales. Thats why somethings are marked down others not they decide if that items on sale or not. But if it's want we want we will make a purchase.
