My uncle & I decided to try some place new for our Sunday brunch so we chose BJ's. This place is so tiny you will miss it if you blink while driving by, so don't blink! The parking lot is crowded, which my uncle was like " I hope there's no waiting ". However, I noticed all the people going into this end shop serving coffee & tea, so I was still calm. Don't give up just cause the parking lot is full. We went in & I believe it only had 12 tables, & only 6 were in use. We sat down & was greeted by our server; who told my uncle, she would float him out of there in response to his drink order of black coffee & keep 'em' coming. The menu is about 4 pages of breakfast finest to choose from & a page of good looking lunch. Breakfast is obliviously the spotlight. My uncle ordered the Texas omelette, I ordered the buffalo chicken salad & sweet tea, & we got my hubby the spicy poblano omelette w/pancake to go for his brunch. My salad was good. I can't say it was great but good. The dressing was delicious, but the salad was just a salad nothing to write home about. The chicken had a mild kick but nothing spicy. It was tender & a great protein for the salad. The sweet tea was just ok also. As for the omelettes I did not try or taste, if you follow me I don't like eggs. But both my uncle & my husband said the would definitely go back. My uncle said his was great specimen. My husband didn't have to say anything, I've never quite seen him eat anything so fast as he ate that! Even though it was small, she is mighty. Don't let the not a lot of people fool you they have carry out & a drive thru & those were both busy the entire time we were there. Go try it yourself, review, agree or disagree. Had the chance to try Classic BJ's recently. The inside seating is fairly small, but it wasn't too busy when we went (seems like a good portion of their business is to-go orders). I love their poblano omelette. It has spice, topped with brisket meat, avocados, and poblano cream sauce. It's filled with cheese in an artful, delicious way. Best omelette in the mid-cities. I get hashbrowns, biscuit and gravy as my side. I've never eaten inside. Because the meal is big enough to share with my husband, we take it to-go. It's less than $11. This restaurant is located off of the euless blvd. the streets are big but there is not many places to eat. When we walked inside the restaurant seams not too busy and very clean. The utensils are in the paper bag. I give 5 stars for cleanliness. The breakfast menu had huge selections. I didn't know what to order. I ended up getting the catfish lunch which was very Crispy. I also had fried okra it was delicious. My mother had pancakes. They are filling! I ordered my mom's eggs for over medium. The cook at this restaurant really knew how to cook eggs. ( a lot of breakfast restaurants I went they don't pass my egg proficiency exam. lol) I give this place 3 stars. Wasn't going to review this place until I opened the box with the "chicken-fried chicken." Dudes... If you sell chicken-fried "anything" in Texas... Don't sell frozen ones. Bread it yourself. You are being compared in this state to some of the best chicken-fried foods in the world when you sell chicken-fried food here. Don't let people like me down, who, when expecting a great, freshly breaded chicken patty, sigh in disappointment when they see the frozen breading. It's not only not tasty, but it also make the restaurant owner look lazy and like they don't care about selling good food. The chicken was thin & overdone, and I ended up throwing away most of the breading. Wasted money. Also, their ranch dressing was in a packet. Blasphemy. I love me a good brunch spot, and BJ's has quickly put itself into my rotation. This locally owned cafe serves up some truly tasty dishes, and they have been consistently good even after several visits. We've had omelettes, machaca, chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken, biscuits and gravy, home fries, country potatoes, and hash browns and literally everything has been pretty darn delicious! The servers are always smiling and friendly, and service is pretty quick considering I have only ever seen one cook in the back! We've even brought my in-laws to try it out, and they enjoyed it as well. My one true criticism is the coffee: y'all it is just really terrible. I hate to say it, but the coffee is yucky and, for a brunch place, the coffee is important. I LOVE to have a good cuppa with my breakfast, and I hate that I can't have that at BJ's. So please, BJ's, hear my pleas and invest in some higher end joe! read more

Easy drive from where we were staying in Arlington, this was totally worth the drive. The food was phenomenal and the service was absolutely top notch. I had chicken and waffles and the chicken was hand breaded and juicy with perfectly crunchy waffles. My wife had the Covered Hash Brown breakfast and I'm not an egg person and I even loved it. Super cute, no frills, good-food spot! Came in while heading to the airport for a quick breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Had a BLT with side salad and sister had a mini breakfast plate. When I say no frills, I mean the salad dressing comes in a packet but the actual salad was fresh and super crunchy. No complaints! Wife found this on Google and it was about 15 minutes from our hotel stay. First off it's worth the drive folks. It's small place, 8 places to seat and no wait times. The owner also the server was pleasant and welcoming. The menu has lots of choices at affordable prices. Wife had the Migas with chorizo and it was on point; flavorful, plentiful with a bit of crunch from the corn chips. Amazing!! I had the Porker's omelette; sausage, bacon, ham and tomatoes and cheese.
