Tried to eat here during visit in August and was 1.5 hour wait on Saturday night. Tried again in February and arrived earlier. Great atmosphere varied menu and both food and drinks were great. Waitress was amazing and when one member of our group had a medium well steak that was dripping in blood, after 2 tries and 2 apologies from the manager, they never did get it right (new cook). Manager comped the meal for both diners, but the rest of us had amazing food. Spinach & Artichoke pasta was amazing, chicken tortilla soup was better than some top Mexican restaurants, and the loaded baked potatoes are a meal by themselves. My friend and I ate here for the first time this afternoon. I ordered the Steak & Seafood with the crab cake. About 10 minutes after I stopped eating I became visibly pale and dizzy. I thought I was going to pass out. As soon as I made it to the bathroom I threw up everything I ate. Once all of the food was out of my body I felt 100x better. I told the manager about what happened and he completely dismissed how sick I just was and told me it takes 24 hours for anyone to get sick after eating out. All he did was tell me it had to be something wrong with ME and gave me a $10 gift card. We will never be back again :( read more

When I called to reserve a table for our family, I was told if we came right there they could accommodate our table right then but if we came an hour later and they were busy they wouldn't be able to accommodate our party...I don't understand what restaurant wouldn't be able to accommodate anyone wanting to come to their restaurant no matter which time of the day it is. I've been eating at the restaurant chain for some years now, and this by far is the worst experience I've ever had. Me and my fiancés food was cold the waiter asked how I wanted my meat cooked and it was cooked the opposite. The strawberry lemonade and the cherry limeade was horrible. They messed up my finance's burger up so they had to remake it therefore my burger was extremely cold like it had been sitting out while they were fixing hers. The hostess sat us at a table for 6 in the middle of the room. Instead of putting us in a booth like you would normally for a couple. There were a total of 5 booths open in our area. The waiter took 15 minutes before we were greeted and asked for our beverages or drinks. By the time he came we had our orders ready along with the drinks. Just to end up with cold food and horrible drinks oh and a wrong burger. This was my first and last time going to this specific location period. read more

Being a regular at this location makes it hard to write. We arrived in the bar area first. Got a table and placed our order. The bar then filled up and we watched everyone else get their orders before us. I finally told our waiter and asked what's the deal and he said he didn't know. The manager came out and we told him about the situation. He didn't seem to care as well. Every manage we have ever met there has been super nice. It was a bad experience and has never happened to us before. I think they could have tried to make it right but they made us feel like we were the bad guys. They are struggling with staff turnover and slow business. The bar is very slow and more interested in talking to friends than serving customers. Management has not responded to recommendations for improvement and will avoid change. After more than 150 visit on the app, we give up. We eat at 54th Street several times a month and have throughout Covid. Our service last night was exceptional. Gabby was on top of every request and even had a great team of fellow waitstaff to support her so that we were never waiting. In a time where most of us have been operating in a bubble with not a whole lot of support/communication it was really nice to see a team work so well together and seem genuinely happy to do it. Last night we had the best time at dinner I think I've had in a long time. Our server Nancy was more then amazing, she was attentive and very knowledgeable! But what was more amazing, is the manager Eli was very attentive to not just our table, but surrounding tables as well! They both are a huge asset to your restaurant and deserve much kudos. I ordered off UberEats. Food has great temp, it was fresh. However- I ordered the Gringo dip- which is queso n chips- I'm not a super fan of the queso blend it's weird and it's hard to mess up a queso? I also ordered the spinach and artichoke cream pasta which should have chicken and shrimp and I would think spinach and artichoke? But in actuality it's pasta in a herbal cream sauce with a couple of slivers of chicken and a couple of pieces of shrimp with two slices of extremely burnt garlic toast. Can't say I had the worst service when we didn't get any! (: came in today ( a Sunday). Nice weather so wanted to sit outside! Hostess said it was open seating, didn't give us menus and we awkwardly stared at each other until we decided to go ahead and sit outside. Waited and waited, no server. Waited more and still nothing. We sat in view , obviously we had no menus, only ones outside were happy hour which there wasn't any at that time and some ketchup and mustard. We had a coupon for free chips and dip (which was bomb) and a side of perfectly seasoned fries with homemade ranch and then their spicy crispy shrimp that was on the app menu. First time here. The front desk people performed terrible. We showed up at 6pm. Told them we had a party of 8 for 6:30. They put our name on the list. We stepped outside. Came back in 15 min later Waited to be called. Never called or texted us on their text msg system. So checked In to find they "gave our table away". You now have a 45 min wait!!!! So now the staff are throwing wadded up paper at each other. It is now 7:25 still waiting. Manager finally stopped by. Offered two free appetizers when and if we ever get seated. 7:41. Finally seated. Let's hope the 1:40 wait was worth it. read more

First and definitely our last visit here. This was actually our second attempt at dining here, the first time was a week or two back and there were people waiting out the door, with a 45 minute wait to be seated. We got seated and right off the bat, noticed a few problems. The way this place is structured, the acoustics make it hard to hear anything over the noise. Combination of TV, music, and people yelling at one another, all being bounced back at you from the glass walls they have sectioning off the place. I literally had to raise my voice to talk to the person across from me, while still hearing the kids yelling at the table behind me, and the guy at the table next to me yelling to his 5 friends some story about pie. They got booths all along the wall, but if you want a table, they got 4 of'em in the middle of the room, and they all seat 6 people. I have no idea what they were thinking because it is a waste of space. We were a party of three, sitting at a table for 6 people, and early on I saw two people seated at another table - also for 6 people. The big tables are great for groups, but if you got a party of folks who WANT a table and not a booth, and it's only 2-4 people, that's a waste, especially if you got folks going out the door, waiting for a seat. Anyway, onto the food: Our server took our order and we ended up waiting 5-10 minutes before another server showed up with the wrong appetizer. Eventually we got the RIGHT appetizer - the Fried Calamari, but it definitely wasn't worth the menu price. Menu describes it as calamari rings and tentacles, battered and fried, with cherry peppers. Okay, should be spicy, right? Nope. Make matters worse, the pepper slivers themselves were battered, fried, and nearly indistinguishable from some of the calamari. It wasn't till we were halfway through the dish that I noticed that it was MAINLY peppers, and very little calamari. So - main dish: my folks each got a half sandwich and soup. That alone took the kitchen 20-25 minutes to get to us. They brought my folks their food, but failed to bring me mine. I had ordered a Buffalo Chicken Salad, and a server (not our MAIN server) only showed up with the sandwiches (cold cuts) and soup (tepid and in the case of the chicken enchilada - very greasy). So... 10 minutes after the sandwiches arrive, my server shows up and asks "Hey, is everything tasting okay?" - to which I point out that I have yet to get my salad. He goes off to "triple check" and vanishes. Another 10 minutes goes by and finally my salad arrives... and it was a letdown. Buffalo Chicken salad - supposed to be a mixture of fresh greens, chopped bacon, cheddar cheese, pico, tortilla strips, crumbled bleu cheese, ranch dressing, topped with fried chicken in wing sauce... What I got was a big plate of "mush" that tasted heavily of cheese and had the consistency of limp coleslaw that had been left out to get to room temp. No crunch whatsoever, the bacon and cheese flavor THERE, but you could barely determine the individual components by sight, taste, or texture - it was all mashed together into a mush. the Chicken was there, but didn't have any kick and was barely hot. Like the soup - tepid. My mother even tasted the salad and said that she thought that they'd made it 20+ minutes earlier and left it out because someone had forgotten to bring it to the table. In the end, I left about half of the salad behind because it wasn't worth taking home in a bag. We paid and as we were heading out, I noticed that not one of the three hostesses even thanked us for coming or bid us goodbye. We even said "Goodbye" and they didn't even look at us - they were too preoccupied huddled over a phone, talking. Barely anybody else around in the foyer and they didn't seem to even notice us leaving. Bottom line: There's a whole lot of issues going on. For most of my visit, saw either a waiter or a busboy basically leaning over a low partition, "holding it up" and just staring - not sure if he was waiting for a table to vacate to clean it up or what, but he was basically being paid to lean. Our server seemed like he was being stretched too thin - bouncing around to other tables, and we ended up being served by other staff members who barely had a clue as to what we ordered. Soup and sandwiches took them about 20-25 minutes to serve, and a salad took them almost 40. The food quality just plain sucked - my mom's chicken tortilla soup was greasy, my dad said that his half a sandwich was exceedingly small... so much so that my mom gave up half of HER half sandwich. I got a mound of bacon and cheese flavored mush, STILL in the dome shape of the bowl it had lain in for too long, drenched in dressing, with tepid chicken (not hot or even spicy) on top. Too noisy, have to yell to talk to ANYBODY, hostesses didn't seem to give a damn... nah, my advice - AVOID this place because it's not worth the money you spend on the food, atmosphere, or service! read more

Totally disappointed and won't be back. We waited for 25 minutes on a Friday night. I'm totally fine with that. After being seated, we waited longer than expected for our drink order. I'm totally fine with that given how short staffed the service industry is at the current time. When my husband's wine arrived, there was a live insect in his glass of wine. We brought this to the attention of the server who you would have thought would corrected timely. Not so. Took the bar staff some time to bring a new glass of wine. Our family of four received our plates and 2/4 of our orders were wrong. We had to call the server over and ask for corrections to our orders. She said to hand the burgers back and "munch on the fries" while we waited. The Manager was notified of the insect in my husband's wine glass. He apologized at the table. We waited for the 2 meals to arrive while my husband and son ate their meals. My 2nd son and my meal never arrived. We called the Manager over to tell him our 2 meals didn't ever come and that we wanted to pay and depart. The Manager actually took our credit card and charged us! I work in a service industry. This is an example of a poor company who doesn't train their managers and staff well about service recovery. Given this lack of service, I feel like our table should have been comped. Well I had never been here and my wife convinced me to leave the place we were and swing in. We walked in and went to sit at the bar. There were 4 open seats and all with dirty dishes in front of them. The people said no one was there and there was a clear nasty liquid all over the bar top. There were four bar tenders, two men and two women. They never greeted us. They never removed the dirty food dishes or cleaned the bar top. They all looked at my wife and I but continues thiernconversations for over 5 minutes. We finally decided to head to Lazy Dog. When the bartenders saw us stand up and leave, they actually turned and watched us walk out. At the front desk a manager named Cole, was there and I asked for the GM's number. He asked the issue and then argued with me about leaving, offering drinks to have us stay. I explained we didn't come for free items and my wife was already waiting at the car. Instead of writing down the GM's name and number, he left. I stood there while the front desk and others switched shift. I never saw him again. Another manager heard I was upset and asked if he could help. I asked for the same thing and he didn't give me the GM's name either. I never saw either one again and left. HORRIBLE SERVICE! I haven't been to or seen a 54th Street Grill since I was in my home town of Saint Louis. I've been itching to go since I moved to this area. I placed a pick up order of the sliders and waffle fries with the famous Gringo dip. I arrived and my food was brought out pretty quickly. The burgers weren't that great (really dry) but the dip was amazing! Even better then I remember. Their menu is pretty large (still got nothing on Cheesecake Factory) so I will definitely go back, maybe to dine-in this time. This place is comparable to Chili's, Applebee's and other restaurants of the like but I feel like the quality is much better. I live down the street so I will go back soon! read more

I took my wife out to come here for the first time and immediately i was met with disapproving eyes and hostel attitude first thing when we entered the restaurant. Once seated our waitress showed little if any care to take our orders or even acknowledge that we were there. After ordering our food it took no less than 25 minutes for our food to arrive. Trying to eat our food was certainly a challenge. Between the lack of flavor and the fact that our food was burnt it was nearly impossible to consume such a horrible representation of what I can't even bring myself to call food. When the waitress picked up our plates and asked how the food was after replying with our dissatisfaction the waitress replied with " that's good". I have never been more embarrassed and upset with a restaurants' behavior and lack of care toward every aspect of the culinary business. read more

We sat at the bar and enjoyed chips and queso, a very large cold beer and a tasty lemon drop martini. Food and drinks were good, prices very fair. Unfortunately, we had to listen to the bar staff (pretty sure one of them was a manager) complaining about other employees. Didn't make for a great first impression. While we were there, a group of servers was standing by the bar, ironically discussing that someone had complained about a group of servers milling around gossiping. First, it was a Friday night. So we tempered our expectations. We ordered and one of the dishes wasn't prepared right. We showed the waitress to which she replied we will get this fixed. 20 minutes later it arrives at the table total deconstructed when all we asked was sauce on the side. There was mention of taken it off the bill. Our guest tried to eat the tacos but they were so dry she just stopped plus everyone else had already finished since it took 20 minutes to remake. My husband and I have eaten at the Euless location about 5 times in the past 3 months, and the food has always been delicious. The wait staff has been attentive and friendly. We have brought family and friends here, and they have really enjoyed it also. I especially like the protein bowl with grilled salmon. My husband has tried a different entree each time and always been pleased with whatever he's gotten. Expansive menu and even more expansive beer and wine list. Haven't been here during happy hour, but the drink prices listed for that are very good. I am a door dasher. I came here twice in one day on two separate occasions to pick up orders. I was told where to wait for the customers food, I stood their patiently waiting and I have 5 different workers pass me by without any acknowledgment or any greeting, wouldn't even look me in the eyes. The first time I just shrugged it off. The second time it's a little irritating. Both times the food for these customers are just sitting on a rack in the kitchen. I have a job to do just like the staff. And I cannot fulfill that job for YOUR customers when you all don't meet half way. A young man had seen me standing there 3 times too long before he passed to ask me if I'd been helped. He grabbed my order and I then asked for a manager. A young man I believe by the name of Ty or so, came up and I explained to him at that point it makes me want to just go behind the kitchen and seek for my order myself if your staff is going to completely neglect me. His response? "Ma'am I will talk to the staff but DO NOT enter my kitchen." The point was, these orders are ready. I'm waiting there for 5 minutes both times when the orders are ready and ALL anyone had to do was look at the counter and grab the order for me. I explained and he then responds with "don't yell at me" ? Service was HORRIBLE. Employees are truly a product of their manager on duty and when you express your concerns to a manager in a calmly matter and he completely neglects your concerns to say "don't do this and don't do that" he's truly not putting his team aside and hearing how his team is working. There is no excuse of everyone is busy. No. EVERYONE completely neglected me as a customer to believe I wasn't important enough to get their attention because there would be nothing they'd receive in return. read more

I was told by our waitress and one other who said "we couldn't find an assistant manger." We canceled our order but still had to pay for apps and 2 colas.
