The food was delicious and our waiter, Casey, was very customer service oriented and knowledgeable about the menu and loyalty program. We had the spinach-artichoke dip. It was really good. It was served with tortilla chips, salsa and sour cream. A different combo but really good. My husband had the roast beef French dip and thought it was the best he had ever had, and he has enjoyed them all over the world. Because they have a table of 15 and another of 7 coming in soon, they would not seat 5 of us for 45 minutes. We had put in reservations on Yelp that said 25 minutes listed as the wait time and for there with 5 minutes of wait left. We looked around and saw seating for both large parties and plenty of empty tables. We waited for 15 minutes and the hostess promptly ignored us. So, we left for another location. This was my first experience with this place and most likely my last. I was highly disappointed in the poor experience and snitty hostess. To the manager: your staff is letting money walk out the door. We always have a large tab when we choose to go out and we often become loyal customer when we're treated right. Our group of three senior citizens enjoyed the service, food, and ambiance. We arrived at opening time(11am). Seated right away. Eli(263) our waiter was very pleasant and efficient. We were friends that hadn't seen each other in many months, so lots to gossip to catch up. Eli has the patience to let us talk, and the wisdom to know when to show at the table for service. Our first 54th St. visit was for lunch and drinks on a Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere and decor is very fun with plenty of tables and a sizable bar. There's a combination TGIFs/sports bar feeling from the decor and large TVs. The bar restaurant was full, but the noise was not an issue, partly attributable the relatively low volume of the background music that doesn't require everyone to yell over it while conversing. Our bartender Josh made one the best Mojitos I ever had, so kudos to him. Our overall bar experience was pleasant and attentive. The food menu is very large, but well organised. We began with fried pickle spears. They were good, but I prefer bite-sized sliced "chips" because the batter doesn't fall off as with spears. I had the blackened salmon and she had the spinach and artichoke creamed pasta. We both enjoyed our meals very much. For dessert I had the Snickerdoodle and she had the Choco-Tini. They were both very good. I recommend this restaurant in this niche, and I award it five stars. read more

I've been in the culinary industry for over 25 years and I must say, this location keeps their consistency and QC all across the board. Tye, the manager, and his staff are very accommodating. The quality of the product is given the same attention..whether dine-in, carrying or, even delivery thru Uber eats. I will continue frequenting this place. I was very disappointed with my visit here. I've always passed by this place and said I wanted to go so today was my first time visiting Street54 because I wanted something different. I ordered the Blackened Salmon with the adult Mac and cheese and was very unhappy about my first time being there. My salmon was over cooked and the Mac and cheese had a tart flavor. I told the waitress that my salmon was over cooked she said sorry and walked away I then asked for the manager and explained to him that my salmon was over cooked he said yes I see that and he said sorry and walked away. The waitress then came back with my bill without the over cooked salmon still on the bill and then the manager came and gave me a $10 gift card. I paid more for that meal then what i was given back. I can say that is my first and last time eating at Street 54 I will not spend another dollar there read more

WARNING DO NOT DINE HERE: A list of reasons to never take your business here: *incredibly inaccurate quotes (wait times) *extremely immature staff *incompetent management The terrible service we received tonight started off with a guaranteed table to sit all 8 of us within 30 minutes. We went to sit in our car to wait. After 20 min we walked in to check on our table and were informed that our table was given to a table of 9....new wait time quoted "40 min". After an hour and a half of waiting we were finally seated...at the table originally promised to us; AFTER the party of 9 was finished with their meal. Attitude displayed by hosting staff was nothing but unprofessional. We got to watch them play around for an hour plus. In addition, we received no apologies until management was informed, 40 minutes into our wait. When it was all said and done, total wait time of AN HOUR AND A HALF on a Monday night. Management attempted to right the wrong with free apps; however the damage was already done. Service was slow. We got to stare at our drinks waiting on the bar for 15 minutes before another server finally brought them to us. Kitchen sent out the fajitas 8-10 min after the rest of the meals were delivered and everyone else was done eating. Salad for one person delivered with entree. We really wanted to like this place. However the first impression left by this place was terrible; felt that being presented with an almost $200 bill after the service that we received was rather insulting. Likely won't be back. Management never checked on us throughout our meal. At then end of the meal when we expressed our displeasure with the service that we received he did everything to try and right the situation. So we will give him that credit. Personally, I feel that management was reactive rather than proactive. Very unfortunate. If you know a table is unhappy, maybe check and make sure their food came out right? I will say that the bathrooms are really cool and have awesome faucets. So that's cool. But not enough to bump this review to 2 stars. Really disappointed. Last dinner as a family before we sent the last of our kids off to college and this restaurant ruined our evening together. Unfortunately, given the things stated in this review I cannot recommend this place. That said. Management (Pete) was apologetic at the end and did his best to remedy the situation and salvage the unsalvageable. Provided with gift cards and bill was discounted further. We got to 54th Street around 7:30 on a Friday. Prime restaurant time. We put our name on the waitlist and were told it would be 15 to 20 minutes. We then went to the large bar area and took our drinks out to the patio. We sat at the large fire pit table (the fire wasn't lit on a warm September evening) to wait for our table. Shortly after we sat down, Casey came by to see if we needed anything. He told us we could order dinner from him and stay seated where we were. Perfect. He canceled us from the waitlist and brought us menus. The menu is huge which can be a bad sign. With so many choices, can the kitchen really make all of them well? We'll have to go back a few times to check that out. On this visit, both my companion and I ordered the snapper sandwich (Crimson Snapper filet, lettuce, tomato served with comeback sauce). We chose blackened but fried is also an option. It comes with fries but my companion upgraded to sweet potato fries. A good choice. Both the regular and sweet potato fries are thin cut and crispy. The regular fries are skin on. Everything was delicious. The fish was a good size fillet and cooked just right. This place appears to use food runners since I didn't see any of the patio servers delivering food. Casey was attentive but not intrusive. An added bonus was that the community fire pit table filled up and we had some very pleasant dinner companions. This place also has a couple of dozen beers on tap plus specialty drinks. Good food, good service, convenient location. We'll be back to try some of the other selections. read more

Don't trust the staff. We were there late on a Friday night. The restaurant was less than half full. The waiter seemed upset that we wanted more time to decide on our order and then took a while to return. After we ordered, our food was delivered by someone else. I guess that's normal. The waiter came by to see that we got our order and then we didn't see him again. We were almost finished with our meal and wanted more water but we couldn't find our waiter. We asked another waiter to find him for us. By the time the waiter came we finished our meal and we asked him for the check and more water. He said ok but then went to another table to talk to a pretty girl that was there. She had already ordered. Then he went to another table to talk to a couple who seemed to be his friends. He finally came back with water and the ticket. I shouldn't have left him a tip but still I left a $4 tip on a $35 bill ... that's 11% tip. When I got my bill from my credit card I discovered that he changed my $4 tip to $9 .... that's a 25% tip. I called the manager at the restaurant and he said he would take care of it and report it to corporate. Corporate left me a message to let me know that I'll get back my $5. Really? That's it. They should have at least removed the entire $9 tip. Won't be back to any 54th Street Grill again. read more

The first time I visited was opening week. We had a wonderful bartender at happy hour. My friend and I were super excited for a new restaurant/bar to open close to where we live. Last week I visited again. The same bartender I had my first visit started waiting on us. She is fantastic! I wish I knew her name to give her accolades. As happy hour went on and got more busy we ended up with another bartender. She was super short with us when ordering and acted annoyed we were asking for anything. I ordered a Michelada and she brought the incorrect beer. I politely asked if I could have the correct beer. She snatched the incorrect drink and brought me another one seeming very annoyed. Limes were being cut, and she rudely said she would bring me one when they were ready. She never brought one. Fast forward to my third visit today. Things started off fine until I ordered food. The food I ordered was incorrect. I knew this because I ordered the same exact dish last week. Three people tried to convince me the order was correct. They kept bringing the dish back to me. I finally showed them the menu, and finally they agreed the order was incorrect. I asked them to remake it considering three different people paraded it around the restaurant to tell me it was correct. The original bartender helping us left. The new bartender never came and never checked on us or acknowledged we were even there. The bar had about 7 or 8 people there. Not busy at all. After she scanned the bar and completely glanced over us, I was able to get her attention to get a to go box after sitting there for about 10 minutes with leftovers and empty drink glasses. I was hoping this was going to be a great new place for happy hour with my best friend. Sadly disappointed and unsure I will return. read more

In flavor and in the way they were presented. I got the chicken salad sandwich with the baked potato soup. Someone dropped the ball. My mother has been raving about this place so we decided to stop by Sunday 02/27 after church. We were seated around 2:30 & made our order of apps, food & a couple beers. Apps came out fairly quick while the beers took about 20+ mins. Didn't get frustrated about that. One server came and handed us a single keg tater tot & said "Sorry, we noticed we shorted you one"? My family and I joked that they must have dropped it & when my husband went to bite it he quickly spit it out and said it was still frozen in the middle. We called the manager because it was now 45+ mins that we noticed our entrees were still not out. The manager apologized and he admitted that they had dropped one of the tots earlier! Which confirmed our suspicions (I doubt they threw in the one that fell on the floor) but still. The manager said he was sorry our food was taking so long and tried to explain why it was taking so long & that they were waiting on a sandwich? A sandwich really? That should've been the first thing made. He also asked if I wanted my children's food out first? Well of course I would we were already going on a hour. First off I doubt it was the POS system's fault because someone has to input the order. My mother was a manager at a restaurant for over 15 years and I myself have worked as a server for over 5 years. We were still waiting for other 15 mins till we said we'll pay for what was in front of us and to cancel our order since we had another engagement to be at. My children didn't even finish their food because it was cold and I still payed a $60 bill. At the end of it all the waitress came to apologize and admitted that she had seen our food sitting there and no one came to help her serve. I'm sorry to say this will be my first & last time here. To top it all off right after we ate the apps myself, my mother & my son (who all ate the calamari) had bad stomach issues. read more

This one is a keeper. If you like chicken fried steak, you have to try this one. Don't bother using a knife since you can eat it with a fork! The atmosphere is eclectic and neat. Beer is served at 29 degrees...We have tried several different meals and appetizers with no disappointment. Noise levels are low since they have glass separating the areas (cool concept). Went to Happy Hour last night and sat down and it took some time to get acknowledge. It was NOT busy. We ordered 2 beers and about 10 min later we still didn't have them but we could see them sitting at the bar getting warm so we went a got them ourselves. We ordered our food...chicken tenders and fries and 2 sliders. We sat by the couple who also wrote the review about a toothpick sticking out of their Baja dippers. We kept waiting and waiting on our food. There were people coming in after we did getting their food BEFORE we did. We were bought a cup of mustard but NO FOOD to put on it. We finally got to talk to a manager complaining and he apologized that our waitress for got to put our food order in. When she did she only put in an order for ONE SINGLE chicken tender instead of the chicken tenders and fries. Who does that....????? I believe our waitress name was Sarah? She was not all there...it was NOT busy at all. Everyone was complaining about her. The manager (John) was very nice to everyone that was complaining about the waitress. He was putting out a lot of fires. He said he had no idea what was going on with her and there is no excuses! He ended up taking care of our ENTIRE tab. She caused 54th Street a lot of money from John having to take care of so many mistakes. We come to here a lot and service is usually great! We will come back but hopefully have someone that can focus and do their job much better than she did. read more

I ordered the Shrooms and my wife ordered the tater keg, I didn't like the Shrooms so me and my wife switched she like them but felt they could've been a little bit better. I loved the tater kegs. The appetizers were okay to say the least. For dinners main course I ordered center cut baby back ribs with fries and adult Mac and cheese, and a premium loaded baked potato on the side, my wife ordered the chicken fried sirloin steak with the adult Mac and cheese, and a side of Brussels sprouts. The chicken fried sirloin steak tasted like liver it was by far the worst steak I've ever had, that was just a sample from my wife plate, the Mac and cheese was not very good the baked potato was greasy with minimal topping (Surprisingly there was nothing premium about this potato, the fries were over cooked, overall I was some of the worst food I've ever eaten. I don't know if this is what they serve nightly or if last night was a bad night, I won't be returning. I recommend you try it for yourself then write a review. My bill was $66.00 I tipped $12.00 only because I didn't like the food and the waitress was too busy. 80% of the that was purchased was left at the restaurant. read more

Ordered a Summer Blend SIDE salad. The waiter came back 10 minutes later and asked if I wanted it with chicken...told her 'no I just want the side salad which does not come with chicken.'
