The wait is long, you will be seated but will be recognized by the waiter in about 5-10 minutes before order will be taken and it was not that busy that day we went. The receptionist doesn't know anything about their website when asked it how to order there or browse the website, he redirected me to ask the server. 1-star based purely on the service. I refused to eat the food, so who knows? The low down: We called in a few days in advance for a relative's 90th Birthday celebration. 575 Pizza told us they could accommodate a party of 20 but that we should show up a little early to get a spot set aside. We show up and grab two tables about 20 minutes early. Not ideal, because they weren't all together, but fine. A staff member then asks us to go to the lobby because they will move us to one table so that we sit all together. She confirms this with the people up front and tells us it will be just a few minutes. After sitting in the lobby waiting and asking (and after giving up the tables we already had) the staff then says they don't know anything about the table that they told us about ~20 minutes before. Fast forward a little longer (we are there with several kids and an elderly person) and a Manager comes up to yell at our party for having the audacity to complain about their reservation/service confusion. Apparently it was our fault for asking them days ahead of time, and then for following their instructions to move. Let me start by saying that I don't think I've ever given a 1-star review for anything...so good job 575 pizzeria!! I am just completely shocked by how terrible the service was at this place. I travel a lot and have never been somewhere where the waitstaff was so unprofessional and rude... We called ahead and made arrangements for a big group - 20 people - for my grandpas 90th birthday (kind of a big deal!!!) - we had 20 adults (one of them 90 years old), 3 toddlers and 2 infants (under 6 months). We arrived early as they instructed, and began to sit at the large empty tables - we were ushered away from those tables and told we'd get the "bigger" table instead. With our whole group - babies, toddlers and 90 year old - we waited - many of us (including myself) even went to the bar to order drinks while we waited (spending money...) and then only to see that the table we'd been promised had been given to others. We threw in the towel, ordered takeout pizzas (like over $200 worth???), paid and then when my aunt went to talk to the manager about what had happened, she was completely and totally disrespectful and rude. It was seriously shocking how rude and terrible she was given they had just screwed up our whole 90th bday plan...and we had just spent $$$ at this place. The pizza itself is just so so and the service is terrible. After the way they talked to my aunt, they didn't even apologize or try to right their wrongs. Whatever you do, do NOT eat here. You must eat here! First the staff , all if them friendly. When the patrons walk out they comment to complete strangers about the delicious food. I ordered a DF, extra crispy crust, meat/veggie add pine nuts. So so good. Slightly charred pepperoni-yum I trued the white and red sangria, very generous samples! Tonight I went with red-super!!!! Drinks: -SANGRIA (RED) get a carafe because it's cheap and you can easily have two glasses each if u split between 3 people. I drank this sangria like it was juice! PIZZA: -A Large Surgeon split between 4 hungry people! Just enough garlic and plenty of yummy meats. I couldn't stop shoving my face! Only gripe is that we got charged for balsamic vinegar... We were visiting from Dallas and our friends said we needed to try out this pizza joint. The pizza is fresh and delicious. What is interesting is how they divide the menu up into red (sauce) and white pizza options. Each has great combinations. We had the Drzewiecki (The Drizz) - Parmesan, fresh tomatoes, kalamata olives, fresh basil and feta cheese and one of their specials. I also recommend their salads as a starter and get the house made sundried tomato balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I like how they locally source as much of their ingredients as they can. Very Good Pizza! I do not eat a lot of pizza so when I do, I am very picky! I ordered the cauliflower crust with their meat lovers (I forgot the exact name) and it was delicious! The flavor was well balanced and nothing over powered each other. You can tell they take their time to make great tasting combinations. Most places that have gluten free crust tend to not put much effort into their gluten free crust. It's always too bland or it falls apart. This place took the time and made a great crust for people like me who can't eat a lot of wheat. bravo guys! This place also serves beer and wine. I always pass by this pizzeria and finally got to try it out yesterday. I've heard so many good things about it from my neighbors and coworkers so I went in with high expectations. The restaurant is a fairly decent size, there is a bar area on one side and on the other side you can actually see your pizza being tossed and made! It was really busy when I went on a Friday night but there was no wait time for a table. We were seated right as we walked in. The service was excellent. Our waiter, Tino, was awesome! He told us a lot about the restaurant and even told us about some of the other restaurants we should try since we are new to the area. He was very nice and quick with the service. They offer a wide selection of pizzas. It was so hard to choose which one I wanted to try. They have different size options and you can also do your choice of crust (they offer cauliflower crust as well). I went with the Doro Pizza - it had chicken, jalepenos, pineapples, and onions on it, topped with chili powder. I like spices so this pizza was definitely made right! The pineapples added the perfect amount of sweetness to this spicy pizza. If you like spicy, I recommend you try this one! They also have a wide variety of drinks - beers and sangrias. Where do I begin? 575 pizzeria is my safe haven. As I walk through the door I was SCREAMED at by the generous host (not a bad thing). The host practically held my hand and ushered me to the most welcoming table I have ever seen. The chair practically begged me to sit down. Not even a minute later my server sat in my lap and TOLD ME what I needed to drink, they read my mind. Not even a second later the taste of red sangria filled my moth and the subtle notes of cinnamon became one with my soul. The pizza satisfied me in ways that can not be described with words. Next up...dessert! It was good. Cute boys in the kitchen. Babes in the front. Your classic business in the front party in the back scenario. And shoutout to the remarkable wench in To-Go. See a couple of other 1 star reviews regarding 575 Pizza when I and the rest of us celebrating my father-in-law's 90th birthday were turned away. My father-in-law's favorite restaurant is 575 Pizza. So when his family members came from Boston, Minnesota, Wyoming, Iowa and California, one of the things we wanted to do was to go to his favorite restaurant. My wife called and talked to a manager about two weeks prior, and he said it was no problem and that he would reserve space. We had several people show up early, but as detailed in another post, they gave up their tables at management's requests while management worked to get us all seated together. No such thing occurred! They did not seat us together, in fact they said they couldn't do that. To make a long story short, the manager on duty did nothing to make it right - - finding us seats, offering us discounts... nothing, zero, zip zilch nada. Stuff happens. Things get screwed up. But I'm posting this negative review because of the way the management handled their own mistakes. But the management had actually asked members of our party to give up their tables and seats with the assurance that they would seat us all together. They didn't. In fact, they didn't even give any of us, including those who had given up their seats at management's request, seats at all. At the minimum, they should have apologized. They perhaps should have offered to discount the pizzas we ordered to take to my father-in-law's house. But they didn't. As I said, stuff happens and some times things get screwed up. The 575 management screwed up on taking the original reservation, on asking our people to give up their tables under false pretenses and then failed to be contrite about it. And they were rude about it to my wife, who is no lightweight when it comes to management - - she successfully managed nursing services at a 400 bed hospital for years. My wife had worked with the management ahead of time - telling them what we wanted to do and gaining their assurance that they could seat us all together on the date and at the time she provided. I won't beat this dead horse, but hopefully management learns something from this and other people don't get treated as badly when they try to celebrate something special at 575 Pizza. read more

I have eaten in at this location before and had a wonderful experience, however I don't recommend ordering to go. The food is horrible. I ordered two GF pizzas, a large salad and a flourless chocolate cake to split with my mom. One pizza was burnt to a crisp, the other had close to nothing on it and was extremely flat. The flourless chocolate cake was a tiny dried out slice of cake. Nothing like normal flourless cake, and such a small portion it was ridiculous. read more

Oye vey. I love 575, but a recent visit to this new location was absolutely painful as we were victims to the old "serve and forget" tactic by our waiter. Our orders were right, pizzas were yummy, but what ruined the visit was literally sitting there for 30 minutes after we were finished eating without him coming by to check on things, or see if we wanted the check....which we did. We tried flagging down our waiter, but he wouldn't make eye contact with us and eventually had to ask another waiter for help. And it's not like we were a horrible table...we were with my husband's parents and grandma....not some bunch of rowdy irritable drunks. Hate to do this.. But the last couple times I've done 575 takeout instead of dine in. The first time, the bread slices with my salad, were ROCK hard. Took me 1 1/2 minutes to chew a single bite, probably because they refrigerate the salads. Tonight we decided to get pizza with gluten free crust. The pizza was hardly finished. I understand gluten free baked goods are very different, as I bake gluten free often. But this kind of pizza place should probably have perfected gluten free by now, it should at least be fully cooked when I get it (every time). Had one day in Amarillo for find some good pizza and this place hit the spot. Was easy to find and conveniently located. They had plenty of options for toppings, sauce and cheese. I prefer a more plain pizza and we ordered a large pie with pepperoni and garlic. Pepperoni had great taste and the serving size of the pizza was perfect for two adults allowing for leftovers. Also they had live music which was a nice surprise. Service was stellar and next time we are in town will make a priority stop. read more

The good thing is that they have clean bathrooms and it looks nice inside. You get to feel like you're eating in a swanky hip new pizza place. Unfortunately, you don't get to eat any good pizza while you're here. It's really more about appearances at this place. They have these nifty looking metal things to hold larger pizzas about 6 or 8 inches above the table. They look great but the table on our left AND the table on our right both had issues with it toppling over and spilling the pizza onto the table/patron. We were lucky that we ordered the extra small which did not need us to attempt a balancing act while eating. Pizza itself left much to be desired. We got toppings which were barely visible but I'm guessing maybe we got unlucky with who was making our pizza. Hubby got a pint of beer but they didn't fill the whole pint glass. They left about an inch on top which was weird. Now about the beer - there seems to be a big selection. I just wish there was a drink menu somewhere. The waitress was really nice about reciting what they had but instead of having to listen to a list of 20ish beers, a written list would have been helpful and more practical. We asked for a list and she just offered to recite them again for us. On the plus side, she was willing to give samples of anything on tap. There was a big crowd when we got there and the 30 minute wait we were quoted turned out to be an hour an a half. On the plus side, they gave out free samples of pizza while we waited and some toys (those little bendable stick things) for the kids to play with. On the downside, they didn't think to do any of this till the kids had been sitting there at least an hour already. So if you come with kids, you might want to ask for them when you arrive if there's a wait or bring your own toys. I was just glad we didn't come with any kids this time. Great local draft beer selection! Pizza was good (read not great but not bad). Had the Quattro and small spinach salad (again good). I sat at the bar between 8-9. Not busy but got kinda lousy service. Bar guy was much more interested in stocking canned beer than waiting on me. Balsamic Vinaigrette was light brown to orange in color and tasted of chipotle. 575 is one of our favorite date spots. They've got a nice atmosphere, with bikes hanging on the wall, a peninsula bar in the middle of the room, and clear sight to the kitchen. They have a good variety of wine and beer on the menu, and the wait staff is generally capable at helping you find a drink to fit your pie choice and general taste. They have some interesting topping combinations, and the large is big enough to split with your date (they can do a different recipe on each half) and potentially take some home. The 'tine trio is a perennial favorite appetizer (and helps us make sure we take some pizza home for the next day!). Of the three dips that comprise the trio, I really enjoy the artichoke dip, while my wife loves the bruschetta and we fight over the olive tapenade. The crust is thin and very tasty--my wife prefers it over Fire Slice's, while I think it's a very close second. The only issue I can really raise with the place is that the service at the bar can be inconsistent; I've received great service at the tables, but both times we sat at the bar, we had problems with our requests getting forgotten in the chaos, or having the bar deserted for a few minutes, only for multiple tenders to ask the same questions in a row. I think part of the problem may be that the tenders are responsible for things outside of the bar area (or there are waiters that have their own zones and end up taking care of things in the bar as well). The people are nice, but it really took too long to get somebody's attention to make our food order on our previous visit, which was frustrating. read more

Today was my first visit. It may have been my last. I ordered the Bender pizza to go. It didn't take too long for it to be ready. When the waitress brought the pizza to me, she opened the box. I commented on the fact that the top edges of the meats & crust were burnt. She blew me off saying the the edges were always dark because the meat was sliced so thin. When I got home, I found that the bottom of the pizza was also burned black. I may give them one more try on the off chance the cook was having a bad day. I would give today's pie a very low score for a lousy pizza. read more
