Please watch videos and pay attention to the amount of miles I put on it between videos. I brought my 2005 CBR600RR to 5K Oil for an inspection and to replace recommended parts, including fork seals, brake pads, and a cam chain tensioner. I was not in a rush and expected a thorough inspection and quality service. About 13 miles into my test ride after picking the bike up, it shut off on me. After further inspection, I discovered that the battery had been punctured. While the bolt that caused the damage was not installed by them, it should have been identified during the inspection. I was told the electrical and charging systems were fine, but the battery issue was overlooked, which ultimately led to serious engine problems and additional expenses. Overall, I was disappointed by the lack of initiative and attention to detail, especially given that the bike was in for an inspection. I wish more effort had been taken to fully assess the bike before returning it to me. I hope they improve their inspection process in the future, but I would advise others to be cautious. Diagnostic Fee is complete BS and just a way for you to go back to them to get the work done. Apparently I didn't actually pay for any diagnosing and it's just a fee. read more

Absolutely fantastic. I've been looking for a local South County motorcycle shop that I could trust with my baby's, all Suzuki GSX-r's. Their $190 comprehensive service is A STEAL! James & Danielle are very knowledgeable, and James went the extra mile and found some loose bolts while working on my GSX-R 1000, Commemorative Edition. You'd be foolish to take your ride anywhere else. The only day they're closed is Tuesday, so yes, they're open Sundays which is EXTREMELY rare for a bike shop. I took my 2023 KTM 890ADV here for it's 9k service,the first I had done since the first after buying the bike. They quoted me $200.00+ which was very fair (KTM charge about $600.00) and everything was done according to specs I believe. James seemed to know his work and he can certainly talk a good job. I was very pleased. They quoted me $1,250+ to do some more remedial work (tires, rear shock, rear brake pad and rotor etc;) My problems started when I had him put two new tires on and rode about 100 miles on it and the next day I went out to my garage and the rear tire was completely flat. Couldn't get any air in it at all. I called them and they came to my house that night to pick up the wheel and he explained that it was the KTM system which uses some type of banding to seal the tires and the bands were no good. He persuaded me to have him put in heavy duty inner tubes (don't ask me how) which cost me another $200.00+ and this to remedy his ineptitude at changing tires. I called several other bike shops to ask about the KTM tires and all them said that they had never had a problem. The funny thing is that I'd always had a problem with the front tire losing a couple of pounds every week but now that's still inflated!! In retrospect I should've had him get the new seals and install the tires properly as if you have inner tubes on the road you can't stop and plug them as you can with tubeless if you get a flat. The upshot is that I found another shop to fit the rear tire properly with new seals which cost me another $300.00+ but this guy at least knows what he's doing. He's at SC Motorcycle Company if anyone needs a good bike mechanic. 5K Oil might be okay for old Harleys and such I don't know but I certainly would not recommend them for changing KTM tires read more
