I've been bringing my R1 here for a long time and i never have a complaint. David always answers all my questions and surpasses expectations. When i brought my bike in for the first time it had missing bolts and certain parts were just old. I came in to get new tires and an oil change and when i got my bike back it had new bolts and jimmy inspected my bike and tightened a few loose parts. I can't say enough good things about David, the owner and his technicians. I was in need of new tires for my Kawasaki ZG1000 and I stopped by Lap Motorsports to inquire about tires and installation. David personally went online to look for tires for my bike, which if you have a ZG1000, you can understand the frustration of trying to find a matched set of tires and in stock for this bike. Lap Motorsports installed a set of Michelin Commander III's on my bike that were slightly wider than stock and it has literally changed the handling of my bike!! Unbelievably smooth and quiet!! In addition, David keep me informed when tires would be delivered and when they could be installed, which took only two hours after I dropped off the bike. David at LAP Motorsports is the most reliable shop owner out there. Hands down. Also, his technician Jimmy, is very very knowledgeable. My first experience with David at LAP Motorsports was when I crashed my bike, and needed to get work done for an insurance claim. David is very knowledgeable with how the insurance claim process is, which is extremely helpful as this is my first ever insurance claim. He explained everything to me very well. Insurance deemed the vehicle a total loss. Fast forward a couple months later, I bring my new bike to David at LAP Motorsports to get an Austin Racing exhaust fitted. This system requires OEM catalytic converter to get cut out. As it turns out, Austin Racing has sent me the wrong part. With my OEM exhaust system already been cut, I was left with no choice but to either reach out to Austin Racing for a refund, or a replacement. David was able to find me a full Akrapovic system and gave me a great discount! He ordered the system on a wednesday and i got my bike back the VERY next day! It is very hard to find a shop as trustworthy and reliable as this one. I highly highly recommend this shop to anyone needing work done to their bikes.
