1998 XR tear down and restore. They did a great job. Very happy. Love my restored XR now.

I normally wouldn't post a review, unless my experience was amazing, or awful. In this case it was brief and awful. The price for A FMF silencer part number 041022 through Tokyo Mods and listed on google was $296.99 and that included free shipping. I added the part to my shopping cart on their site and the price was $323.99 without shipping. I called their customer service and they said they wouldn't honor the price and it's googles fault. It's not the price difference that bugs me, but the fact that I was being lied to. I don't appreciate false advertisement. This company is 100% breaking the law. California's False Advertising Law California's False Advertising Law (FAL) prohibits any company or individual from making false statements or statements likely to mislead consumers about the nature a product or service.

Ron has worked on my bikes since 2002 when he was still at Honda. His magic is worth every penny... Carb mod is a must for any bike.

The only place I take my bikes to get serviced, fixed, and modified. They are the best in Orange County.

He's taken care of all of the preventative maintenance and all of my off script requests. Not only on my Zero...but also on my Indian... He's got top notch skill and cares about the details. AND he takes the time to talk and explain what and why...never seems rushed. So chill... I would trust him with ANY issue on ANY bike. I would 100% recommend Tyler at Motowerkz to anyone!

In the last couple of months, the battery cells on my Zero motorcycle became too unbalanced and Tyler said he had a healthy (used) battery he was looking to sell. The front wheel of my Zero had also been making noises, so I refrained from riding it for several months while I proactively saved pennies on the dollar to afford to replace the battery and fix the front wheel. I do not own any other vehicle except this motorcycle. I finally took it in to Tyler and explicitly told him to look at the front wheel. He said it was "probably just age". I paid $400 up front so he could buy a part to retrofit the used battery to my bike model and an additional $2300 for the battery & labor. While picking up the bike, he made no mention of the front wheel. Exactly two weeks later with minimal rides, the front wheel gave out while on the freeway. Turns out the bearings needed to be replaced and had Tyler looked closely at the front wheel instead of just a standard test ride (which would have been done regardless), the problem would have been resolved before it got worse. In fact, he tried to justify his expertise by stating that I had only requested a bearings replacement on the rear wheel several months before. The front wheel got severely damaged from worn out bearings and front wheels are not available except on the used market. Luckily I did not get hurt. I'm out $2700 and my bike is effectively only good for parts or the scrapyard. While Tyler had allowed my bike to stay at his shop awaiting a potential replacement wheel, he would have charged $200 to transport it back to me, in addition to the $160 I paid AAA to tow it to him, so I'd be out an additional $360, over $3000 total. I trusted Tyler's expertise and now I have no motorcycle. He's been reliable in the past but this negligence & lack of properly diagnosing the issue was not only disappointing but he has shown zero accountability and would not recommend him or Motor Werks.

I finally stopped in to meet the owner, James, and right away I could tell this place was different. He took the time to come out, look over my bike with me, talk through what I wanted, and get everything scheduled without any pressure. One thing that really stood out was their communication. They use a text and email system for appointments, which makes everything simple and organized. During the job, James even reached out with a question about how I wanted something installed. He sent photos and followed up with a call to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it done--that level of attention is rare. From start to finish, the service was excellent. James and Danielle genuinely care about their customers, and it shows. It's that small-shop, personal experience you just don't get at most dealerships, where you can feel more like a number than a customer. They completed the work on time, the pricing was fair, and the quality was top-notch. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending 5K Oil to friends who want their bikes handled the right way.
