It was pretty filled when we got there which always makes me happy in this economy. My cousin also was happy that the tables had a nice amount of space between them. Great 1st experience at this Merrick sushi spot. Shishito peppers were delicious and fresh while sushi was on the money. A robust menu full of options of sushi rolls and sushi/non-sushi dishes, the chirashi bowl was plentiful and tasteful. Outside of the white tuna being a bit defrosted, the fish was fresh and enjoyable. Adequate service and decor complemented the experience. Certainly worth another visit down the road. read more

Great sushi restaurant that offers some great sushi options and Japanese cuisine. Now, I've only gotten takeout from here, but everything I've ever gotten has been very fresh and delicious. The sashimi is delicious and always fresh, the pepper tuna is probably my favorite. The specialty rolls are also always great and usually a nice variety of fish. Resturant is a little small, but they also have a small bar you can sit at. The prices are average for sushi and the service is very friendly. Enjoy! read more

Best sushi in Merrick! We stumbled upon 6 Elements on our first night in the new house when we moved to the neighborhood. Although it was busy, they sat us within 5 mins. The sushi is great quality. I am very picky when it comes to sushi. The rice to fish ratio is perfect and tastes fresh. Veggie dumplings and spring rolls are amazing too. The owner and whole staff is awesome and friendly . They now know us by name and what we usually order! We even order take out from there, we never once had an issue, always on point . So happy it's walking distance to our home! read more

This is the new local go to sushi spot in the area for sure. The place is small so it fills up quick out of no where, so make sure you take that into account. Especially, when making a reservation. If your just trying to walk in for lunch or dinner as well. They have both the eat in & take out menu's. They also have a lunch & dinner menu. If you order online sometimes you can even get the 10% off special! They do have a $15 minimum though which is basically two chef's sushi rolls anyways...They're lunch specials run 11:30am-3pm Monday-Friday usually if your interested. Now on to dinner they have a larger dinner menu which lots of options for drinks and food. We opted for the soups to start. With the miso soup being about the same taste but the wonton soup being very healthier tasting to any other I have had in the past. The sushi rolls tasted very fresh which is a must for raw fish! I would definitely stop in again or order out from this place. Not going to stay I'm not going to try other places but this one hit the nail on the head. Oh and if you in the neighborhood look out for coupons in your mail. Almost forgot you have got street parking in the front and in the back they have a parking lot in case you were wondering. I was in the mood for sushi while in Merrick, and found this place based on positive recommendations. It did not disappoint! The place is clean and quiet, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I had the miso soup and house salad to start. I didn't take pics of them because I devoured them! The ginger dressing is the best I've tasted! Then I had the pork gyoza, which was also SO GOOD. Absolutely loved the California Roll and Chicken Tempura rolls. Treated myself to the fried ice cream for dessert, and was a perfect end to the meal. New Asian fusion place on Merrick road! Reminds us a lot of Kashi on Bedford in Bellmore, from the decor to the menu to the service. Some attention to design, mitigated slightly by the TV above the bar. You can't escape it- either you sit facing the tv, or facing the mirror wall that reflects back the tv. Oh well. There aren't a whole lot of vegetarian options, but they were happy to adapt for us. I ordered the tofu bento box- miso soup (no bonito), salad, cucumber/avocado sushi, vegetable gyoza, brown rice, and of course the teriyaki tofu with carrots and broccoli. Everything was great, and I appreciate the effort. Separate single stall bathrooms for men and women, both wheelchair accessible. Pity they didn't just make them gender neutral. Oh well! It's Valentine's Day, so ordered from two sushi places tonight. 6 elements had the "passion roll" in the shape of a heart, so ordered two of those at $30. Plus a mango roll with shrimp tempura. Also ordered from the old Pantanas for some really good stuff. On the 6 elements passion roll, the outside tuna was not red, it was kinda gray and pink. It also smelled terrible. I didn't even know that until my son pointed out that the food tasted terrible. My son is a garbage disposal who eats anything, so something wasn't right. I wasn't looking for anything but brought it back to let them know. The hostess who ignores everyone but the cordless phone was there. She took a taste and realized it wasn't right. So she brought someone else to take a taste and he seemed confused and said the stink might have been from the seaweed. I said, please no, I love the seaweed, that was not the issue. He still ran away and tried to bring me something more fishy tasting. As I mentioned, I'm not looking for anything except the acknowledgment that something wasn't right. Instead of making it right, or acknowledging that they may be loosing others, they claimed the fact that **I am wrong**. I just tried 6 Elements by using UberEats for lunch at work today. It came extremely fast, 10 minutes before the original estimate. Impressive! And they put the soup in an entirely different bag which was a nice touch. I ordered the sushi trio lunch special, which was $15 and included soup and a salad. I've included a picture of the whole meal. Why don't more sushi places do the tuna salmon yellowtail trio? The sushi was fresh and tasty, and the salad was what you would expect. The pieces of sushi were significantly smaller than I'm used to, though, and I don't think they were rolled or assembled properly. It was extremely difficult to pick up a piece of sushi without having the rice fall out. I resorted to picking them up with my hands and it worked a bit better but this was far below what I expected after seeing how high quality the fish was. All in all, I'll probably end up getting the lunch special again. $15 for 12 pieces of sushi and a soup and salad can't be beat. Perhaps this order was rushed as it was an extremely fast delivery. As this place is new and the competition in the area is high I will reserve my judgment until I try it out some more, and I must go for a sit in meal! read more

Amazing! After losing ginza in massapequa been trying all the other local place. Most places were average at best. Maybe they all have great rolls but im not that in to that. I order sushi sashimi combo everywhere i go. Placed order for pickup and immediately received an email confirming that pickup in 20 minutes. Got there in 15 and it was ready. Was so pleased when i opened the bag. Very high quality fish. The tuna was some of the best ive had . Typically it comes with a California roll. At 6 elements they give a rainbow roll with the combo. It was fantastic. Also got a salad which was the regular salad you always get, nothing special . Looking forward to dining in. read more

Ok, so my favs are: beef bento box (always tender!), the calamari steak with butter sauce (something I never had before & delicious) & the udon noodles with veggies (chewy fun noodles). The walnut chicken & shrimp although greasy is very tasty & good to share.
