We just left Electrify Expo at Nassau Coliseum and wanted sushi. My husband is great at finding random spots for good food and this spot came up with very good reviews. We drove past it the first time - it's super easy to miss and is a very tiny storefront next to a condemned building. Don't let this deter you! We would have missed out on some of the best sushi we've had -- and it was super affordable since we were there during happy hour. An array of rolls, shumai and gyoza, plus cocktails and soft drinks was just around $130 before tip. We left very full! There is a sushi bar near the entrance and then table seating. They also have a second dining room that could used for parties, I think. The service was fast and friendly. And the sushi presentation was exceptional. I love the creativity that goes into sushi! There are so many places to eat in this area of Nassau county. But if we are shopping at Roosevelt Field or going to an event at Nassau Coliseum we would drive the 15 minutes for dinner here. They also have a full Asian fusion menu, including poke bowls, teriyaki, and lunch box specials.

We've sporadically ordered takeout and it's always been good. It's been a while since we last ordered and I'm so glad we ordered from them again! Delicious sushi, I loved the crazy tuna roll

After my neighborhood sushi purveyor closed, Itsuki Sushi popped up on my Yelp suggestion list so I decided to try them for a late takeout dinner. Ordered a variety of dishes including tricolor (tuna, hamachi & salmon, plus spicy tuna roll) sushi entree, edamame, gyoza and shrimp shumai. Ordering process on their website was smooth and simple, and the food was ready on time. Their nigiri sushi was well made with just the right amount of rice and very fresh fish, and the entree included a small green salad and miso soup. Friendly staff, very tasty food and reasonable pricing. Can't wait to pop in for an in-person dining experience as well. Excellent experience all around.

Decided to try this place since one of my fave sushi spots is closed today. Upon walking in, i was greeted immediately & seated. Everything was clean, neat, tidy, well lit, nicely decorated and sushi is being freshly made as i walk in (there was someone waiting for pickup). I ordered the crispy rice first bc it is one of my fave appetizers and WOW!! So, so good and it tasted so fresh. Probably one of the best i ever had. I got spicy kani and shrimp tempura for lunch and i watched the sushi chef make my rolls nice and fresh! The waitress kept checking in on me throughout my lunch and was so kind and friendly, she refilled my tea without me asking! I didn't have room for dessert but will definitely come back here again. Everything was so tasty!

The sashimi pieces are large, very tender and fresh. The portions are fairly large and the presentation is one of the best I've seen. Staff is very attentive and friendly and there are 2 rooms with the second having 6 more tables. They also have hibachi, though I didn't see where.

It was a cold midweek evening and this was the time for sushi. I side we were greeted warmly by the staff and seated to a very warm part of the restaurant. It was quiet, and something needed. Soup was hot, food was delicious, the sushi great. They seem to do a thriving take out business but definitely go in person to try the meals.

The service is always very warm and attentive with the perfect balance of checking in without being overwhelming. My husband ordered the chirashi lunch and I ordered the Bento C but substituted shumai for the spicy tuna gyoza, we also split a 3 roll combo, and added a piece of ikura for my husband and shitake mushroom roll. The bento c is my absolute favorite. I always order it especially because the kani salad is the best. The thing about Ginza is that it is truly amazing quality and you really get what you pay for, especially at lunch. We have leftovers for tonight as we clearly overdid it but I'm certainly not complaining. Can't wait for our next visit!

Ordered chicken skewers to start followed by the sushi/sashimi dinner entrée. The skewers were delicious and perfectly cooked. The fish was extremely fresh and the pieces were generously portioned. Solid service....attentive and balanced. Thankfully, we beat the rush because the place was full by the time we got ready to leave. The parking lot is a little crazy, so just be careful of drivers and pedestrians not paying attention. But the food!!! So good. I would absolutely visit Ginza again.

Seriously? How do places like this stay in business?…read more Plans for a business dinner at about 6:30, I arrived there around 5:30, starving, and asked the manager for a happy hour bar menu. Hoping to have a snack and a beer while I waited and go over the paperwork for our meeting. This seemed to confuse him, but whatever. I sat at the bar and watched the 'waitress' ignore me while doing nothing much. She closed out three tabs for people that didn't ask, poured a beer for someone that also didn't ask, then came out from behind the bar to annoy a guy at a table on his phone and eating. I looked right at her and she averted her eyes. Not even an 'I'll be right with you'. What was this all about? BTW...I was the only woman at the bar....hmmmmm... Ex waitress, bartender, caterer and kitchen manager here. I got up, stopped by the manager sitting at a table doing paperwork, complained succinctly, and walked out. He still seemed confused so I guess that that's his baseline. His purpose there? I have no clue. He needs to train his staff better. Do know that were were only maybe 5 or 6 other people in the entire restaurant at the time. So she lost a bar customer, no big deal, but she also lost 4 people for a business dinner that I moved elsewhere in the mall. Won't be back...

Owned by another fantastic Japanese couple where the husband used to deliver the best picks of fresh fish and seafood to award winning and Michelin starred restaurants all across NYC. I had a very disappointing experience at Izumi today…read more When I walked in for lunch, there were two women at the front, one of whom I later learned was the owner. Neither acknowledged me or greeted me when I entered. I said, "Hello," and there was no response. I then said, "Hello, how are you?" The owner finally replied, "Hello," with a very cold expression. When I politely asked how she was, she responded in an irritated tone, "I already said hello." The interaction immediately made me feel unwelcome. I told her, "You know what? I can't eat lunch here. I'm leaving." Her response was simply, "Okay," and she made a hand gesture signaling for me to leave. Afterward, I called the restaurant to express my concern. The employee who had witnessed the entire interaction told me that the woman was, in fact, the owner and that there was nothing she could do. Everyone has an off day, but customer service starts with basic courtesy. A simple greeting, kindness, or even an apology could have completely changed the situation. Instead, I was met with hostility and dismissal from the person running the business. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant. The way customers are treated matters just as much as the food, and unfortunately, I never even got the chance to order because of how unwelcome I was made to feel.
